Low glances from her to Rush, as well as all the other ponies in the restaurant.  He wanted to tell her, he wanted to tell somepony, anypony, but not here.  The last thing he wanted was a public pity party.  Looking back at Mythic, he tries on the most charming smile coupled with the most charismatic voice he could muster at the moment and says, "Oh, no, it's nothing, really.  ^-^"  Getting in character, conversation topics come into his mind, "So how long have you guys been here?"

Original Characters / Re: My OC

I like the character design and coloration, but I feel the back story could use some work.  Without any noticeable character faults, Black Hawk comes off as a sort of Mary Sue, especially with how you insinuated that he was able to pull off a sonic rainboom.  Just rework the story a little bit and add some trade-offs, and that's really all I have to say   :]

Low Key snaps himself out of his thoughts and looks over at Mythic, "Well...I guess it is, in a way."  Looking away again, he studies his hooves, again wracking his brain for something to talk about.  It was only his second day in Ponyville, and he already had two friends associates who seemed to be tolerating his presence quite well.  All he had to do was keep his mouth shut and speak only spoken to, and hopefully they may have at least something positive to say about him.

And some fanmade stuff just annoys me because they'll pay more attention to it than the real canon, and go all "this is true because someone said it" and stuff like that.

I agree and disagree with this.  While it is everyone's right to accept whatever head canon they want, I have to agree that some things are just way too out there (Shippers...They are coming for your waifus   :/

Seeing that her arm is fixed, Vigilant offers his hoof to Starlight, "Let me help you up, ma'am."
706
Back in his prime condition, Vigilant brings himself to his hooves, shaking his head once more for good measure.  He looks over to Blue for a moment before walking over to where Starlight lay, not even bothering to mumble a thank you.  As he approaches her, he stands up straight, bring his right hoof to his brow in a well-practiced salute, "You called, ma'am?"
707
Vigilant slowly raises his head and shakes it violently in an attempt to dislodge the ludicrous amount of sand that has decided to occupy his cranial orifices.  After a quick SITREP of his mouth, he found that at least one tooth was AWOL and another was beginning to regret not signing up as a molar.  Other than that, his coat felt like it was on fire, which was rather strange because he could have sworn he put it out half way through the flight.  Shakily extending a hoof, he tentatively attempts to stand, gritting in pain as his body decides it has had enough abuse and threatens to go on strike.

(( You have no idea how fun this was to type  lol ))

As Blue and Starlight are busy trying to figure out what to do about Starlight's leg, a loud whistle becomes audible, growing louder until finally a red dot can be seen up in the sky.  It glows brightly from slight deceleration before Vigilant is promptly reacquainted with the ground in a most intimate manner, coming to a stop 50 feet from the others.

The back story is interesting, however I feel it would make a good story arch for her character to want to find her origins.  Whether or not that's possible, though, you would know better than me  X3

Any idea how close to Blue and Starlight I'd be when I do crash land?   B)

Had he had the capability, Vigilant would be yelling right now.  However, the suddenness of his departure coupled with the ludicrous speed that he was travelling at now had effectively knocked the wind out of him.  Trying his best to move his legs, he grabbed hold of his arc lance and held it close, preventing the strap around his neck from strangling him.  Unable to open his eyes due to the high wind resistance, Vigilant kept them shut and braced himself for the inevitable impact.
712
Vigilant follows Tundra outside, slinging his arc caster about his neck as he prepares for the ride of his life.

wait an NCO hat can mean you will have little say in any thing if im correct

Basically, it just means that I'm a veteran and can command a small squad.  Aside from that, you're pretty much right  >:(
714
oh ok, thanks for clarifying

I've decided to give Vigilant a sort of arc caster weapon:  looks like a lance and can work like one too, but also projects magical bolts.

I also have another question:  I know Blue is in command of the military elements, but what rank is Starlight?  At most, Vigilant is a non-commissioned officer, AKA sergeant.

He disregarded the possibility of using the relocation system of Atala that the units used to get onto the ship.

Mostly because Cosmic was the one who suggested the idea  ovO

it takes several hours to get to the landmass via ship, how will you be there shortly?  o.O

Tundra has graciously offered to launch Vigilant in the general direction of the continent with the promise that he won't be squished like a pancake on impact.   8)

finally home! what have i missed?

Not much, just Vigilant being really scummy towards Cosmic.  Also, Vigilant will be joining you and Starlight shortly, as per the latter's orders.
719
Vigilant briefly glances over in Cosmic's direction, the distrust showing in his eyes, "I've had my fair share of bruises, sir; nothing that a bag of ice and mommy's kisses can't fix; fire when ready."
720
"I know how to close my eyes, sir.  With all due respect, I hope that you have a way to slow me down enough so that I don't break every bone in my body on impact."
