Skye found the arcade and found an interesting game called "Lunar Defense Force." She put in a bit and began playing.

It was a fun enough game. It even had a boss which she was able to beat. However... eventually... she got to level she just couldn't beat and got a game over.

Skye then did something unexpected. She usually wouldn't get angry over something like this. But, she ended up yelling at the game.

"GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! The UFO's are annoying!! How are you supposed to get past UFO's constantly showing up?! It's impossible I tell you!!" shouted Skye as she now got weird looks from everypony else that was in the arcade. This embarrassed her and made her blush.

*Rad turned around* Oh sure! There's plenty to do! There's an arcade further down, and a restaurant on the third floor.

"An arcade? Sounds intriguing. I suppose I'll have to check it out for myself. Thank you" remarked Skye as she began heading towards the arcade in question to see if there were any interesting games there to play.

((I'm not sure what kind of games would be there. lol. Maybe just arcade versions of the games that are on the Equestria Gaming arcade?!  :3 lol Anything is possible I suppose  :o ))

((Very well then))

Flora had went her own way, as did Skye. Skye ended up in the gambling area.

"Ugh. Is there really nothing else to do here other than gamble?" thought Skye. That's when she saw somepony playing roulette.

She didn't want to do this. Seriously, she didn't. But, she felt like she didn't have a choice. She approached the pony, but tried not to scare, surprise or startle him.

"Excuse me, but, me and my friend just got here awhile ago and I really don't know a lot about this place. Isn't there anything else to do here other than gamble? I don't really like gambling..." asked Skye to the unknown pony

Skye and Flora finished eating. Flora spoke up again.

"This casino has a hotel as well, so, I called and reserved us a room, so, why don't we go take a look at it? That way we can drop off our important stuff there and then we can do whatever we want to after that" suggested Flora

"Very well then" replied Skye as they headed towards the hotel area, with a hotel employee showing them to their room. Flora used the key she was given to open up the door and...

The room was very impressive. It looked like a first-class room or a master suite room. Skye was actually shocked and in awe. There were two beds, one for each of them of course as well as a window to view the outside as well as closets to put their stuff and even a refrigerator to keep any food cold if they wanted anything while they were in their room.

"You... you went all out didn't you? You... you didn't have to do that you know..." remarked Skye

"Actually Ms... we don't want any of our guests to feel left out or different. All of our rooms are like this" informed the hotel employee.

"This is wonderful!! Thank you so much!!" cheered Flora.

"You are most welcome. Please enjoy your stay here at the Gold Emerald Casino" remarked the hotel employee as he left.

Skye and Flora then put all of their important stuff in their respective closets, then, Flora locked the door to their room and they went their separate ways to find something interesting to do in the casino...

((I'm here to post again I guess.))

Skye, somehow, was eventually able to find a sort of 'banquet' with food pretty much everywhere.

Skye got a plate of what looked good, found an empty table, and began eating.

After awhile... Flora found Skye again.

"I got a brochure from the information area." informed Flora

"And?" asked Skye after swallowing what was currently in her mouth.

"There's plenty to do here. Don't worry" assured Flora

"I see..." remarked Skye. Flora then finally noticed that Skye was eating.

"How's the food?" asked Flora

"Pretty good. Looks like this casino put out all the stops. They probably hired the best chefs they could find" answered Skye

"In that case, I'll get some food and join you" remarked Flora as she then got a plate full of food as well and took a seat across from Skye and she began eating as well and Skye continued eating as well.

((I don't mind RPing by myself. Seriously. I don't.  :P ))

((Sorry for the delay))

Two ponies approached the casino. One was a pegasus pony named Skye Fown.

The other was her 'guardian' and friend, Flora Faun, who was an earth pony

Skye didn't seem very happy, but, Flora did.

"You call this 'fun?'" asked Skye

"Come on don't be like that, we spend all of our time in the flower shop too much if you ask me. We deserve a break, I heard about this casino from a flyer we received in the mail. It seemed interesting enough, and, like I already said, I thought we needed a break, so, here we are" reminded Flora

"I guess but did you really have to choose a casino?" asked Skye

"Casino's are fully of activity and interesting ponies!! Besides, there's more things to do here than just gamble I assure you" assured Flora

"Like what?" asked Skye

"Enough of that. We're here on vacation. I suggest you enjoy it" suggested Flora

"But what if somepony recognizes me?" mumbled Skye, however, Flora still heard it.

