"Grandkids, huh? That's pretty cool. He still married?" Larry knocked over a lamp, and almost caught it. It rolled off his arm, and shattered on the floor. He seized up, but no sound of movement came from the living room. He spoke in a whisper. "Summer? I need your help."

zendayafan111

"No, we gotta fix it, he's gonna be so mad! Where's the glue?" Larry started breathing a little heavy, and looking around frantically.

zendayafan111

Larry looked at the pile of shards lying on the ground. "On second thought... we could probably just buy a new one, right? I mean, he wouldn't notice a new lamp, yeah?"

zendayafan111

maybe... i think i had seen one that looks like this one in the store.

"You think we can sneak out without him noticing?"

zendayafan111

yeah, normally Mr. Pines is sleeping or watching tv. she said as she silently walked to the door.

bauccgia0

"Alright, let's go." Larry walked out the door as quietly as he could, with Summer.

zendayafan111

When they got outside they ran to the store. Okay look for a lamp that looked like the one you broke

Larry looked around the thrift store. There appeared to be all kinds of stuff. "Woaaaah! I've never been in here. Hey, this looks cool." He picked up a journal with an eye on the back. Opening it, he found a message. "Observe, retain, document. Hey, Summer, check out this book."

zendayafan111

hm? she walked up to larry and looked at the book. wow... seems interesting.. she said while scanning the pages. you could buy it but remember find the lamp she said as she went to look for the lamp

"Yeah, I guess. Hey, who do you think brought this in? I don't recognize the handwriting." The teen walked by a shelf of Li'l Gideon merch. "I can't believe people are still buying this stuff. Especially after last week, ya know?" Larry was, of course, talking about the exposure of the "child psychic's" surveillance activities. "To tell the truth, he had me fooled. 'course, I didn't really believe he was psychic, I just thought he was lucky."

zendayafan111

Summer just shrugs and looks for the lamp. Soon a shadow came over the shop, it made a weird kawing sound. It made the shop shake and most of the stuff fell. w-what was that? she said while shivering a little

Larry, noticing the tremors, walks outside, and looks up. "Looks like it's gonna rain. Guess it was thunder, or something."

zendayafan111

Summer slowly gets up. yeah i guess, but ive never hear thunder that loud!

Larry suddenly flipped open the journal and scrawled, "Strange weather patterns, tremors in area." in a blank spot. "Excuse me, sir! You have to pay for that first!" Larry turned and saw the cashier, who looked a little peeved. "Oh, sorry. How much?"  "10 dollars, although I don't know why would buy it. Everyone else who looked at it pretty much ignored it. I thought we'd never get rid of it." Larry gave the cashier ten dollars, then ran outside. "Summer, can you look for a lamp? I gotta look into this, I think."

zendayafan111

okay... Summer was too busy to care about that book, although she was normally interested in unusual books, she didint want to get fired

Larry ran completely outside, looking upward. As it started to rain, he heard the caw again. Above him in the clouds seemed to be an enormous bird, with strange colors. It almost looked like it was a carving of some sort. "Is that...?" He looked around, and conveniently enough, nobody else was on the street. He started scribbling in the notebook. In all caps at the top, he wrote, "THUNDERBIRD", and then recorded its appearance, and its effects on the area.
