Finally checked out the trailer.
Here's what I imagine:
"Alright, now that Black2/White2 is out to win the fans back, we need to catch up and make something for the 3DS. *Writes "Pokemon X and Pokemon Y" on a board* Following the usual formula, what should we name the new games?"
"*Stares at the board* ...... How about Pokemon X.. and Pokemon Y."
".... Go on."
"Because... one of the legendaries... is shaped like a Y. And the other... has x's in its eyes?"
"Brilliant!"

No, but seriously, the game looks pretty good. I hope I have enough money to get it when it comes out.
I like fennekin, and I want it. I can't believe they made a fennec fox pokemon, and it's a starter!

By the way, I have seen a rumor about a Pokemon movie/mini-movie that contains slight possible clues to it maybe perhaps having a chance of showing a new Eeveelution. But it's just fan speculation based on an ad poster.

Actually, the other legendary has a X shaped chest... WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY KNOW!?! .....Since when did you get Public Relations?

It's actually because of y-axis , and x-axis.
Perhaps its because of the alphabet making Z the possible sister game.

I'm pretty sure it isn't based on the alphabet. But I think there will be a Z sister game, since there is also a Z axis.

I noticed that a while ago too... but all people notice that's related to X is that glint in its eyes.

It might be a Z, or it might be like pokemon black 2 and white 2,  with a second of both of them happening. Pokemon Z sounds cool, though.

Are there gonna be new types? I'm still waiting on a Holy/Light type pokemon.

I have no idea on that but I doubt that they'll add any new types. I've always hoped for a light type one day though!

Sounds really interesting. Now I'm glad I got a 3DS for Christmas. I really wonder about that line too, especially with the talk of a new battle structure. It seems this game is going to be a real change from generation 5.

How do you do that?

There was an event somewhere, and I think it was Pokemon Red/Blue. Or Crystal and Silver and Gold. IDK.
Anyway, the event gave the people a pikachu that knew surf, and when you surfed with it it shows a pikachu with a surfboard sprite.

I have no memory of how it was done, but it was in Pokemon Yellow, when all the major focus was on Pikachu.  Bringing said Pikachu to the lone house off Route 19 would let you play a small minigame.  As far as I know you could transfer the surfing Pikachu to Gen 2 games and it'd still show a different sprite when surfing, but I don't think it did anything else.  And in recent games there's been the possibility of getting a Pikachu that can learn Surf or Fly, but they're hard to find. 

Exactly. It was cool watching pikachu surf though!

Rhydon (rock/ground type) also learn surf. He also uses it in the anime. I don't even.

Notice how he loses all his Pokémon every series? It's because it's a different Ash every time, which is why he's always 10.

The pokerus virus is kinda like a kid which is grateful not to go to school thanks to being sick. It just happens to make it a benefit. It's odd that it just doesn't have any negatives. Maybe there's hidden bad things about pokerus.

It begins Friday, 8PM EST. Since a lot of people will read it tomorrow. The title somewhat fits.