"You really need to stop worrying about that. This is the life you choose instead and you're happy. That's really all that should matter" reminded Flora.

"You're right" remarked Skye. Flora then pushed Skye forward with her right hoof

"Of course I'm right!! Now go!! Mingle!!" suggested Flora as she began heading toward the information desk to see what exactly she and Skye could do here.

Meanwhile... Skye began looking for some food, to see if they had anything good to eat. She was a little hungry anyway...

((For some reason the spoilers won't show the images so I had to do it this way. Sorry.  :s ))

((No one said no. However I have to go do something so I'll make my first post either tomorrow or tonight))

((Hmm... this is updated a lot more than the other one... I might have difficulty keeping up with this one. Either way... can I get in on this? The other RP I was in has seemingly died. Again. I'd like to participate as my pegasus OC and an NPC my pegasus OC is associated with. Just try to keep in mind that I can only post when I can post sorry. Also, I would have posted this in the OOC thread but there isn't one for this. Sorry!!  :I ))

Mage seemed to make up his mind. He put his map away. All of a sudden he became very serious.

He headed back to the gymnasium and entered it. He used a simple light spell and prepared himself...

But... nothing happened.

"Huh... I guess somepony fixed it." thought Mage. Mage then went up to the computer. He had a basic understanding of technology thanks to the first magic school he went to. He typed some stuff in and seemingly prepared himself.

"Scanning pony. Scan complete. Optimizing training robot to the strength of the scanned pony. Optimization complete." announced the computer.

The robot showed up, and Mage prepared himself.

"Alright... remember what the book said Mage... think of your magic as your energy source. Use only what's necessary..."
thought Mage

"3... 2... 1..." announced the computer

Mage got serious again.

"Begin" announced the computer.

Hopefully... things would go better this time...

After writing some notes on how to do illusion magic better, Mage went back to reading the book on how to increase his stamina.

That's when he came across something interesting...

"Huh... this book recommends an interesting training method... I guess I'll have to try that too..." thought Mage.

With that, he decided to stop for now. He would come back if he thought he needed more help. Mage returned the books to the front desk as the library smiled at him. Mage blushed and smiled back and simply thanked the librarian for all of the help he received. The librarian simply said it was no problem as they did this a lot more than you would think. Mage simply nodded and left.

"Hmm... what should I do now..." thought Mage as he looked at his map as he tried to decide what he would do next.
1571
Mage continued reading the book on how to increase his magic stamina and continued taking notes in his notebook on how to increase his magic stamina.

He decided to take a break from that and took a look at the book on the tips and tricks on how to do illusion magic better.

After reading a little...

"Oh I get it now!! That makes much more sense!!" thought Mage as he began some notes in his notebook about illusion magic and how to do it better in his notepad now.
1572
Mage arrived in the library with the help from his map.

It was very impressive. Books were everywhere. Not only that, it was a large room. Almost as large as the gymnasium was. Mage quickly shook off the awed look on his face again.

Mage went up to the desk and spoke with the librarian there, explaining that he was new to the Academy and this was his first time here and asked for help in finding the books he wanted to find.

The first thing the librarian did was give him a sort of 'library card' specifically for students, which Mage gladly accepted and placed inside his vest pocket. Next, the librarian assisted him and got the books he wanted to look over.

Once all of that was done, Mage took a seat at one of the desks and began reading the books thoroughly. He started by reading the book on how to increase his magic stamina. Because... what would be the point in reading the book on the tips and tricks to do illusion magic better if he didn't have better magic stamina?

Mage remembered something and re-summoned his school supplies to him and began writing some notes in his notepad. He was taking notes on what the book had on how to increase his magic stamina.

