Having PSR (photic sneeze reflex). Whenever my eyes are exposed to bright lights, I sneeze in chains/multiples of 3-6. Almost everytime, I get a headache from it.

I know that feeling.

I was given the task of drawing the picture of a soldier who just came back from overseas on a large "welcome back" card. Took me about an hour and a half, and it looked pretty good.
Once the card was given to the soldier, he had a really surprised look on his face. He couldn't stop staring at my drawing! He was blown away because of how it looked.
He came up to me and said, "I have something to give to you." He then handed me his Battalion Coin. That's a big deal.
A battalion coin is an award given to a soldier who has done an excellent job, for those of you who don't know. Not just any soldier gets one. And most people that DO get one aren't exactly willing to give them away.
I feel so honored! I guess I surprised him, and he surprised me back! I will definitely treasure that coin.

Also, I got me a sweet new usb mic for Christmas! Came with a shock mount, pop filter, and desk stand!

Flee the city folk from this,
But welcomed by a farmer's kiss?
For city folk, it is their bane,
But farmers, they will thank the rain!

From sky to ground the rain shall pass,
It comes to grow the plants and grass.
A farmer loves this benifit!
But others, they don't want to get!

Hunger is it, my good Chack?
A pony, if he food does lack,
Will quickly lose his body's strength,
And cannot walk for a good length.

Three times a day does hunger call,
It strikes the core and lingers on.
And though we think ourselves as free,
It owns our flank, oh yes siree.

You got it right, hunger it is!
Hunger puts us on the frizz.
This one's been dealt with so quickly.
Anyone else have a mystery?

When characters curse in games. I don't mind cursing that much, but it's so unnatural when a game character does it.

I feel odd when they curse... I don't like cursing...

then you guys are not fit to play the prototype and gta games then

It's not that I can't stand it, it just doesn't sound natural when it comes out.
Besides, GTA and Prototype really aren't games that interest me.

I have finally found the joys of sticky jumping in Team Fortress 2. It's so much fun! :D

Rocket jumping's another matter. Not quite got the hang of that yet :s

Rocket jumping takes a lot of practice. But once you get the hang of it, you're pretty much unstoppable.
I still have yet to master it...

I started using charcoal in my artwork, and I'm loving it! It's pretty forgiving compared to graphite.

Charcoal is really awesome, try soft pastels too.
I also recently discovered that water colors are awesome too. Look what I drew with them:
Spoiler: I don't wanna brag but I think it looks awesome • show

I'll definitely look into it. I've done oil pastels before, but I didn't like it so much.
I also need to try watercolor. I hear from a bunch of people that it's pretty difficult to work with, but the results are amazing.

We may be few, but we are strong!
That's what makes this thread last long.
We rhyme away, and riddle too!
I see it great that we pull through.

Speaking of the riddles now,
I'll make one to furrow the brow.

Strike the core, and linger on!
I have you now as my own pawn!
I knock the door three times a day,
Dont' forget, I'm in the way!
For if you do not answer me,
I'll rid your house of energy.

Charcoal is fun to work with, but it's ridiculous to get out of my fingers. D:

actully im not even 14 i play rated M games but i never EVER play games with sexuality in them my eyes would melt if i do  o_O

It's just pixels... It's not going to make your eyes melt, you'll just be mildly embarrassed or something and continue playing along. :P

I don't even get why they need to put that element into video games. Sure, it's to keep people interested just as violence is, but it's not as emphasized and you're gonna forget about it after a while.

When I want to do pixel art, but I don't have the patience to finish. I don't get it, I have the patience to finish any other piece of art...

gosh you must be a really really dumb idiotic parent to buy your 8 year old son/daughter cod

Exactly. Did they just ignore the Rated M on the box? Also, when they buy the game with their kid next to them, it's required that the store employees tell them, "Sir, this is a rated M game and its contents may be inappropriate. Are you sure you want to purchase this game for your child?" And then they reply yes.

You know, I didn't start playing Rated M games until I was 16. My parents were smart enough to keep it that way.
Anyone under that age really shouldn't be playing them. They should be watching ponies.  ;)

A lesson in world geography: There is no continent called 'America'. There is North America and South America, collectively referred to as The Americas. The singular America refers SOLELY the the USA; as the word American refers solely to a citizen of said country.

Could the rest of the world kindly strop getting so worked up about such a trivial issue? We do no call ourselves Americans out of elitism like non-Americans so desperately try to claim. We call ourselves Americans because we are the United States of America, not 'The United States that happens to be situated in North America'. It is the name of our country.

But hey, when the whole world is ready to start calling us 'United States of America-ians' I'm game.

THANK YOU.

But these games aren't exactly "realistic". Sure, you got nice graphics, but these games are far from realistic.

Also! Congratulations to Ryo for being brave enough to admit he likes ponies to his mom, not all of us are capable of doing such a feat just yet! Good job man! :]

Still dont think it all quite processed but I have the feeling it will be soon forgoten

To be honest, I had avoided any sort of conversation like that. I think my mother knows now (cause I wear a DJ PON3 shirt). She was really confused at first. I didn't tell her what it was from, but a mother has her ways. She did question it a bit, but she isn't really against the idea of me wearing that shirt.

Props to you for having guts, though!

I'm awful at aiming. Anytime I go sniper in TF2, no matter how much I practice, I'm just terrible at it. Why can't I get any better...?
Playing around with the bow and arrow in a Zelda game might help?

That might work if I had any Zelda games.
