Hey there! LoE isn't quite out yet - It's still in Pre-Alpha and won't be permanently available to the public for a while. However, there WILL be an Open Server Weekend, where everyone will be able to play the game for that weekend, from the 8th to 10th of August. Be sure to look forward to that 

Anyway, if you have any questions, you can always ask one of the mods around here. And, by the way, welcome

I don't understand why Cinder Brimstone would ever be called Tinder Sulfur  . Or why she'd hate being called that, for that matter. Could there be some reason behind that in her backstory? 

As for her personality, when you say "doesn't like to walk in the open", I can just imagine her moving through the shadows like some ninja  that's probably what you weren't going for i'm so sorry
I think it'd be nice if you expanded more on her personality, it seems a tiiiny bit shallow at the moment 

Anyways, I like how she is right now, but I think I'd like her more if I knew her history, like if there's some underlying reason behind her personality (unless she's just born like that). Then again, backstories aren't really a necessity, but they're nice and all 

One last thing, sorry if I offended you in any way throughout this post

Um, just a few questions. How is an Earth Pony able to control wind, light, and lightning? I mean, controlling the earth is understandable, I suppose there is some form of Earth Pony magic for that area, but... I just don't understand how he can do the rest of it. You say he was born with it, but that just seems like some cheap way to give him super powers to me. No offense...

And did he just leave his unconscious mom alone to go out and adventure? Or did he put her in the care of someone else?

I also find it a bit odd that he's adventurous, yet shy. Usually, shy ponies would have low confidence and wouldn't dare to go out into the woods, or anywhere beyond their comfort zone for that matter. Could you explain that part?

Anyways, I'd actually expect ponies to find whirlwinds more towards the "terrifiying" side than the "fun" side

Now, I don't know about anyone else, but species hybrids have always irked me. I mean, we don't know if they're possible in the show, so that kind of decreases how much we can believe that this OC can exist in Equestria. Though, I guess Equestria is already a really magical place to begin with, so lets just assume species hybrids are possible for now.

As stated by the others, not knowing her parents is quite a common trait among OCs, to the point that it seems a little cliche. Maybe you could change that part to be more original, but there's nothing wrong with it, really.

I don't really understand your 'Rainbow Dash but calmer' personality. So you mean she's cocky and easily annoyed, yet calm? Then again, maybe I don't understand it because I don't understand RD's personality in the first place. Maybe you could elaborate in words?

I'm not sure what I feel about Necro Mane threatening Equestria and such, but that's for story critics to critique I guess.

On the bright side, I really like her design, and I think she can definitely be a great character, the only real problem I see is her being a species hybrid.

His name is Crescent Sparkle, but he resembles a G1 pony called Night Light.

Not to be mean or anything but I agree with Tiger, It just seems like you're trying to hard to make him stand out... the best way to stand out is to NOT try to stand out, Vally wave, Crab Apple, Vesperal Veil, Dream bolt, they all seem like normal ponies, but I remember them most OC's due to the fact of how well I feel they'd fit in the show.

Well said, well said. The reason that OCs that don't stand out stand out and OCs that stand out don't is because most people try to make their OCs stand out, and it becomes the norm. Things that are apart from the norm stand out, which in this case, would be not standing out.

I don't know if that made sense

And nopony said windigos could do that either. It's like saying that pegasi can cause earthquakes just because 'nopony said pegasi couldn't do that'.

Also, if the exorcist 'messed up' in separating the windigo from North Wind, how does that explain why North Wind obtained windigo powers, while not becoming half-windigo and having to feed off fighting and hatred? I think you may need to elaborate on how things went wrong to explain stuff.

His tail floats like the princesses? We haven't seen any other ponies apart from Luna and Celestia that havethat feature, so it makes it seem like it's a princess-only thing (apart from Cadance and wi. Then again both of them weren't alicorns intially so that could explain it). Basically, people like characters that seem to be able to fit into the context of the show. In this case, the floating tail makes him not very 'believe-able'.

Also, I don't think we've ever heard of a windigo posessing a pony. They feed off fighting and hatred, but they don't go inside a pony to do it. It's a cool idea, though I'm not sure it can happen in the world of Equestria.

Even if he could be possessed by a windigo, the windigo's powers only can make things colder when there is more fighting and hatred to feed off. So I don't think making things freeze with his mind is possible without the hatred and fighting.

