Indeed. Wind, bullet drop, distance, height from target, rifle specifications etc etc.
It's a lot more than just firing a gun at HVT's though. It's also a lot about reconnaissance and providing intelligence to your squad.

Oh wow. Well, I'm not sure if there is a specific eyesight requirement, but I'm sure having good vision is beneficial.
And I've always wanted to be in some kind of recon unit. A Sniper to be exact. I've researched a bit on the subject, and it's a lot of work. But it's still something that really amazes me.

I've thought about it a few times, but it's extremely annoying that if you leave the topic even for an hour or to go to bed, it will advance so many pages it's insanely difficult to catch up. One of the main reasons why I left the Pinkie'd RP. I much more prefer Real-Time RP. I am not sure if anyone here plays Warcraft 3, but one of these 2-4 hour RP maps is where I'm at. Everyone starts at the same point, and everyone stays more or less together throughout.
So unless there's some mythical voodoo technique to be a good RP'er on the forums, I'm really not eager to start.
Titan land is the best map ever. Warcraft 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time, if Blizzard announce Warcraft 4, I´m going to pass out from excitement.
Brohoof. And I also play LoaP and Fantasy Life on occasions. As for W4...Doubt it'll come out anytime soon, unfortunately. SC2 is still a major moneymaker w/ almost no competition for Blizz, WoW isn't doing too badly either. They really have no reason to spend money to make that game. But I would be preordering it for sure if it ever would come out.
