Sweet Celestia, I just learned math. O:

No, she was trying to add up money, and she had 3 $2 coins. She thought it equaled $5

I asked my mother this once:
"What does what mean?"
And I kept going with little words until she rage quit.  ovO
She thinks 2 x 3 = 5

Time must be frozen in the pokemon anime world... and people just "appear" into it.

Well now is it any mystery why Dialga went nuts in Mystery Dungeon?  Or perhaps Roar of Time is just pent up rage at the one being able to escape Dialga's grip?  :P

Something that started to bug me about the anime world, which I stopped religiously following some time around the Battle Frontier, was the sudden use of legendary Pokemon for ordinary trainers.  I mean that Tobias (I think that was his name) has a Latios AND Darkrai on his team!  Latios I sorta get, since my understanding is that the Eon Pokemon live in herds and are just very good at keeping themselves hidden, but a Darkrai?  How'd he find that?!

That's how I see it. Dialga's probably just letting off a little steam because time doesn't exist in the anime. But, whatever. Immortality in the anime is what happens, and nobody can give a reason everyone is going to agree to.

That is one thing that bugs me as well. Evern with latios, they're supposed to be extremely rare. And he only used two pokemon in that battle, which means he possibly had more.

While I've never done it in a game, I'll admit that I've worked out my "perfect Pokemon team" if they were real creatures, and I'd made a special point not to include legendaries of any sort in there.  So imagine my irritation when I find out some shmuck is using TWO if them!  Even worse, Latios is among my favorite Pokemon, which just felt like salt in the wound.

Also, I remember something on Pokememes a while back that had something to do with the rest of Tobias' team...I think the joke was it was all Magikarp or something.  I got a laugh out of it, but I can't find that picture again.  Oh well.

It's hard for me to put legendaries in my team, because after I get pretty far in the game my pokemon's become like ashes, like you don't want to take them out of your team and would have a hard time without them. My platinum dream team: Torterra, Rotom, Drifblim, Luxray ((I think)), some water pokemon, and the last i forgot.  I'm gonna get an emulator for platinum.  And I'll remake my team for me.

For some reason I ALWAYS felt I had to keep my starter in my party no matter what... :T
almost everyone does. I lost that in 5th gen since I didn't like any starter of that gen.

Also, if any if you do an online fight and see a pokemon called God, you are doomed. This set is a hacked, cheep and sweeping magicarp. :I when I found one in someone's team, it used sheer cold ((1 hit kill)) then fissure ((1 hit kill)) tail slap ((2-5X hit move)) and explosion.  It's item was a king's rock so that tail slap would always flinch. It cannot be defeated easily even if its a magicarp!

This is why I don't battle online, other than the fact that I can't get wi-fi on my DS. Planning to, though!

I always have my starter in my team except in some rare cases. I also have my favourite pokemon which I've had for a long time now traded into my team when I get a new game.

Another thing that bugs me is the fact that you usually MUST have HMs to be able to progress in the game, while in the anime they don't need them at all. It's just so evil.

once I said that snakes are just tails with heads.

But that makes sense.

I think this is the first time ever i've ever seen anypony use the word "sense" and a quote from madness in the same post!

Speaking of pony, although i haven't done it yet, i'm waiting for the day i accidentally say anypony, or everypony, instead of anybody/everybody irl....

I do it on a regular basis! Lucky for me, no one's around when I do. And even if they were, they don't speak English, like I do. :]

I do that all the time, even when people are around, unconsciously. It's one of my "bad habits".

It's so cool! Great to see it!

Yes, I'm sitting on my waiting rock.

*Joins the waiting party* Can't wait to see the end result!

There's actually a theory floating around.

Legend has it that if you see Ho-Oh, you are guaranteed eternal happiness. Ash saw Ho-Oh extremely early in the series in season 1 (I guess they decided to use that pokemon's design later or the design was leaked?).

The theory is that Ash finds so much happiness in being a pokemon trainer that the eternal happiness he was granted was immortality at the age of 10 so that he can continue traveling and being a pokemon trainer.

