The problem is that healthy food in America is substantially more expensive than then garbage food. Having enough money to pay for that is not a matter of willpower, as popular as that opinion might be.
What is needed it cheap, decent quality, basic foods. Vegetables, rice, potatoes, etc. Cheap vegetables in the US hardly seem to qualify as plant life, much less food. It simply refuses to rot. Bacteria don't even want the stuff.

[spoiler]Quote from: Midnight Breeze on 2014 Dec 24, 00:10:55yeah moving the smash series was a big problem for me cause i always wanted to play as Red but still haven't i kinda want a Wii for that and some Naruto games i recently learned about but i'm kinda focused on the oculus rift and getting that well getting games for the systems i already have like the ps3,ps2,gamecube,gameboy,psp,Ds Lite
Nintendo - Good games, bad consoles. I hate the idea of having to buy a Wii U just to experience Nintendo's big name series like Zelda and Mario, which they release exclusively for their consoles. I bought a Wii back in 2007 and regretted it. I only got 2 games during its lifespan - Twilight Princess and Brawl, they were the only games that interested me. Other than that it just served as a glorified Netflix accessor. I'd have been better off with an Xbox 360.
I ain't buying a Wii U, which means I'll be missing out on Nintendos big titles this generation. It's not worth spending hundreds of dollars just to experience 2 or 3 good games. I'm getting an Xbox One this time. I had a Playstation during the 5th generation, a PS2 during the 6th generation, and a Wii during the 7th generation; so this will be my first ever Xbox console. I've been exclusively a PC gamer since the mid 2000s, but there's just too many good games that either aren't available for PC or are just crappy 5 second ports.
and speaking of "WiiU" i know someone who badgers me to get that instead of the Wii![]()
I also learned about the re-wiring process when you need to repair broken cables.
Quote from: Chishio Kunrin on 2014 Dec 12, 08:23:53Spoiler: showMy mom's laptop is doing this weird thing that mine isn't doing, and we can't figure out what's going on.
Before anyone says anything: No, it is NOT Sticky Keys. We've checked. We know it's not Sticky Keys. Do not suggest that it is. Besides, Sticky Keys does a completely different sound.
Sometimes, when she presses the shift key, her laptop does a loud BWEE-OOP noise at her.
Sticky Keys usually does a BWAP (what I actually describe as a quack) noise, not a BWEE-OOP noise. And she has already tried turning off Sticky Keys and whatnot. It's definitely not that.
Whenever she searches the internet for a solution, she finds other people who're having the same problem as her. Unfortunately, those people are met with a bunch of people saying "It's Sticky Keys" even if they put in the opening post that IT IS NOT. They'll even reply to the topic saying they've tried everything those people have suggested and, like they said before, it is not Sticky Keys. But the other people refuse to listen and keep saying "No, you just have no idea what you're doing. It's Sticky Keys."
It's not.

By the way, I'm near-sighted, meaning things that are closer are clear and things that are farther are blurry. Some people have the reverse of that, which I think is called far-sighted.
With my near-sightedness, I definitely should never be behind the wheel of a car without my glasses. It'd be hard to define where exactly the lines on the road are and impossible to read the speed limit signs.
That's what I get for typing while tired though.Quote from: Chishio Kunrin on 2014 Nov 16, 08:15:52
Yeahhh, Cryaotic's livestreaming an anime video game that has the option to have Japanese audio with English subtitles. He tried both dubbed and subbed, and he said he liked the dubbed better. There were people protesting in the chat.
I get impatient and say things without checking for any issues.
