Preserving the Hive OOC/Intro Page

Hello everypony and welcome to the PtH OOC page! ^^
I'd like to take a moment to clarify some things and hopefully answer some of your questions.

1) All races are accepted in this RP, and you can choose to have more than one character type.
Example: You may have a Changeling character and a Pony character, or any combination of Pony characters.

2) This RP takes place a few years later than the timeline of the "Hives" RP. However, it is greatly encouraged
if you'd like to return with a character that you may have had in the previous RP. You are also free to make an
additional character if you wish.

3) The Changeling Clan is more like a family than a Hive, they make their decisions as a group and
actively protect and support each other. They do not feed off of love from ponies, instead they subsist
on a "love elixir" to coexist peacefully with the Ponyfolk.

4) There is no "leader", they discuss their plans as a group, with each individual allowed to share their thoughts.
There is no rank/heirarchy system, each individual volunteers for tasks that compliment their strengths.

5) The caves in which the Changeling reside are the very same ones from the Hives RP. For those of you
who don't want to dig up that information, I shall post a map (Hand-drawn) of the interior for reference
at a later date.

6) The Ponyfolk have been told about the Changelings residing nearby. Princess Twilight has assured the public
that they are peaceful, yet has strongly discouraged anypony from making contact with them.
Your individual characters are free to react to the Changelings as they choose.

7) If you would like to "Introduce" your RP characters, feel free to here.
The form is in the same format that you would find in a sign-up thread, only this RP isn't exclusive
to a set number of characters.

8 ) If you would like to create specific "sub-groups" in the RP within the Changeling or Ponyfolk groups -
i.e. a Changeling scout patrol or a small unit of Pony guards - than rally your forces here.
This way the RP can stay organized without filling up with OOC.

Race: Changeling
Gender: Mare
Description: She left her original hive after the failed Canterlot Invasion. She blames the loss on Chrysalis' poor leadership skills. She now resides with the rest of he clan in the Caves, doing her best to ensure their safety and prosper.
She is fiercely protective of her Changeling kin and fights to keep them safe and ensure their prosperity.
She has standard Changeling abilities, but prefers to defeat her opponents with manipulation and trickery
rather than brute strength.

[B]Description:[/b] After speaking out against the queen of his hive for the mistreatment of some of the pony prisoners, he was thrown out of his hive and disowned by his father, who was the leader of the strike team. Soon after his exile, Silver joined the clan of Changelings in the caves, helping them with any and all things he could.

Silver is exceptionally fast and adept at transforming, being able to even take the form of a Hydra with ease. He tries his best to use his speed to his advantage, offering to go retrieve supplies whenever they're needed.

[B]Appearance:[/b] Silver appears as an average Changeling, but, instead of the standard blue-green eyes, he has light gray eyes. ((I'll try to have a picture of him up later.))

Age: Adult, number unknown.
Gender: Male.
Description:  After waking up with the other changelings and without a memory, Castor tried his best to keep his new family together.  Being exceptionally large, he tends to take the role of a guardian or protector for his family.  That said, he's not the brightest ever, and tends to react badly if he thinks something's his fault. 
Appearance:  Other than being an exceptionally large changeling, there is not real difference.  He's not amazing at transforming, but can get by.

Of course!!  And for everypony new to the Hive, you should read this.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED

Several changelings woke up in a set of mysterious caves, all of them outcasts from their hives for some reason.  After spending some time there, the group realized that they needed a way to function, as they weren't all adult: they had two younger changelings and a baby.  Therefore, the group elected two of their members to visit a nearby town called Ponyville and talk to somepony important named Twilight Sparkle.  The changelings managed to make a deal with Twilight:  The changelings would stay away from the ponies and offer their aid, should the ponies be able to provide a potion that was a love-substitute: it could sustain the changelings.  While some in the hive were rebellious and pushed this deal far, the deal remained unbroken, and the hive would prosper.  That said, the hive would remain similar to a town or family, and would never become a true hive, deciding to remain without royalty.  This RP will pick up one year after the previous one, when the hive has grown somewhat into an ally of ponies.

Hm...I'd join, but I have a few things in the way. 
Firstly, I'd need to make a new OC.  That's not too much of a problem though, I already have a few ideas.
Secondly, I'd need to juggle between this and Pascalo.  That'll be the hard part.
And thirdly, I'd need to figure out how to play a changeling...Not something I'd ever thought I'd need to do.

I'll keep thinking about it.

While there is no hierarchy, I like the idea of having a dictating group of the original characters, it makes sense that they would need to stay organised and need someone to lead them when trouble starts brewing.