((AFAIK, no one really controls NPCs here. I think. I guess. That's why I did the post this way. Hopefully it's acceptable.  :s ))
1573
Mage felt better after resting awhile and felt as if his magic had returned to him. He wanted to thank the teacher, but noticed he was busy with another student, so, Mage didn't want to bother him.

Mage teleported his school supplies back to whence they came with his magic, and exited the classroom. Mage took out his map once again and looked for the library. Once he found it, with the help of his map, he made his way over there.

Once Mage was in the library... he planned on doing some serious studying on some more tips and tricks to do illusion magic better as well as how to increase his magic stamina.

Nova watched mage's try. He chuckled and took a bottle of water out of his saddlebag and levitated it to him.
This was a good try. You may need some more stamina but i am satisfied with your result. Take some rest.
He wrote something on a piece of paper.

Mage was still breathing heavily, but, accepted the bottle, He opened the bottle with his teeth and drank from the bottle by biting the top of the bottle and lifting it up by moving his head up as he took a sip from the bottle before placing it back on his desk. He did it this way because he had spent all of his magic by attempting the spell.

Mage then laid back in his chair as he tried to rest and recover himself after using up all of his magic. He would probably sit there until some of his magic returned to him before he would leave the class and go searching in the library for tips on not only how to do illusion magic, but, for tips on increasing his magic stamina as well.
1575
Mage was struggling, so, he stopped. For the moment anyway. Then, he payed attention to what Nova was doing. That's when he remembered his somewhat "private" lesson he had with him earlier.

Mage did the same thing he did before. He cleared his mind of everything. As far as Mage was concerned, it was only him, and the ray of light.

He focused his mana and tried to make something transparent. He decided the easiest thing to make would be glass.

He tried just that.

He opened his eyes... and he saw... he did it!! However, he was only able to hold it for a few seconds before he was forced to stop the spell.

Mage then breathed heavily out loud.

"Aw... man... looks... like... I... need... magic... endurance... or... something... like... that... training. I... used... up... my... magic... to... quickly..." remarked Mage as he attempted to catch his breath.
1576
Mage began shaking a little. He was nervous.

He began to use his mana to try to create a lens. The lens formed fine, but then, Mage wasn't sure how to change the shape to break the light like the prism did.

He tried the obvious thing first. He altered the shape of the lens into a diamond-like shaped and put it through the light.

Mage wasn't very confident that this would work...
1577
"This guy isn't messing around. I'm not sure I can do that though... I'll just have to try my best I suppose" thought Mage as he wasn't very sure of himself and wasn't very confident in his abilities to do and use illusion magic correctly at the moment.

((Now i am satisfied))

Nova faced the students and began speaking.
For those of you who missed last class, I am Lusterless Nova, your Teacher for Illusion and summoning magic.
And today i welcome you to another lesson of Illusion Magic.

Last time we learned how to create a light sphere. Today we will take another step and manipulate colors to create our first Illusions.

Mage nodded as he used his magic to grab his pencil and prepared to write as many notes as he felt he possibly needed to take.
1579
Mage figured he had waited long enough. He got up from his chair in the student cafeteria and made his way back to the class. The sign had changed. It was... more magic.

"Oh man... I'm impressed yet again. No time for that. If I pay attention and take good notes... I can do this too!!"
thought Mage as he made his way into the classroom, took a seat in the second row on the left side of the room again, teleported his schools supplies to himself again, and organized his area as he prepared for the class to begin.
1580
Eventually Mage found a classroom that actually had a "closed" sign on it. Not only that, but, the classroom wasn't actually closed. Two ponies were in the classroom seemingly discussing something.

One of the ponies Mage recognized when he first came to the academy. The other pony Mage didn't recognize.

"Looks like I found where the next class is. I'm actually excited!! I get to see more of the awesome magic this teacher does!!"
thought Mage.

But... the classroom said "closed," so, obviously, Mage couldn't just go in. It didn't matter anyway. He knew where the class was so that's all that mattered.

Mage made his way back to the student cafeteria and took a seat and simply relaxed again. It was the only area he found where he could just sit and relax. Mage was pretty much going to wait awhile until he thought it was long enough, then, go back to the classroom to see if the "closed" sign was taken off yet.
