It would be really super nice if there was a teeny-tiny little checkbox in the settings somewhere to turn off the display of signatures.
They really are awful, and adblocking images 1-by-1 is a pain and still doesn't do anything about the endless repetition of useless words. Everywhere.

Please please please can we be allowed turn them off?

if you want to turn off forum signatures:

click "profile" on the upper bar
then hover "modify Profile" click "look and layout"
then there should be an empty check mark next to "Do not show other users' signatures."
check it and click "change profile"
you should get rid of the signatures on the forum

That expandable menu is not at all obvious, I'd never have got that without someone pointing it out.
