Doomato swallowed whatever substance it was that made his face turn green and sighed in boredom, wondering the ship out of boredom, he had so much boredom that he was oblivious to the fact that the ship had arrived at the destination.

Joy returned to land, going over the whole trip once more in his head.

Sottises climbed down from the crow's nest, taking a seat on the deck as she looked out at the ocean with a grin.
"Hmm, this turned out to be quite the adventure.
I hope to experience many more like it." she said softly.

Sweet sat next to her, her movements a bit too careful.
"Personally, I think I've had my fill of sailing for a long time."
she said tiredly.

Grey stepped onto the warm sands, she had missed this. The feeling of something other than wood under her hooves. The crunch when she walked, even the small sticks that annoyed her occasionally.

Doomato finally noticed that a ladder was hung-down for exits. "Such parlour tricks can get stuffed!" Without hesitation, Doomato sprint-jumped off of the railings and flopped, face-first, onto the sand.

Grey facehoofed at Doomato's actions, but walked over to him to help anyway.

Grey chuckled and pulled him out of the sand You may want to repeat that.

Doomato wiped a fair amount of sand off his face, "'Ladders are boring!'"

Grey just shook her head gently and patronized him Yes, yes they are.

I'm really starting to question his sanity. Joy was watching the spectacle.

Sweet and Sottises just glanced at each other. Sweet seemed concerned for Doomato's health,
whereas Sottises just seemed perplexed.

They both made their way down the rope ladder and onto the sand.
