I am really new to 3D modeling and really don't know where to start. If anyone out there would help me out a bit?
I am no stranger when it comes to operating a computer or even software for that matter, but to 3D model and create music is a different story.

Thanks :D
P.S. Also new to forums and have no clue

I find this the best if you're making 3D ponies and your a beginner at modelling stuff.

However, hand 3D modelling is quite hard, and it's not that easy to explain

Not to be mean but...that's not 3D modeling...That's more a fun app.

What I would do is find a Program named "Blander" and watch some YouTube videos on how to work it, the program is free I believe. and the LoE staff can always help too!

I believe it was "Blender" ( I actually had it for a while, but it wasn't my forte )

But yeah, what Emu said

A lot of us on the team uses either Autodesk Maya or Blender. If you choose using any of these two, then you can easily find tons of video tutorials through youtube or get help through many different forums like ours.

Maya:
http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/maya
Blender:
http://www.blender.org/download/

If you choose to get Maya, there is a help menu inside the software which lets you learn both the basics and advanced ways to model, texture, render and animate.

Thanks! I am familiar with blender and my brother used Autodesk for his engineering. Just the only problem I seem to have is that I have questions that can't really be answered in video... So that's why I decided to try and see if I could ask people with specific questions...

So I think I'm going to give blender a shot again, and if I have some questions I'll post them here.
Thanks!
