Please, do not say yourselves bad!
Cheer up, my good friends, and do not stay sad.
Julius, you even rhyme better than some
Of the ponies in my English class, don't be glum!

Being able to rhyme does not mean you are smart.
Star, I mean that, so don't fall apart!
If singing is both of your trades, so be it!
You work on your talent, the ones you commit.

In fact, poetry is not my favorite skill.
I like to draw art until I may fall ill.
Become who you are surely destined to be;
Establish your goal and then set yourself free!

As for the riddle, I'll let someone else say.
If I get it right, where's the fun anyway?
I am not saying I know the solution,
I just want others to feel revolution.

My rhymes good are not,
My words may not flow,
But I want to know...
Is the answer fire?
Or is it something more... Dire?

(Hey, not too bad for a first time, right?)

You answer correctly, my fine, feathered friend!
Though I'm not good making riddles, I will commend.
Perhaps there is somepony with much higher wit
To puzzle our minds to which we see fit.

We don't always have to be
Filled with originality
There are quite a few
traditional riddles that will do

This next one is not mine
but it is still a fine
Puzzle to try to win
It's simple... now begin!

Spoiler: Riddle • show

Spoiler: Main • show

Only one colour, but not in size
Stuck at the bottom yet easily flies
Present in sun, but not in rain
Doing no harm, feeling no pain.

Spoiler: Alternate • show

The part of the bird that is not in the sky,
Which can swim in the ocean and always stay dry.
What am I?

The solution is the same
In this puzzling game...

I've already seen this riddle, I'm afraid.
A shadow the answer, not much time delayed.
That's the risk when the riddle's been done:
The answer is given and the rest have no fun.

Let's try some where the answer is less known;
With our bright minds, we can come up on our own.

Spoiler: Riddle • show

The message of power and light I give off,
I show a warm welcome, though some might just cough.
I dance around with so much passion to share
That some will have fear with me just being there.

I've fought in wars and sat back at the house,
I can destroy much at the size of a mouse.
If under control, I can comfort your souls.
If you anger me, there are unpayable tolls.

On topic: CoD players who compare CoD to any other game and say it's better, especially if it's not a shooter. :l
Just to clarify, I like CoD, I just hate the fans of CoD.

Exactly! And I also think it's annoying that many of the CoD players think they know everything about guns and war after they play for a while.

I live in Florida, it never snows. We have inclosed ice skating rinks. One time, I slipped on my skiis and was COMPLETELY horizontal in the air and landed on my hip. It hurt so bad for weeks. lol
Also when I fell, I curled up on the ice so my legs and arms weren't out to get sliced or tripped over.

Sliced arm: do not want. XD I'd still go ice skating, though.

I don't think a beard would look good on me (even though I still got peach-fuzz).
Maybe a nice, clean mustache...

It almost never snows where I live. I'm not complaining, cause I don't much like the cold. I really want to go ice skating somewhere, though.. Or skiing.

I don't like it when I'm playing a multiplayer game and a child who is obviously too young to play said game has a mic and is screaming or complaining constantly through it.

We try to love and tolerate,
And not give in to fear and hate,
But even bronies can at times
Be mean both in and out of rhymes.

But we will try to do our best
To never raise above the rest
One or another, for we all
Are ponies who can also fall.

None of us are perfect, no.
Wherever each of us might go,
There will be times when we will fail,
So let us not at others wail!

Some don't accept failure so easily,
To fail, for them, ruins thier destiny.
They condemn theselves and wallow in guilt
For they cannot take the sword by the hilt.

Perfection, what some may drive for, is naught.
Perfection is what us ponies are not.
Perfection skews the idea we're equal.
Perfection wont let some stay for the sequal.

Perhaps it's perfection that drives ponies mad
When opinions they don't agree on are had.
They stomp on ideas they think that have flaws;
Eliminate them by their cruelness and laws.

It's true that some bronies can't live to the task
Of love and compassion, so they wear a mask.
But perfection is lies, so throw off the act.
Life is not easy, and that is a true fact.

My procrastination on important school projects. Seriously, I need to get on the ball with my work.

Be open-minded, Magus states.
The way we have will change our fates.
However, why can't others see
What we think or how we agree?

We conjure up ideas and such
To share them and appeal as much,
But others may want to shoot down
These same ideas and steal the crown.

Agression, oppression, tyranny too
Is caused by views that can askew
Their open-mindedness, you see.
It causes some to run and flee.

Unfortunately, they can't change their mind,
Their poor quality, or their way unkind.
Set the example for them, bronies must
To turn that idealism into dust.

The World War Z movie is going to be nothing like the book, the producer turned it into a common zombie apocalypse movie  :l

Figured as much. Movies are almost never like the book.

There was a person at my workplace that was fired the day he was hired. How...
There was also this one time in my geography class we were watching "The Day After Tomorrow". (If you don't know, it's kind of an apocalyptic movie) Somebody asked if it was a true story. I nearly dented my desk with my head.

Someone who saw the trailer for World War Z asked if it was a true story. *Facehoof*

If you don't know what World War Z is, it's the movie version of the book World War Z, which takes place after a zombie pandemic. The United Nations wants to cover it up and pretend it never happened, but one guy says they need to remember that it happened, so he's going around the world, interviewing people about their experiences with it and collecting their stories into a book.

With each story, you're able to put the pieces together as to how it started and how it spread. I think the first story you read is a doctor's contact with victims 1 through 5, then his contact with victim 0.

I really need to finish that book. :l I knew they were making a movie of it, but I forgot.

Oh, good Lord. How do these people come to the conclusion that these are true stories? It's like they're as dumb as a brick.
Hey, and a brick is a feat of engineering. Good Lord, they're dumber than bricks.

^ I'd file those two "is this a true story?" questions under Today's Smile, not this topic.  lol

This.  lol But I got a headache when it happened to me. >:/

I had me some roast, broccoli casserole, and some bread rolls. Oh, and a bit of duck. I thought of Daffy Duck when I was eating it.  lol

I'm quite glad too that this topic's alive
I thought it was dead, but now new rhymes can thrive.

Now anyway, I have to come clean:
there's something that irks me about this scene
This thread tends to be all poetic and elegant
Making mere prose seem dull and irrelevant
Yet always I struggle to keep in mind
That it's for poem-type rhymes, not the rappin' kind.
I stick to good form, but all the while
I'm thinking "man, this is cramping my style."

That may be true, but you musn't forget
The elegance of the words been set.
I am happy as well, that this thread now lives
And to be in a group that loves and forgives.

I'm glad indeed, to see that there
Are ponies new who rhyme so fair!
An honor 'tis to have you write
Your verses here with words so bright!

Magus, you flatter me with all your wit.
Your rhymes are superior, I shall admit,
For I have read your writing and style.
Impressed me, you have. That's no easy trial.

I watch episodes on livestream. Then, if my family interrupts or the livestream lags ever so horribly (and both happen too often), I watch the episode again on Youtube later on. If I'm really lucky, I watch epiodes on the Hub channel.

I might start rolling around in the streets, but I don't wanna get rolled over by a carraige or stepped on.
I dunno, I might figure out how to draw with my mouth and sell my artwork for a profit.  -.-
