Sweet Hoof hummed happily to herself as she arrived for another day at the beach.

She adjusted her new sun hat to see better, and then found a nice shady spot to store her saddlebag as she prepared to play in the water.

As she soaked her hooves, Sweet looked up to see Grey here as well. "Hello Grey, how are you?" Sweet called, smiling.

Grey returned to the Beach after a long night of slumber, she saw Sweet Hoof on the Beach already, wearing the hat that the mysterious sales-stallion had given her.

Grey saw Sweet calling to her so she trotted over and said "Hi Sweet! I am doing good, how about you?"

"I'm doing good too! In fact, as I was making sandcastles yesterday, this gentlemanly salestallion gave me this sunhat." Sweet Hoof beamed, feeling much better with her hat keeping the hot sun off of her.

"Yay, would you mind if I ran a detection spell over the hat? There was something shady about that guy......."

A slate-gray stallion with brown mane/tail trotted happily onto the beach, pausing only a moment, scanning for an open area, then smiling as he spotted one. He walked over and sat down, enjoying the air and view.

Sweet blinked in surprise. "You can if you want Grey, but I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it."

[Greyscaleisme]

Grey ran the detection spell, it came out positive for memory spells, she said "Chibi I would advise that you take that off your head, it has memory altering spells on it."

[ChibiGrrl]

Sweet Hoof became sad. "O-okay Grey, if you're sure. . .but that salestallion was so kind to give it to me."

Sweet removed her hand and handed it to Grey.

[Greyscaleisme]

Grey ran a spell over it to remove the harmful spell and said "Here, I took the memory spell off it, its just a normal hat now." Grey gave the hat back to Sweet

Sweet Hoof pawed the air in delight. "Thank you so much Grey! You're such a great friend, and your skill with magic is impressive."

"Thank you Sweet, I always have had some good abilities."

[ChibiGrrl]

Sweet tilted her head, curious. "Are unicorns gifted with specific types of spells? How did you get so good?"

[Greyscaleisme]

"I would assume that each unicorn has some form of magic that they are more gifted in, the only reason I'm so good is because I am the captain of the street guards, well, that and its one of my better skills."

[ChibiGrrl]

"A Street guard huh? That sounds cool! When did you get that position?"

Sweet's eyes were filled with admiration as she eagerly awaited Grey's answer.

[Greyscaleisme]

"I got the position about 3 years ago, before that I was just a regular guard, nothing too glamorous."

[ChibiGrrl]

"It sounds like it could be pretty exciting at times though. . .". Sweet imagines Grey in full armor, bravely standing guard against any evil that could threaten Ponydale.

(I tend to daydream alot in real life )
