You do know, you can make him a counter spell specialist. Countering other casters is what he could be good at.

That could be interesting, have him know how to counter spells with minimal power input, essentially a counter-mage, though I have some difficulties figuring out how to describe it. Considering just going for not having anything really special frankly.

Position: Reinforcement guard, counter-mage

Description: Chibalt is a slightly larger than average changeling with no holes in his legs or anywhere else on his body, resulting in a more solid than usual chitin. His wings are a slightly darker blue than most and he has most of the usual signs of a royal changeling, including larger wings, a noticeably larger horn(a little smaller than most changeling royals and with no holes), irises and a mane usually kept in a fairly short somewhat spiked style. The colour focus(Like how chrysalis has a lot of green) is mostly blue, with his irises being cobalt blue, his mane being a dark somewhat dusty grey and the rest being various shades of blue, though mostly darker shades.

Other:His equipment is noticeably customized to fit him better and be somewhat less decorative than most, the helm's neck armour almost entirely removed to allow for better movement, the top fin also is removed, instead allowing his mane through, the lighter parts of the armour is also darkened a bit along with most of the plating either removed or adapted to allow him more freedom of movement, including allowing free use of his wings. His main weapon and means of defense is a collapsible enchanted quarterstaff that can also work as a mage's staff and is usually holstered in a strap on his left foreleg.

Edited Chibalt a bit, removed that affliction on his leg entirely, does it look good now?

So she is an afflicted. You do know that the affliction will only surface on the full moon. So around that there shouldn't be any problems.

i have question, what if the planet has no moon or on the other hoof, multiple moons. Does it have to be a dead dry rock like our moon, or can it have an ocean like Europa(Jupiter's moon), or can it even have a vast rain forest like some fictional moons, would that work? And what if the moon never has a "full" phase, that it orbits its planet in an angle that it just never will be full. Or is the change locked to Equestria's cycle, even if we're so far away...

Am i thinking too deep into this?

Alright, introducing our two moons:

Thanatos: A dry, dead rock, three month orbit around the planter, rotates so that it always turned with one side to the planet.

Sirius: A planetoid twice the size of our moon, with a thick jungle forest across the whole moon. Orbit around the planet if one months. A day sickle is 40 hours.

Normally the transformation would happen based on the current full moon. which means, if more then one full moon happens on a world the transformation is to happen more often. Now if the moons happen to at one point have a dual full moon on the same night it should be as if there was only one full moon.

If non of the moons on a planet have the full moon state there should be no transformation possible unless there is another factor such as the afflicted can control the transformation and use it at their leisure, for a temporary boost in power.

Are you referring to Starlight's condition? If so Lycans have will based control, but she doesn't know that.
