Tundra didn't even seem to notice that the entire place was shaking until it made his stacks of notes start falling over, drawing out a sigh from the earth pony as he saw this and reshuffled his notes before walking out into the hallway and looking around, somewhat worried over the source of the shaking.

Can't recall seeing a being like that on the show, then again it ran at an ungodly time in the morning and later during the day while school was still running, so I missed a LOT of episodes.

((I use italics, this kind of text to show he is using the mental connection to say something., and as a rune mage he isn't unknown to complicated matrixes since he is a fairly high-ranked one, so it shouldn't be required but would still help a bit for him to get some matrix information from the books up there, don't forget they are likely quite old and magic can have advanced a fair bit since the city was lost.))

Tundra continued to study the complex matrix in whatever ways he could think of, almost emitting a rather uncharacteristic squee a few times as he couldn't help but feel excited about learning more about the matrix and learn from it, the only thing keeping him from practically isolating him with the notes being the nagging thought about the errors mentioned earlier and if anything in the massively complex matrix was to blame.

(Essentially he's looking for anything to do with conciousness, soul, mind or similar in the matrix, though with the complexity of the thing it'll probably take him a while to discover anything revealing so no need to reveal earlier than you feel like him suddenly noticing it.)

Humm, perhaps a sort of one-time portal for emergencies? Ancient one maybe that has degraded partially, could probably have been aimed for somewhere on equis but instead drop her off into the library or something. Just grasping at straws for reasoning really.

Also Tundra is probably getting really excited over something this complex to work on, what he's doing right now is basically testing each little part as best as he can to find out what each little thing does, maybe starting with combining them after that to see if what they do changes.

Tundra smirked and gave a nonchelant wave as Blue and Cosmic left for the third floor of the library, quickly sending a thought of confirmation through the telepathic link, not even bothering to shape it up as words as he sorted his language notes a bit into a more manageable pile for anyone to read, then he went back to studying the notes he'd made on that complicated matrix, fascinated by it as he worked on figuring out just what each little section of the matrix did both from memory and replicating the tiny portions on paper before activating them.

Tundra just continued to pour over his notes while the AI talked, the only indication that he was listening being his ear swiveling towards the AI. At this point he was about as far as he could get with his language studies without higher clearances for the library, the AI's mention of that it could give a chance to cheat made him chuckle though. "Heh, at this point it's more about getting the opportunity to prove so..."

Hmm, you remind me of another RPer I know of, anyways try not to be as nervous, if you have to drop out of an RP for whatever reason then people will find some way to tune your character out of the story like Atlis earlier.

Mmm, Maple, you might wanna work with how muc content you put into your posts, haven't seen much of them but you are incredibly vague as to what your character does, how he feels and such. Sadly you being so far from the rest of us when it comes to timezone also is a bit of an issue.

Hehe, one of those things would be useful, particularly for Tundra since he could basically do whatever the heck he wants with it whenever he wants by adding in runes and matrixes. Would likely get on his nerves though/explode because of his volatile magic.

Tundra continued studying his notes about the matrix relentlessly, enamored with how advanced it was and how itmelded different kinds of magic, he still listened in on what happened though, used to multitasking like this. "Yes there are several runes related to control, though the ones related to direct physical or mental control over others are extremely complex and require vast amounts of power if used for prolonged periods as it contends directly with the magical power of the victim. And the device should be no problem, I might be able to improve upon some of the runes already in it while I add in the ones you want." He again said telepathically while listening to the conversation. "So you judge by character rather than knowledge or power? Makes sense I guess." He said out loud, his musings more directed at the AI.

Tundra was amazed by the complexity of the matrix, with so many forms of spells used in it he had difficulties even recognizing part of it due to it's complexity, he quickly rushed to his notes and scribbled down a description of the spell matrix, making a pencil practically catch fire twice while doing so before he finished writing. Anyways Blue should be safe for now, there's no hidden magical storage in it, we should stay clear of any punishments by the AI though as it might use that as an excuse to get one on us. Tundra is more the Rune magic specialist, if someone wants to take the spot of magic specialist I wouldn't mind, Tundra knows a lot about magic but is mostly focused around runes in particular.

Tundra waited for Cosmic to finish before he started, drawing a rune seemingly in the air right next to the bracelet, activating the scanning rune to try to detect any magical constructions or spells that were on it.

Tundra looked up from his mass of notes and at the strange bracelet, looking at it for a moment before getting up and trotting closer to Blue, a small rune lighting up under his cloak as he put a thin barrier around his legs just in case Blue would try to put it on him by surprise, safe to say he was a bit paranoid towards it. "Not a clue, looks like some sort of device using magic or somesuch and the crystal is either a catalyst or used to connect to something." He replied while looking at the thing, tossing a telepathic note to Cosmic."Don't touch it and don't let Blue get too close with it, better safe than sorry."
