Well let me throw my hat in the ring! Here's my ponies! Or OCs. Or whatever.
Any comments or critiques welcome!

Name: Foolin'
Gender: Stallion
Race: Earth Pony
Age: Mid-20's
Birth area: Manehattan
Current residence: Ponyville (Or on the road)
Appearance: He has Green Coat with Black Mane and tail and Purple Eyes. While performing, he wears a pinstripe vest and black fedora.
Cutie Mark: Joker Card. Achieved during a talent show.
Special Talent: Telling Jokes
Abilities: Telling jokes. Shuffling cards with just hooves. Knows basic gardening. Athletic enough to do flips forwards and backwards. Knows how to box. Can act opposite his sister.
Personality: He's a kook, plain and simple. He likes making jokes whenever the opportunity presents itself. He's also fairly out-going, given his work on stage as a comedian. Oh, and he has a lazy way of talking. He claims it's a Manehattan accent.
Backstory: Born to a retired comedian and a stage director, Foolin' tried his hoof at comedy with mixed results. Still, he took it as his calling and received his cutie mark during a talent show. He traveled around Equestria as a comedian and enjoyed success as a small-time comedian.
Family: Jokin' (Father) - Also a Manehattanite by birth. Used to be a local comedian but is retired. Cutie Mark: A Pony laughing into a microphone.
Pale Gold (Mother) - A stage director still in the business. Lacks the trademark Manehattan accent as she was born elsewhere.
Magic Hour (Younger Sister)- A filly still looking for her talent.
Starshell (Agent)- Snarky agent of Foolin'. Gets him jobs local and far-off.


Name: Razzle Dazzle
Gender: Mare
Race: Unicorn
Age: 18-ish?
Birth area: Ponyville
Current residence: Ponyville
Appearance: She has a pale pink coat with a mane and tail in bright day-glo green and hot pink with green eyes. She's near-sighted and wears glasses.
Cutie Mark: Fireworks Explosion. Achieved by watching a fireworks show and improvising a fireworks spell later on.
Special Talent: Making and launching fireworks.
Abilities: Mixing explosives. Lighting fireworks. Casting spells based around sparks, explosions and loud noises. Can cast some other simple spells but they tend have a fireworks bent, Psychokinesis, Decent sketch artist.
Personality: Fairly talkative as a kid and still sorta now, she has gotten more subtle as she grew up. But given her color palette, subtlety tends to take a backseat.
Backstory:  Born to a news editor and a graphic artist, Razzle Dazzle always had a close look at the fine arts. However, it was soon realized that she could not write or draw worth a feather. She became a bit like a Cutie Mark Crusader, going here and there in a mad rush to get her cutie mark. Nothing worked until one day when she was dragged to a festival to calm her down. She had a begrudgingly good time until she saw the fireworks display at the end. She hunted down the fireworks team responsible and bombarded them with questions until her parents finally found her. She poured all her attention onto fireworks for weeks until she finally fired off a fireworks spell from her horn, earning her cutie mark from that experience.
Family: Big Scoop (Father)- Works in the newspaper business.
Ballyhoo (Mother)- Works as an graphic artist for advertisements.

Nicknames: Midget, Minute
Gender: Filly
Race: Pegasus
Age: E10+ (For Everypony 10 and up)
Birth area: Manehattan
Current residence:
Appearance: A cyan coat with a yellow mane and magenta eyes.
Cutie Mark: Blank
Special Talent: Unknown
Abilities: Camera Use. Can fly at an average speed. Can act opposite her brother. Likes to watch boxing. Knows several different accents of varying believability.
Personality: Not afraid to talk to ponies she doesn't know, she also really doesn't go as much out of her way to talk like her brother does. She likes shiny things and is still childish enough to be bribed with things like candy. She speaks naturally with her father and brother's trademark accent naturally but affects a more clear accent for other ponies. She still tends to slip though.
Backstory:  Magic Hour is the quintessential little sister. Annoying, curious, childish, cute when the adults are around, looking for a place in life and by extension, a cutie mark. She's also one of those little kids that seem to be able to get into any place, no matter how secure.
Family: Jokin' (Father) - Also a Manehattanite by birth. Used to be a local comedian but is retired.

Foolin' (Older Brother)- A travelling comedian.

Razzle Dazzle is a lot like Sparkleworks, a pony from the 3rd Generation that I like to use. I like her name, it sounds like it would really be included in the show.

And Magic Hour... I usually expect a pony's age to be a number..
