Current Location: Ponyville, she got separated from her family when she was 13. She was foalnapped and shipped to Equestria. She's trying to get back to her family back in Itrotly.

Favorite food: Rose flavored honey

Story: Milana grew up with her sister, Gloria Di Mattina, and her parents in a small rural village in Itrotly near Pone. Her father was a flower harvester and her mother took care of Gloria and Milana. One day, Gloria and Milana took a stroll deep in the forest near home. Suddenly, Milana fell through the ground into a cavern. Screaming for her sister, Gloria rushed back home for help. Milana laid there, unconscious for a few minutes, then woke up. The cavern had two holes in the wall. Milana started to cry for some time, her wings broken, She looked up from her hoof and saw the two tunnels again, one had a improbable red light coming out, barely to be recognized, and the other was pitch-black. Milana limped towards the faint light, experiencing the sharp pains from her left wing. A few minutes later, the light got brighter and brighter until she stumbled upon the shining red object. It was the rarest rose in all of Equestria, The Glimmer Rose! Milana gasped at the sight and her mouth dropped. She carefully grabbed the rose from the cavern floor and held it in her right wing. Suddenly Milana hears her dad calling for her. "¿MILANA DOVE SEI? ¿STAI BENE?" (Where are you? Are you okay?) Milana answers back quietly, and tells her father about her wing and the rose. Gloria gasped in disbelief as Milana told them of the rose. After Papa Roseta took out a rope from his saddlebag, he told Milana to hold on to it. He pulled and Milana made her way to the top. Gloria and Papa asked Milana to see her new rose right when she crawled out of the hole. She ignored them and gave them both a hug and a kiss. Milana then says that she doesn't need the rose, she only needs them. She gave Gloria the rare rose and Gloria gave her a big hug. Suddenly, a big heart and a rose appeared on Milana's flank, and she got her cutiemark! It was Milana's best moment of her life, despite the glass breaking pain. A few months later, her wing recovered and she was flying again, glad to have the experience. Milana shared her cutiemark story to her friends and eventually spread across the whole village and then spread across the country even! Papa and Mama Roseta kept and still keeps the rare flower in a glass case in a unknown location of their villa.

[Act One]

Very well written, and thought out. So many quirks and traits, but none colliding and some correlating with others, i.e. Liking hats, and hating the wind that blows them off. We even get a lovely mini-story of how the cutie-mark appeared, which it the 1st one I've seen here.
I can't think of any criticism for this, and all I can say is "Take flight, little pony."