And when you say 'fluttershy but a male' it gives off the feeling of unoriginality, as though you weren't bothered to come up with a particular personality and just took one from the show. I mean, there's noting wrong with that,  but just saying.

Anyway, this guy is okay, but could use some improvement c:

When you're in a forest with no idea of where you are, you could easily be walking in circles even if you think you're walking straight.

You can't just put the cutie mark on her neck just because you feel like it... We haven't seen any pony in the show with their cutie mark anywhere other than their flank, right?
Then again, it's Equestria, I guess anything is possible

anyway, Aloe and Lotus are the only twins we have seen in Equestria, so its not sure that all the twins have the mane and main colors that way.

Sabrina, well, Fluttershy is not what I excpected, but I think I can see how you mean. No, she is more, umm, Maud? She doesn't show her entusiasm often, but of course she does,. She is more serious and like being polite about stuff and such, also, just cause I now she how bland people will think she is, (me reading through without thinking with my thougths of her personality, I find her a bit bland) I'll add one (or more) weakness to all my Oc's.

Actually, I was referring to her appearance, not her character.

Wait... Why is Naura's cutie mark on her neck? I wonder if that's possible...

I find her appearance a bit unoriginal since she's basically just a chikorita pony, but ey, I don't think there's really anything wrong with it if you're fine with it.

Did Naura just give herself the name Naura? She probably didn't understand a word when she was under the care of her family (unless babies learn to talk much earlier than i think), so she might not have known what her name was or something. Eh, debatable I guess.

Why did her family not care about her? I mean, technically speaking, all mothers would usually care for their child, even if they're disabled or physically handicapped or whatever. So what reason did her family have to not care about her? Also, any information on why they were passing by Everfree Forest?

So she was half a year old and left out in the Everfree Forest. Honestly, it seems rather stupendous to think she'd be able to survive like that. I mean, if we're following pony years and months, 6-month-old babies probably can't even walk or even feed themselves. Also, when you think about it, there are probably tons of poisonous fruits and things in Everfree Forest and Naura has no way to differentiate them from those that are safe to eat. She probably wasn't even able to think at that age - Baby ponies would stick anything they can get their hooves on into their mouths. It's simply impossible for her to survive in Everfree Forest without anyone or anything watching over her. An animal, perhaps.

I find it rather odd that she could learn the pony language simply by listening to other ponies communicating with it from afar. I wonder if that's possible... If it is then I'd have no objections.

Overall I find Naura's story rather un-believable, but I'm sure with a little tweaking it could be better. Maybe you could change the age she was left behind by her family so that it's understandable that she could survive on her own.

Anyway, on to the others... Although there's honestly not much to say about them since there aren't any background stories yet. I guess I'll talk about their appearance and colour scheme and stuff.

Whitney looks alright.

Hewan and Hawan may be twins, but it's odd that they essentially look exactly the same... I mean, the spa twins, Aloe and Lotus, in MLP look the same but have different colour schemes.



I would suggest doing that, but if you don't want to you could make one of their hairstyles a little different. I mean, if you look at most twins in real life you'd see they would wear different clothes or something, and I guess hairstyles are the clothes equivelent in Equestria or something.

It could be just me finding it weird though. You don't really need to do it if you don't want to.

So, Sabrina. She's basically a recoloured unicorn version of Fluttershy, isn't she?
I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, but it just gives off the feeling of being a bit unoriginal. Maybe there could be some changes.

And, Hazy Rhyme... She basically just looks like a filly version of Chrysalis. Again, it gives off the feeling of being a bit unoriginal. Just saying...


Anyway, I would have liked to see more background stories, but I guess it IS a work in progress. I hope you can improve on your OCs

Except background alicorns. They are 'errors'. Basically the fandom believes what it wants.

Although those background alicorns have me thinking, what if it's true that there are very rare instances of non-royal alicorns? I mean, Twilight wasn't immediately recognised as a princess in one episode when she was out and about if I remember correctly. Maybe they assumed she was a non-royal one?

Tigs. Looking at the apple bloom, I'd say next time you have to do a bow like this, do it with the mouse like you did here, it looks more realistic for a bow then drawn by hand.

The thing is that it appeared in the actual show itself. Anything that is shown in the show is canon, basically. You saying that is like saying Vinyl Scratch having pink/red eyes isn't canon, which it is because she took off her glasses for a few seconds during the song Love Is In Bloom. Even though it was only for a few seconds, it's canon.
