Applesauce leaned against an apple tree and waited for her new workers to arrive. She had all of the worker cabins in great shape for the arrival of her new helpers.

[Grizzly]

As a train approaches  Ponyville a little light blue unicorn filly with dark blue mane and tail and red eyes trots back and forth the station. The train already has a delay and the filly is visibly nervous. As she sees the train stop by the station she smiles and runs near it, trotting from one exiting passenger to the other. When it seemed all the passengers got of and she didn't see the pony she was waiting for she gave an saddened sigh. "Where are you, uncle?" she whispered to herself. "Right here, little filly." She heard from behind her. She turned to see a light brown earth pony stallion with blue eyes and a blond mane and tail, carrying protection goggles around his neck and a saddlebag. The filly smiled widely and jumped at him, hugging him tightly. "Calm down, Blue, i'm here." The stallion giggled and hugged her back.

The two talked as they were on their way to the house of the filly's grandfather. She was staying in Ponyville for the summer break. The stallion noticed a add poster, asking for farm hooves, he rubbed his chin and checked his bit bag, as he expected it was almost empty. "Say, Blue? Could you take me to this Sweet Apple Acres? I could use a job when i'm here." He asked, the filly nodded and they changed direction. It took about 20 minutes to get to the Acres, the stallion smiled and gave the filly his bag, asking to take it home. "Aww, i wanted to spend some time with you." The filly protested and tried to pull the good old sad eyes trick, but it didn't work on the stallion. "Don't worry, we will. But first i have to take care of this." He smiled and the filly left for home with a sigh.

Soon the stallion was on the farm ground and looked around, spotting Applesauce. With a big smile he galloped to her. "Well hello there, ma'dame. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Fire Ignite Rod the 3rd, also know as Fix." He pulls out the add poster out of thin air and gives it to the mare. "So, i have seen this poster that asks for farm hooves and i am very interested in this job offer. Rest assured that even though i don't look like much i know how to work hard and i'm not afraid  getting my hooves dirty."




Name: Fire I. Rod the 3rd, a.k.a. Fix.
Race: Earth Pony.
Gender: Stallion.
Age: 22.
Personality: A very talkative pony, he likes to ramble for hours without end. Lightheaded in nature, gifted with a keen understanding of mechanical tools and machines. Loves to fix and invent things. What he fixes usually works better that when he got it in his hooves, his inventions however have a bad habit of exploding.

Name: Blue Star.
Race: Unicorn.
Gender: Filly.
Age: 10.
Personality: (Side character, i will use her only occasionally) Kind and playful, very energetic but rather timid around ponies she doesn't know.

Applesauce grins and nods her head. "Can tell. " she says before looking at Blue Star. " Who's this sugar cube here ? " she says kindly.

[Grizzly]

Fix sighed "Tell me she not..." He turned around to see Blue, who smiled shyly and giggled. Fix sighed again and turned back to Applesauce. "This is my niece, Blue. Come here and say hi at least." He encouraged the filly, who slowly trotted in front of him "Um... hi." she whispered and blushed. Fix chuckled a bit. "She was supposed to go home. But i guess she really wants to be with me now." the filly blushed a bit more and nodded. "So, er... you don't mind her around do you? If not, just say whats needed to do and i'll get to it, Boss!" Fix saluted and Blue giggled "Me too! Me too!" She saluted as well.

" She is fine, the more hooves the happier. " she grinned at Fix." Tonight we got some pie for supper, if she wants and is allowed to she can cook it with me while we wait for the other workers"

[Grizzly]

Fix turned to Blue "You heard that, you'll be helping with the cooking with miss..." He stopped there and turned back to applesauce. "Oh, i'm so sorry but i didn't catch your name. Anyway, she is allowed to help with the cooking." He smiled and the filly partially hid behind him again. "Oh, don't be so shy, Blue. This nice lady wont hurt you." He giggled again.

Applesauce grinned " The names Applesauce, great to meet ya both. Does the pretty little lady want a bed if she wants to sleep here some nights? "

[Grizzly]

"Likewise." Fix said with a smile, and added. "Nah, it's ok. Ponyville is really close by, and her grandpa would kill me if she wasn't home during the night."

She smiled and nodded. " The cabins ar down there, I'm gonna start the harvest. "

[Grizzly]

"Kay, i'll just throw my bag in one of them and help you. Blue? You could start helping right now." Fix said with a smile and left for the cabin, leaving the filly there with Applesauce. "So, um... what should i do? I never did a harvest." the filly said, still partially whispering.

[Tabbyte]

" Its pretty easy, all you need to do is face away from the tree and kick and apples will be fallin' "  she said as she kicked a tree.

[Grizzly]

Blue nodded and walked to the closest tree, turned back to it and "Like this?" she said before kicking it as hard as she could. Her filly kick wasn't even enough to make the tree shake. Soon enough Fix returned to the two, leaving his bag in one of the cabins as he said he would. He saw as Blue tried to buck the tree and couldn't help but laugh "How precious."

Apple grinned, " Let me help ya' " she said as she kicked the tree and golden delicious apples rained down from the sky imto the buckets. " Golden Delicious? I thought this was the Gala Apple section? " she says in confusion.

[Grizzly]

The filly just shrugged "I don't know, you're the boss here, remember?" Fix teased as he came closer. "So, we're bucking trees? Anyway, i'm ready, willing and able." he added.

" Well, lets get started then! " she said gleefully.

[Grizzly]

"Ay~ay, sir! I mean, ma'am!" Fix saluted and came to the nearest tree, kicking it hard with his hind legs. The tree shook and apples started to fall, about half of them fell after the first kick. "Blue, go and prepare more empty baskets, I don't think you're strong enough for this yet. " He said, the filly nodded and galloped to the nearby wagon to get empty baskets. "Don't run you silly filly, you'll only get tired super fast... well, she'll figure it out soon enough." Fix tried to lecture his niece a bit but she was long gone.

Apple grinned as she watched Fix lecture Blue.

[Grizzly]

Fix bucked the tree again and rest of the apples fell down in the baskets. Just in time to get to the next tree Blue returned with empty baskets. "Thanks, but like i said before, don't run, you'll just get tired fast." He said again as he set up the empty baskets. "Think you can bring the full ones  back to the wagons? I mean, if they aren't too heavy for you?" The filly nodded and tried to lift one full basket, but couldn't.

Apple trots over to Blue to help.

[Grizzly]

Blue was struggling with the basket until Applesauce helped, picking two baskets at the same time with some kind of pole. "Ohh." The filly said and followed apple to the wagon. Fix in the meantime bucked the next tree clear of apples and was preparing for the next one.
