Ponysona: The Rise and Fall of Tartarus

Checkmate stepped onto the train quietly, not acknowledging any other pony, and sat as far back as he could, away from anypony else.

Mage groggily awoke from his sleep.

What the heck happened last night? It seemed like a dream. Or was it?

The key that was given to him in his dream was on table next to his bed which also had his alarm clock on it that he always set to wake himself up in time for school.

Mage just sat on his bed for quite a while, speechless. Eventually though... he looked at the time. It was already almost time for school. He quickly ran around his house, gathering what he needed and began galloping to school.

"Geez... I really don't have time for this... I'll worry about that weird stuff that happened to me last night later. I need to focus on school right now" thought Mage

Blob woke up,  went downstairs, and grbbed his schoolbags. he gotto the station just in time to ride the subway to the school area.

J wakes up getting his stuff and heading to the station he checks how much money he has on him to see if he'll be able to do anything after school

Blue took the note from Aurora, but didn't have time to read it just yet. Luckily all the ponies managed to get on the train in time, although it was really close. Blue sighed and decided to read the note. "Hmm...? Why didn't she tell me about this?" She whispered to herself.

Once on the train Dusk spoke to Aurora. "So what was it about the midnight?"

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I had just finished the final preperations for the re-grand opening of Midnight's Fortunes. The store I own inside the mall. If you want to find out what I do there, you just need to visit. For first time customers, the first time I provide the service, it will be free. This is the re-grand opening special. If you haven't been to my shop before, then you get one service for free.[/glow]" aurora seams to have gotten off topic in her excitement.

She realizes this and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Sorry about that. I got off topic. I am just excited that I can open shop again.[/glow]"

She gets right back on topic afterwards and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]As for after setting the shop up, I decided to head home and get some sleep. But as the time struck midnight, I noticed something odd. There was what looked to be coffins everywhere and weird shadow looking things tried to attack me. If it wasn't for my Rotara, Fate's Apprentice, I would not have been here today. When I called twilight this morning about it, she told me to come see her personally. After I spoke with her, she gave me that note and said I should move into the listed dorm. As for why I don't know.[/glow]"

Aurora seams both scared and confused about what she is describing. But something about this Rotara would have somepony asking questions.

she seams to also have remembered something and says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Oh yea almost forgot the most important part. do you know what The Velvet Room is? I had a dream about it as well.[/glow]"

Blue hid the note in her bag. "Coffins? Hmm, maybe you were just tired." She tried to shrug it off and act as if she doesn't know anything. "Anyway, if you need help with moving i am free today after school." She smiled.

Dusk tilted his head a bit, growing a little suspicious of the small mare as.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]I hope your up late because I won't be available till late evening. I have a shop at the mall to run after school today.[/glow]"

((She did just speak about her shop in the mall called Midnight's Fortunes. Yes, Hunter already approved it. Also, is the day of the week Monday or Tuesday in game time? am trying to set up when the shop is open and when it isn't.))

((it's Tuesday, and i know going to the doctors in like an hour, so i'll be off in a little while))

"Yeah, I do remember you getting lost... sorry for mentioning it late, just had to think" She giggles and takes a seat next to a pony from her last school year and starts talking.

Aurora says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Sabrina, I don't remember you ever coming to my shop last year. If you want or anypony else for the matter wishes to talk to me I am usually there on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday after school. My shop is open till late evening on those days. If a costumer requests it, I can open shop on Sunday anytime. Please do come and visit me there. Even if it is just for a friendly visit. By the way, if I act funny on the day before and night of the new moon, don't worry. It is something that happens every time the new moon comes around. If I cause any problems then though please let me know because I might not remember it afterwards.[/glow]" Aurora reminds Sabrina about the new moon incidents involving Aurora becoming a lot more like a trouble marker during that day and night.

"On the new moon huh. Than we don't wave to worry about that for some time. I mean, the moon is full in two days after all." Blue said with a giggle as the train stopped and everypony headed for school departed.

As Aurora gets off the train she says, "[glow=navy,2,300]Good! Then I will be at my peak strength then. As the old saying goes, One who is bound to the light of the moon with have boosted power on the full moon but become their shadow on the new moon. This was a saying my 3rd great grandmother Vivian taught to all her children and now it is my turn to carry the saying. My 3rd great grandmother was a great fortune teller. She had passed the art from mother to daughter and I am the most recent to learn the arts from my mother, concepts rest her soul. If you will excuse me, I have some research to do before going to class. c'yall at class and if not, c'yall at my shop's grand re-opening.[/glow]"

Aurora after saying her words leaves the group and heads for the library for a quick research study before going to class.

((Aurora just revealed a part of herself to the group. In a way she is bound to the cycles of the moon. I don't know if that grants a level up to the fortune arcana or not but hey. it won't change the event surrounding her awakening her persona.))

Mage was getting close to the school, so, he began to slow down. It looked like his hurry actually made him a bit early.

So... he waited at the front of the entrance to the school to wait for those other ponies that he saw yesterday. Maybe they could help him out with the weird dream he had?

Nah... it would probably be best not to mention it because they'd probably think he was going crazy if he told them about his weird dream and the weird key he now had.

Blob read a book as he st on the subway, and rushed to the school afterwards. he ended up being a little early by doing so.

Once the train arrived, Checkmate silently walked through the crowd to get to class.
