Star and Stormy caught up to her through the open threshold of a brick door. She was standing clear on a wrought iron balcony, two sets of steps leading downwards from the platform to the factory floor below. The room was fifteen meters tall, thirty meters wide, and fifty meters from end to end, filled with an assortment of industrial machinery. There were fifteen or so ponies milling about in between the machines. At the far end of the room three ponies sat talking, seeming to be in a meeting of some kind.
One of the workers pointed up at them.

She notices the ponies pointing at them, and speaks without moving her mouth through an internal speaker, "They spotted us, act natural, act like nothing is wrong. If we duck out and run that will immedetly make it known we aren't supposed to be here." she waves at the pony pointing at her, smiling and giggling a little.

"Hum... You're right, they don't appear to have any kind of uniform. We actually might be able to pass by as workers. Stormy, stop waving. That's unprofessional. Lyra, don't try to answer any questions, let me or Stormy handle it." Star nodded to the guy, and began down the stairwell.
"Oh, come on. I can think on my hooves just fine." Lyra said dejectedly.
"And you have how many degrees in mechanical engineering?"
"... fair enough."

She followed after in suit, trying to look normal, as if this was a normal day for her. She looks at Star, saying quietly through her internal speaker "We are here just to survey, remember. Do not take anything." She turned off the blue glow in her pupils as well, changing them to a normal black.

Star almost put his hoof up to his ear; he must still be getting used to the speaker. He nodded subtly.

"Hey! You!" A yellow Pegasus mare nodded at Stormy. "You the new unicorn they sent down here? Come on, we're waiting!" She beckoned you forth. "The unit's got to be ready to go in seven minutes!"

"Oh, yes of course. I am here to activate this new unit. Just to clarify, what is this we are activating?" She inputed a silent command to automatically silence all console inputs and outputs, and walks over to them. This could be very bad, but she was keeping calm. It could be a simple computer, or perhaps a gun of sorts. She can fudge the activation processes for those, take and modify some she already has in a data base and fit it to work.

"Not surprising that you don't know. For such an 'efficiently' run place, they have quite the problem with cross-department communication, don't they?" The pegasus said, leading her through narrow spaces between machines. "You're just the emergency technician, why would you need to know what's being activated? It's not like that would make so much more sense!" She sighed. "It's just some final steps for an android. You're really only here just in case something goes wrong."

Internally, in her mind, alarms went off everywhere. An android? From here? Was it a threat? What would it do? How advanced is it? Questions like this, flooded her thoughts, but outwardly, she forced herself to look a little annoyed "Oh, that seems like an important thing they should of told me about. I will stand by if something goes wrong, of course. Does something go wrong with these androids often? Also, can you tell me the type of android, so I know what we are dealing with?"

"One of the ADOA's. Version 2.2 something, I think. You must be new here if you're asking if things go wrong. Let me give you a hint. You're not being payed 50,000 bits a year to fix light-bulbs." She said, banking sharply to the left. "Ah, here we are."
There is a open space, with four ponies on computers. A chestnut brown mare is suspended by cables from the ceiling. One of the ponies, an earth pony stallion, nods to you. "Right here." He points to the computer. "You take emergency readings."

Everything the yellow mare was telling her did not seem promising, and made it seem like she would encounter some problems, which chipped her confidence a little.

When she enters the room, she sees the suspended mare, vaguely reminded of Glados, and now she was suspended similarly. When the stallion talks to her, she blinks for a moment tl regsain her place, and upon hearing his orders nods, "Of course." and goes over to take a seat, looking up at the suspended mare as she does, and does a full scan of the android, then awaiting results, looks casually back at her screen.

-ERROR 1104: UNKNOWN ALLOYS DETECTED. -
-ERROR 1375: SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY DETECTED. -
-ERROR 067: STRONG ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD PRESENT. -

The screen has a lot of boxes, a crude 3-d model of the android displayed on screen. The text is readable, but the terms contain so much jargon that you can't really make much sense of it. The boxes are all green though, and all the things with percent signs after them are above 95%, so you're pretty sure things are going okay so far.

Supiror technology...? That was very very odd, since with the level of technological prowess they were at made it impossible for them to have technology as sophisticated as she, and even more so for it to be superior then hers. Regardless, she did her job, deciphering the seemingly incoherent jargon as best she could, and nothing was blinking or flashing or blaring at her, so things seemed fine... for now.

A few seconds pass. "Somepony hasn't entered their key." A unicorn mare says from across the room. "We only have three of the checks on."

Oh no, this could be bad. She did not have anyway of hacking into these computers, doing so would risk bringing attention... she looks at the mare and raises her handing, looking a bit embarrassed and smiling sheepishly, "Apologies but I am new here, literallg they just pushed me in without any information, and only told me my accsess key once, and I forgot it. Could you perhaps get on for me to speed things along?" she faked a blush.

"Now, that seems very odd. I haven't let a new pony in in three days." The stallion quipped. "As director of pony resources, I would have remembered being in a meeting with you today, don't you think?" He looked at you. "What is your name, little mare? We aren't barbarians, you know. We want to know who to send the body to."

She stays calm, "My name is Stormy Skies. I don't understand what you are saying, I am a new employee here." she inputs a silent command, ::COMBAT_SYSTEMS ONLINE::, "If you wish, I can leave and get the proper paper work.

"Then type in your access code, miss Skies." He said, grinning. "Guards, on standby." You hear some ominous clicking from above, and notice what looks like two automatic turrets pointing at you.

The prompt box appears large enough for five digits. There are at least twenty employees, probably more. That's a... one in five thousand shot at least, right?

She nods, if she did not do it she would have to initiate combat, if she failed, the same thing would happen. She had no choice but to guess, maybe the luck goddess was looking down on her. She inputed a code, and pressed enter, then silently prepared herself to spring into action.

The screen returned to normal. "Well, miss Skies, welcome to the company!" The stallion bowed. "Sorry for the mix up." He grinned. "Though, I would be very interested to hear how you managed to get in without going through me. Still, a tale for another time, eh?" He tapped his hoof twice, and the turrets turned away. "Keep up the good work!"

She almost melted in her chair, feeling all of that worry melt away. She smiles at him and nods, "Will do." And then does a full scan on him while responding, which after, she looks back at the screen.
