i much prefer the story in oblivion than skyrim (also the guards)as it seems more blatanly important
and you cant forget the "flexibility" of the customization

Oh crap, you reminded me of the character I made with that face generator once. I uploaded him to TESNexus under the heading of "Hottest Character EVER!!!" with no photo and got >2k downloads. This is what he looked like: (not embedding it because I don't want to defile this thread)

What? Those were big games then, but now they're not much on sys req.
Unless you have a windows 3.1 or lower you can run it.
Unless you have a computer that is to good and then I would suggest a DOSBox-emulator.

It's more of an issue with the Computer itself dying.
The thing is like ten years old, it's a laptop, one of the heat sink things is completely broken, key sensitivity is everywhere, it lags constantly, etc.
Think of every problem that will let a PC run, but only just.
My laptop has it, most likely.

Try playing an unarmored Argonian with a Spear, carry as little as possible, warrior sign, focus on speed and agility, stay at maximum range.
Works like a charm for me.

The first Elder Scrolls I played was Morrowind, but I can't remember how far I got. I'm pretty sure I didn't finish it. I was a khajit, and everyone loved me until I randomly got naked in a store. Dunno why I did it.

I dabbled in Oblivion a bit, mostly playing around and enjoying Frostcrag Spire. That, and stealing from everyone and everything.

Next time I boot up the 360, I'm starting Skyrim over because I haven't even gotten very far and my Lydia is glitchier than anything. I can't handle her disappearing at random moments like she's been teleported to random places for absolutely no reason.

Speaking of Skyrim glitches, there's an excellent video compilation of them on Youtube called "The Ballad of Todd Howard". Don't think I can post it here, due to very brief violence at the beginning. I think a lot of them have been fixed at this point, but it's still pretty funny.

have any of you found the paralyze enchantment? it can cause some the ragdolls to spaz out the best time this happened to he was when i managed to get a spriggan to freeze in a ball shape, naturally i rolled it down the hill and BAM! it rolfcopters away

I had a dragon that kept getting frozen in mid flight, he was still flying forward, just slowly to the point where I shot a barrage of arrows to bring him down.

How the heck do you hits things with arrows in this game? They ALWAYS move too fast or too slow for me to hit the giant dragon like three feet away.
I've literally given up on bows completely.
At least with magic the shot does what you expect.

Well this dragon was glitching, not to mention my wood elf has the entire archery skill tree, so that means I can zoom in on targets and also slow down time long enough to hit

Indeed, there are people who're able to shoot a dragon down with a bow and arrow, even if they aren't a wood elf. Me? I.. got... some shots in. Heh.

Shot a dragon roosting and hit for 98% of its health making it swoop upwards and then crash into the ground

Well, now that my laptop's charger is fixed, I'm gonna restart Skyrim and hope for a less glitchy/teleporty Lydia. Yes, I need my laptop. How else can I access the Elder Scrolls wikia for such important things as the list of locations of the Stones of Barenziah?
