Applesauce helps Fifi and takes the basket before stumbling " Whoa! These ARE heavy.. " she says as she stands up properly. " Chaser! Chop! Can I get some help? " she says whistles. Instead of two dogs greeting her, a single dog with to heads carried the basket for her. " Anyway, they are one thing, known as an Orthros... "

I don't think I should carry those, just knock them from the trees and put them in baskets. So what is the pay rate?

[Grizzly]

Fix undid the strap and walked to the two mares. "Let me help you, ladies." He said politely and raised the basket and puts it on his back. "Wow, this is heavy..." He said but was able to move it on the wagon.

Blue was playing with the dog that missed the whistle.

" I recon 20 bits an hour on Apple Bucking Season and 15 every other day. Maybe 25 on Zap Apple harvest? " she says as she calculates various numbers. The orthros waddles up to Blue and wags it's tail before the head both lick her.

Thanks Fix. She smiles sweetly at him. Of course I love to help out others, bits are not the main reason why I work.

" It's nice to hear that kind ponies like you folk still are around " she says as she gives a sweet look to the farm hands.

"Sound fair enough." Fix nods as he hears about the pay. "Oh, by the way, if you have anything that needs fixing, just tell me. As my nickname suggests, i have a thing for fixing." he giggled.

Oh alright. Her stomach growls. What's for lunch?

Blue giggled while being licked, she rubbed the belly of the Orthros, then she found a ball somewhere and thew it for him for him to retrieve. "Fetch!" she called and giggled as she threw the ball.

"I thought it was traditional to have Apple Buckin' done only by members of the Apple family! At least that's what Applejack told me the first time I came here looking to help." The comment was shouted out by the turquoise unicorn who came trotting into the orchard after Applesauce, Fix, Blue Star, and Fifi had settled down on their break. He wore a rather confused look behind his glasses upon realizing that the farmhands did not have Apple related cutie marks fixed to their flanks. The unicorn took a moment to look around the orchard, scrubbing his chin and thinking to himself. In a lower tone, he spoke again, "So what's the story? Did they both injure themselves or something?"

The unicorn may have sounded a bit rude and offensive the moment he spoke. However, he does bring up a valid point to consider, just what in Equestria happened to the family that was known to live here? Granny Smith, Big Macintosh, Applejack and Applebloom were nowhere to be found, and here's this new pony who is apparently the owner of Sweet Apple Acres. Applesauce may be an Apple, but that doesn't mean everything should feel right to him with this sudden change of scenery.

[Grizzly]

As soon as the new pony spoke the little blank flanked filly ran up to the nearest pony she knew, which was Applesauce and hid behind her. She peeked from behind Applesauce's back with one eye and observed very timidly.

Fix, on the other hoof, just scratched his head. "I don't know... Anyway, my name is Fire I. Rod the third, also known as Fix, nice to meat you." he said while walking to the new stallion and raised his hoof for a hoof shake.

(( I might temporarily play the Apple Family until another thing happens and they have to leave ))

" Applejack entrusted her farm to me while they were at Horse Shoe Bay. They are on their way back now " she says as she puts out her hoof for a hoof shake " The names Applesauce, great to meet ya' " she adds as the Orthros heads fight over the ball in the background.

[Grizzly]

The little filly looked at the two headed dogie briefly, and although she was still very timid in front of the new pony, she couldn't  resist the Orthros's cuteness and galloped to it. She petted both of the heads and then picked up the ball. "Good boy~" she said with a giggle and prepared for another throw. "Fetch!" She threw the ball as far as a small unicorn filly can.

" Oh, and for lunch, we got apple pies... apple Danishes and I also managed to make some hay fries. " she says as her stomach growls, " I was gonna make some more pie for supper with lil' Blue " she says as she turns her head to see her playing with the Orthros.

The Orthros dashes off into the orchard after the ball, but doesn't come for a while.

[Grizzly]

When the dogie didn't return for some time, Blue tilted her head and galloped forward in the direction she threw the ball.

Applesauce notices Blue is gone and calls out, " Where are ya' goin, sugar cube? " she says as she turns her head.

[Grizzly]

Fix walks up to Applesauce, standing by her side he looks around, growing nervous that he can't see his niece anywhere. "Blue!?" but he got no answer, his ears flop down "What did i tell her about running off and not telling anypony?" he said with a 'not again' expression.

Chaser and Chop both bark loudly at the black thorned vines that slowly erupt from the ground. They tangle around the trees and pull the apples from the branches. Chop bites one and begins to pull. Chaser follows by pulling on the same vine. Their ball is stuck in the ever growing vines.

[Grizzly]

When she got there Blue tilted her head, sat down and observed the vines for a bit. As she was sitting she suddenly got higher, puzzled by this she looked down and saw she was sitting on one of the vines. She cried out and jumped down, another vine tried to catch her when she hit the ground but she managed to jump from that one too. Looking around a bit she quickly charged her horn and the ball got covered by the gentle red hue of her magic and flew towards the filly. "Let's get miss Applesauce..." she called on the dogie and ran tried to run back to the adult ponies, hoping the Orthros is following her.

The dog released it's tight grip and dashes after the filly howling loudly.

Applesauce trots toward where she saw them last, only to have her hoof coiled in the strange vines. " What the hay?! " she says trying to shake it off, only making it pull her down onto the ground.