That theory may be why he has such a good Pokemon career but if the other part was true his mom and prof oak would not be there anymore.  o_o And Brock and Misty would be gone as well and they make appearances in multiple seasons even ones they aren't main friends in.

I think he saw Ho-OH in season 1 episode 1 right after Pikachu saved him from the crazy flock of Spearow. (Or at the beginning of episode 2 they even call it a rare Pokemon in episode 2.

At least that fan theory isn't as crazy as the coma one though which still creeps me out.  ovO

that theory works, but it still is weird

"Hi! I'm Ash Ketchum, a Pokemon trainer! ^-^ "
"How old are you, Ash?"
"Ten years old! ^-^ "
"How long have you been catching Pokemon?"
"15 YEARS! >:O "
lol

I just realized something... The prof. of the Sinnoh region once said he and Dawn went to the Kanto region in some point, and in the S.S. Anne of FR/LG there is a double battle with a lass named Dawn with a old man. Since Rowan is not the first name of the prof..... :I Clever Gamefreak is clever.

O:

They are quite sneaky... I never knew that before.

Yes, litwick consumes human's life force... that's really creepy. And yet, trainers train them. It's evolutions are no better. Lampent arrives near the moment of someone's death to steal the spirit from the body, and Chandelure absorbs a spirit and then burns it, and puts its foes in a hypnotic trance.

And you indefinitely don't want to disown a doll in the pokemon world... unless you want to be hunted....

That's why you always need stealth rocks. negates all those sturdy and focus sash as soon as the pokemon enters. And if you have a ghost type in your team, make it learn Will-o-wisp/toxic ((toxic would be better if the enemy changes for a tank like vaporeon or Waillord but cannot be used if the target is Steal))

Speaking of ghost type... Here's some scary facts coming from some pokedex entry=
Dusklups- it's inside is a black hole. If you touch one, you get pulled in and never get out.
Dusknoir- it will bring humans with him underground and they never come back.
The evolution before cofagrigus- is actually a human. The mask on its tail is a human's face.
Hypno- will hypnoze kids to make them see candies and stuff and he brings them somewhere... Those who where victims of that never returned...
Driftblim- because of its balloon form, kids will grab its rope (aka feet) and bring them up high, and never gets back down.
Beautifly- in the pokedex, it says that it's a friendly butterfly. In the card game, it has an aggressive nature and sting humans to absorb its fluids.
For those who absorb human's fluid, there are like 3 others.
Cubone- you know about cubone. Well, the origin of the bones that he use are is mother's bones.
And I know I am missing a lot

Game freak, why does your kid game contains so much horror?

* The evolution before Cofagrigus is yamask

There are a lot of creepy entries in pokemon. And for a few, it tells that some pokemon eat other pokemon, meaning that some battles are more brutal than they are pictured, and become more of a survival match more than a fun match against friends. The ghost types almost always have the creepiest pokedex entries.

I know, sorry.  :c Endevour was that one move I really hated every day in pokemon, due to my hard-hitting pokemon.

Probably also in Singapore, if there's anyone silly enough to do that.

Here too, I'm sure there's someone silly enough to do that. lol

How'd ya find my sand man?  O:

It doesn't matter! I'll be happy to see a very nice gift!
136
That's the only flaw to this... if the other pokemon you're facing is a ground, rock or steel type, this method would not work.
137
This is going to be great!

Yay
138
I got it today. I'm DipsyDye for everyone!

how in pokemon myster dungeon explorers of sky (or any explorers of) darkrai simply hits you in a time hole and you lose memory and turn into a pokemon.  That makes no sense at all to me.

It is weird how that happens in the game. Unless arceus or some power which can turn you into a pokemon is doing something to you while you're unconscious through time.

arceus technically doesn't exist in mystery dungeon.

We don't see it, though. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Dialga made a supposed reference to arceus or another higher power of pokemon in the last special episode in Explorers of Sky.

I'm gonna write. And write and write and write. And take pictures. Of art. And change a lot about myself. And finish next year's school even better than this one's.
