Book Club (jump in!)

[mentalshock]

"Hey I am hoping somepony could help find a book on herbs and pracktical uses" said an unknown voice.

[hazardtime]

Low Key turned towards the voice, hoping to render assistance.

A chocolate brown mare with a
pink puffy mane walked into the
Library. She smiled as she
started to make her way
toward the book return box. As
she took her books out of her
saddle bag she remembered seeing
an old poster about a book club.
Dropping the books off she thought,
Joining a book club would be fun.
I just need to make sure I don't
fall asleep during the meetings.
As she finished her thought she let
out a yawn. She then made her way
to her favourite section of the library,
fiction, and started to pick out a few books.

Mental notices the grey pony and ask "could you help me you seem to have been here before?"

"On occasion, yes.  If you go over to the non-fiction section, there is a section on gardening.  It's right up against the wall."

[mentalshock]

"Oh, thank you.My name is Mental. What might your name be?"

The mare, Pink Cloud, continued
to examine the books. She would pick one
and look at the summary then put it back.
After a while of searching she found two
books, Castle in the Air and
Doctor Sleep. She smiled at the
two covers and then made her way
to a table. Pink Cloud opened Doctor
Sleep and started to read it. As she
read each line her eyes started to
feel heavy. After a while, her head
fell in her book and she fell asleep.

"Low Key.  I don't think I got yours, either."

[mentalshock]

"Smooth Waters is my name but my friends usually call me Mental." Stated the yellow unicorn stalion with green mane and tail. Who was dress in the same fashon as the twins Aloe and Lotus.

Azure got his card, and had a quick skim through the book in his hooves. However, all it seemed to do was list all the evils of Changelings.
"Ugh, this is no help...wait..."
Azure spied the book club flyer, and one of the books on it:
""Forbidden Love?: Questions about interracial partnering."....I just hope nopony thinks I'm a weirdo..."
With that, he approached Scribble Books again. "Um, sorry...are any of the books on that list available to read now?" He asked, though he'd take an answer from anypony.

"Interesting nickname...Anyway, I'll leave you to your search."  Low Key turns around and begins to walk back to the table he was sitting at.

With that the male spa pony walked to the back of the library and began his search for a book that could help him with his specail problem.

As she continued to
use the book as a
pillow Pink Cloud slowly
started to wake up.
She sat up and wiped
some of the drool off
her face. Yawning, she
smiled as she continued to
read her book.

A black coated mare walked inside the library, smiling, she walked over to the spell books section, selected a book regarding fire spells, and started reading.

Pink Cloud watched the
mare pick her book and
sit down. Smiling she thought,
Maybe some company will
help me stay awake!
She then picked up her two
books and walked over toward
the mare.
Smiling she said,
Hello! Do you mind if I sit
with you while I read? I know
this is weird, but I tend to fall
asleep a lot during the day and
I'm hoping some company will
keep me awake!
The chocolate mare smiled
as she twirled one of her pink puffy
mane's strand as she waited for
an answer.

Grey looked over at the other mare Don't mind at all, names Grey Scale, you?

Pink Cloud smiled as she
sat down next to the mare.
As she opened her book she
said,
My name is Pink Cloud. Its
nice to meet you Grey Scale.
Before she continued reading
where she left off she took a
glance at what Grey was reading.
Smiling she said,
Fire Spell book eh? Interesting book.
I sometimes read spell books.
Kind of silly of a earth pony to do...
Pink Cloud giggled as she flipped a
page.

Grey chuckled I used to (and still do) read books on flight. But for the most part, I do research.

Pink Cloud eyes widen behind
her book. As her eyes followed
the sentences of the book she said,
I do some research too. Mostly about
unicorn magic. This might sound weird
but I find the unicorns to be fascinating.
....
Wow, that sounds weirder to say out
loud than in my head.
Pink Cloud nervously laughed as she
tried to hide behind her book. Attempting
to change the subject before weirding
out the new mare she said,
So um... Why are you reading a fire spell
book? Looking for new spells?
Pink Cloud let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes;
trying to keep her self awake.

Grey smiled Yes and no, I do research in my spare time, I'm a captain of the guard.
