True though that may be, she doesn't have a publicly-known name, aside from "Button's Mom". I see no harm in adding a more name-like nickname to her, which can easily be put out of use by Jan if he decides to give a say about it - if this becomes big enough for that to happen in the first place.
And as MrEmu said, it would have been much better to explain your view beforehand, in your first post, rather than just giving a rather harsh "No".

I'll go on record and state that the reason I dislike alicorn OCs is because most people who've made alicorn OCs, in my experience, have done so really, really poorly. Making an OC an alicorn strikes me as an attempt by its creator to make the character seem cool, or unique, or whatever, when to me, it just makes it look Sue-ish and unoriginal.
That said: well-made alicorn OCs, with well-written backstories that justify their being an alicorn and are believable, along with realistic limits to their power, are perfectly fine by me; I actually like them more because they break that mold of Alicorn Sue characters.

I've taught myself to play the trumpet, guitar, and piano fairly well (though I've got a ways to go on the piano until I can play two-handed).
Funny story about the trumpet part - I was originally a third-chair trumpet for years in my school band, and while I wasn't happy about that, I didn't do much about it. Then, just a couple years ago, we had a piece with a trumpet solo, one which our first-chair trumpets couldn't play. So, I learned glanced at their music once or twice to learn the basic note structure, then learned to play it by ear. Then, I belted it out during a practice session, surprised everyone, and earned myself a round of applause. Not content with that, I memorized the entire first-chair trumpet part for the entire concert lineup and backed them up - we were a pretty weak section.
The next year, I became the trumpet section leader, and helped lead the band to its first county-wide band festival victory - with perfect scores, no less - and subsequent state-wide festival appearance in over a decade. And it could only have been better if I graduated right after that...
Oh! Right, I did! Heck of a way to end a school band career, if you ask me.

I also taught myself some basic visual, graphic art with Paint.NET, some XML (that's a kind of code) and Lua (another kind of code), and made myself a Civilization V mod. It adds another playable Civilization, inspired by Fire Emblem: Awakening.

It's still not completely done, since the only thing that needs doing is complicated 3D modelling, but over 1,000 people have downloaded it and they say it's pretty okay. I also followed it up with a religion and am making another Civ to go along with it.
I'd be prouder of more things if a critical friend of mine wasn't so intent on picking out the flaws in my creative works, which is, incidentally, the main reason I don't create things anymore.
I hope I didn't go overboard with this I don't want to sound conceited

I picked it back up for the first time in months today.
It is much too different than how it was when I was a kid. Too many rewards minigames (that you can only really play as a member, and/or with microtransactions) and even less non-members content than before (comparatively).
They still say it's free to play, and it technically is, but you can only do about 1% of anything as a non-member. Compared to the 5-ish% you could do about 8 or 9 years ago, when I started.
And the new UI layout is confusing to me. I don't know where all the buttons are.
Runescape 2 was the best Runescape.

Well, first the universe would have to pick a pony for me to be, since I haven't decided which pone is best pone (though I have eliminated a few from the list).
Then I'd have to know if I was on Earth or Equestria, and if it's the latter, if I'm simply the actual pony I was turned into, or just a copy (and the real one is also in Equestria).
If I'm on Earth, then I'm in a very bad, embarassing situation, and I'd likely hide in my closet for a good eternity.
If I'm on Equestria, I'd seek Twilight and/or Celestia to help sort the whole thing out. Because they'd believe me if I said I was actually a human who got transported to Equestria and put inside the body of a pony/transformed into a copy of a pony, right?
Standard body-switching shenanigans occur, with situation specificity based on which pony I am and whether or not I'm a copy. Also, I'd probably try to meet a lot of the ponies and have a look around Equestria.

Too many people bash earth ponies for being "bland", "boring", "un-special", et cetera, and that makes them "inferior" to pegasi and unicorns, apparently (despite their own natural advantages being pointed out in Hearth's Warming Eve). It's pretty infuriating sometimes. Not enough people recognize pony race equality amidst the crowd of pegasus and/or unicorn supremacists; in fact, almost nobody does, it seems.
