Oh geez... maybe I won't be able to go. I really don't have that kind of money.

Plus, I'm not a big fan of crowds... At all.  :c

Apparently The Simpsons began 1989... and I do see how The Simpsons being adult-oriented influenced how long it was able to run, however, I don't think that it can't happen for kid's cartoons. It is apart of American-animation culture for adult shows to be the long-runners but in Japan it seems as though the most popular shows (and I could be mistaken..) are the long-running kid's shows. (I know One Piece is technically for kids and that's gone on forever and Poke'mon seems to be eternal) So, my point is it's a matter of perspective rather than reality. Who's to say one day America can't understand that viewpoint as well? After all, SpongeBob is really pushing the limits in my book. Though, honestly, I do feel like there was a decrease in quality in SpongeBob about at season 4. Yea... The show began to just make me feel weird rather than funny and it was like there traits became their personality and it ended up feeling a little flat to me.

DUMB things that annoy me... cause there's quite some things that annoy me but it's not for a dumb reason (or would it be better to say for an illogical reason?)... Erm...  >:/
....
Ahum! I get really aggravated when I hear fake lisps and valley-girl talk.

Pokeball vivillon today~~~ ... Don't know if all y'all already knew (cause I didn't until someone told me  :I ) or don't collect vivi's (Yea, finally got all patterns >w<) but, for US anyway, the pokeball vivi pattern can be taken from wifi and closes on aug 12th  :D

I knew I'd be ecstatic if I didn't know, so I thought it'd be important to mention  x3

I slightly hope there would've been more with Button, but I'm not particularly sad.

Go out all cartoon-style and make the loudest noises but you still remain asleep until I do the quietest thing.

There are some really long running shows... I think The Simpsons is the longest running cartoon... currently on its 26th season.

I've never been to a Brony convention.... however, I'm starting to see if I can go to one in the future. I guess I'm beginning to open up  :] I went to one convention... a really really small one... of which I was dragged to go with this one friend... but one none-the-less! I don't see myself cosplaying, but I might go to one of these events one day  ^-^

Yea... I was pretty alone. But I saw those types of males more as the straight one's who hung out with groups of females. I knew quite some of those.

I'm sure Hasbro will still own it for years ad years to come XD Honestly, I can taste the 100th anniversary special.

But that's awhile down the road.

I remember on the Rescue from Midnight Castle episode, I was actually pretty surprised by how dark they were able to make the bad guy. Granted, it felt pretty flat for me, but for an 80's cartoon it did well. Plus, one episode from the original actually kinda creeped me out a bit. It was the one where the fillies lost their shadows or had them stolen. There was something eeriee about the first part.

@Cloudwilk: Don't forget, Laika studios still produces quality animation using stop Motion; films such as Coraline & Paranorman were very well received and I'm hoping Box Trolls does well, too!

@Bro1997: Oh that's a good point! G5 will most likely be animated in CGI, but I'm mainly wondering what the style & overall aesthetic of G5 will look like.

Oh and I totally forgot! They already made Sanrio-looking ponies back when they tried to market the brand in Japan way back during G1!

Ahh so cute!!

That video reminds me of the style in Moomin! Just.... as a toy.

Yea... I don't use cable or, heck, watch straight up TV. Everything I watch is through the internet (But I still do go to the library for DVD's. I also still buy DVD's for collector's sake.) I really love DVD's... So I really wish there were more video stores. Barnes and Noble is still pretty okay. I really like that place.

I consider myself a Brony as of now. I do feel as though, even though I give no content, am apart of this community. I love the fan content and have found myself eagerly awaiting of popular reviewers on youtube. At this point, this show has become a part of my life.  :P

That's another thing, I love talking-animal things. Especially animated. My favorite movie is Bambi.... and favorite book is Animal Farm. So, symbolic-animal animated features aimed towards an older kid age is right down my alley.

Psshhh... I like the dark side of MLP as well....  ovO

Ahhh.. Frank Sinatra.

Here's a good scenario: Have the brain of an adult with the heart of a child.
Yea.
That's a good way.  0:)

Absolutely. Do things that adults would like driving cars, going to work, taking care of family, having a wife, hanging out with adult friends, but at the same time do things that you also enjoyed as a child. Like playing with pony toys or watching cartoons like MLP, other childish things like collecting stuffed animals. The list goes on. BTW, keep in mind that some adults do have minds of children though. I don't really want to hurt anyone's feelings, but they tend to have the mental age of that of someone like a 5 year old or a 12 year old. As I said, don't take it offensively though.

I mentioned brain of an adult predominantly because of the maturity and understanding an adult gains about others. Sometimes, kids can be too cruel and gaining empathy happens when they're older. But yea, it's like you should strive to learn as much as you can but still be able to enjoy the simple things.
Yea, I know some adults like that. Sometimes its from a disability, sometimes its from stubbornness... I suppose.  :s

Guess it depends on how you define a girly boy. It's ironic, because my brother would always bring up MLP and I'd tease him about it, calling him 'Ponyboy.' He doesn't care for MLP seriously, so it's funny that when this show came out it switched.
Actually, I grew up around predominantly boys. Almost all my relatives (relatives my age anyways) were boys. I hung around with predominantly male groups with maybe two or three females. Until sixth, then predominantly male. Then later, eventually, no one. I guess I was always just weird  :P But when I did hang out with people (at school, of course) in Elementary, they were all pretty much pretty gender-neutral. Like, this one kid liked pretending to be a penguin and forging a nest. He'd eat leaves sometimes, too. Strangely, he was the smartest one academically of those kids. I liked rough-playing... and with my dad and brother we'd usually, well, rough-play a lot. I can also be competitive but I don't enjoy it... well, unless if I win I guess.  X3

[ Invalid YouTube link ] < Season 5 Thoughts, caution, spoilers.

I don't see MLP ending after season 5 XD SpongeBob... geez... I stopped following that one after season 4. They've really run SpongeBob dry. I feel like they'll keep doing that.

I'm really psyched about the 100th episode special.  :3
