Pascalo Beach [SIGN-UP]

After finishing his conversation with Checkmate, Fantaisie simply wandered about the beach.
He was slightly disappointed that he had somehow forgotten to sell Check a hat.
"...Am I losing my touch?..."
He did his best to shake off the feeling.

Noticing the Check-A-Like and another talking to each other, he decided against meeting her.

Remembering that there was usually another around, he quickly took a look about the beach.
"Alright, I WILL make a sale.  I must."
With determination, Fan trots over to the mare standing beside the sand castle.

Moon Glow laughs hearing her saying so.

"Well I didn't live my life not being able to flatter any pony I've crossed with." He grins so much that his teeth shown.

"But that's another story to tell with as that pony over there have been observing us." Pointing Grey at ChibiGrrl in a distance from them.

"Oh yes, thats Sweet Hoof, a friend of mine, we met early today, just after I came here actually."

Sweet Hoof looks up to see a stallion approaching her, she recognized him from earlier. The salestallion had given a hat to Ayffor.

Sweet smiled at him as she swept her mane out of her eyes, her head felt a little too warm from the sun. . .

"And it looks like there's somepony else approached your friend, Grey. Do you recognize him?"

"I know that he was here early today, he gave a hat to another friend of mine, Ayffor, he probably wants to sell her something."

Sweet Hoof looks up to see a stallion approaching her, she recognized him from earlier. The salestallion had given a hat to Grey.

Sweet smiled at him as she swept her mane out of her eyes, her head felt a little too warm from the sun. . .

[[Heheh, the hat was for Ayffor actually.]]

Noticing her cheerfulness, Fan raises his own in order to compensate.
"Good afternoon!  I noticed your sand castle and simply couldn't help but come over to admire it.  Well...That, and you looked quite overheated."

Sweet Hoof smiled, happy that her hoofwork was being praised. . .she didn't receive praise very often.

"Yeah, the sun has been pretty intense lately. . ." Sweet dug through her saddlebag for her canteen.

"I am sorry Moon, but I must take my leave, there is a meeting I must attend, please have a nice day!" Grey trotted off the beach to attend the meeting

"I can't help but notice that you're in tragic need of a hat.  And I happen to have just the one."
Fan uses a small spurt of magic, not much glimmer, to teleport a sun-hat into their midst.
It's a simply beige, made of a straw-like material, with an orange ribbon around the center.
"Would this do?  I'd think it fits your colors rather well."

Sweet Hoof becomes transfixed on the hat before her. Not only was it simple in design (her favorite), but she was also dazzled by the unicorn's magic. Her family had spurned magic as lazyness or showing off, but Sweet Hoof found it fascinating.

"Such a lovely hat! But. . .I don't have many bits left with me". Sweet dropped her gaze, embarrassed.

Giving off a small chuckle, Fan smiles.
"Oh no, you misunderstand.  There's no charge."
Fan levitates the hat onto Sweet's head.
"Now, I believe there's something I've forgotten to do yet again.
My name is Fantaisie Casquette-"
Fan gives a small bow.
"-What might be yours?"

Flustered from the unexpected gift and the gentlemanly nature of the salestallion, she was blushing quite hard.

"Erm. . .My name is Sweet Hoof, but mostly everypony calls me Sweet".

(here's hoping that I never meet a suave salesman in real life )

(So, as my first attempt didn't really turn out, I'm just gonna be starting over. Feel free to pretend you never saw me post here before.)

Taking her first steps out onto the beach, Olivine's eyes busily swept over the entire expanse of the horizon before her, and it was all clear blue skies as far as the eye could see. Letting out a sigh, she gave the sands in front of her a gentle kick. "But of course, not a cloud in the sky."

Grey had finished her meeting and was now coming back to the beach, she noticed the olive colored mare on the edge of the shore and thought to herself " hmm, another pony, seems the beach is getting popular!"

"Oh, I nearly forgot to mention.  Tucked under the inner lining of the hat is a business card.  If you happen to want a hat for a different occasion, then come by, see what we have?"
Fan looks back down at the sand castle, genuinely impressed by it.
"I'm sorry if it seems impertinent, but how in Equestria did you make this without magic?"

Sweet looked at her sand castle, filled with pride. "Actually, I became quite dexterous with my hooves because of planting family crops, we grew potatoes, when I was a filly. I often collected the frozen ones from the fields in the fall and carved faces into them. . . Being the only daughter of a potato farmer influenced my name too, I grew up eating sweet potatoes all the time since it was all we could spare." Sweet becomes lost in thought. . .

Out of the corner of her eye, Olivine could see a pony walking out on to the beach looking at her, a mare from what she could tell. Figuring that she might as well just ask somepony, she calls out to her. "Hello over there! Do you think perhaps you could help me out?"

Seeing her thinking expression deepen, he decides to say something.
"It seems you have a very fond memory of your past."
I wish I could say the same. He thought.
