Ara'ja-meya, instructed the scholars to continue their studies, her interest about this incarceration intrigued her. She stood several feet behind the General pony, just . . . watching. Captain Dareka had never failed her before and no feeble fleshling could defeat him by force. They had a weakness but it wasn't force! So she sat there, perfect posture, shining brightly and staring constantly while Syntherians swarmed the ruins around them, contemplating EVERYTHING.

The troops continued their siege, most the town was gone and the ponies had evacuated to apple-acres. But now they were busy constructing a portal. More troops were not necessary but the lack of constant energy was a frustration. Opening a hole to the Energy Continuum would assist with that, and a few Syntherians prepared a barricade of energy, between the ruins and the evacuees.  The second in command nodded with approval, this setup would prevent further difficulties.

Ara'ja-meya threw a pony out of the fire zone. She had been kneeling before a burning building, crying. And if there is one thing Syntherians cannot stand . . . it is the forsaking of life. "Take your life and make it again, fleshling. These fleshlings place far too much value on material possessions . . ." Ara caught herself relaying the message into the tablet and stopped. "Such beings are unworthy of our notice, willing to sacrifice knowledge and life for furniture."

Snapping to the side, the group of scholars watched as guards went charging past. Concussion rays dropping one after another and petty magical wisps flying through or around the military Syntherians.

The smoke slowly began to clear, the heat those Syntherians couldn't feel beginning to disperse. . .  never before had these beings of light gazed upon such destruction, such permanent desecration of the environment and surroundings. It brought Ara to pause, and the scholars even let loose gasps or small noises of disapproval. But soon enough Ara was before them, her eyes as bright as ever, her figure as imposing. "A sorry destruction, to further the great understanding. Hold true, kinsmen, you saw the barbarity of these fleshlings they would have brought such things upon themselves."

But already Ara was fearing for the future, if these fleshlings were truly so barbaric: there would be more places like this town.

Then a chill passed over her mind as she felt something ominous about the Captain's position. A strange obstruction of radiation and energy, a surprising cut-off from the 'natural way of things'. Sending her thoughts to him, and urgently: "Captain, where have you found yourself? I'm sensing something is different."

(Ponyville is ablaze and under-attack, the soldiers stationed outside are already faltering)

Ara'ja-meya's cold eyes glinted off the rising inferno. She felt the sorrow from the parents and civilians, these fleshlings were not devoid of emotion and did NOT enjoy combat above all else. Besides their ability to fend off the Dareka, captain, was pitiable. Soon the captain would finish off these ponies with his concussive rays and many, many ponies would be stunned throughout pony-ville. "With haste, captain, the scholars and I shall search these ruins and study the compounds. Burning gives us a unique opportunity to view the chemical induction of these materials. Leave the ponies you stun, we do not wish to study their impure anatomies."

Ara nodded with intent at the scholars and the Syntherian's bright forms could be found moving through the inferno, every now and again coming across some poor civilian attempting to quench the flames. Never once was there any success and decades of material stockpiling was burned to cinders.

Along the outer-perimeter the guards had noticed the sudden and unforgivable destruction of pony-ville. The burning buildings caught in their eyes; the various stunned ponies brought anger and fear into their blood and their hearts beat madly. Fear caught many, but none turned their back. Then, with little hope and greater pride, the company leader shouted his orders, "CHARGE! PROTECT THE CIVILIANS, SAVE PONY-VILLE!"

The 50 soldiers turned rank and charged, 5 lines of sparkling armor, 5 lines of glistening swords. Five lines intercepted by a vast array of beams. . .

The first line was down.

"Good ponies are good, bad ponies are in prison." Jimmy nodded. "That's the way things should be."

A foal runs by and steals an apple, guards come to send the foal to prison.

"We don't throw foals in prison, because we are good people." Jimmy gives the foal all of the cabbage ladies apricots.

Ara'ja-meya nodded, as the Sage of Morning Dew drew back. A cape of great sorrow began to surround him. Then spoke he, his final words: "Very well, my quarrelsome children, I am denied your attention and belief, I can do no more against these swarms of light beings. I give my great sorrow, children but my power dost rely on your belief and virtues. I pray this day the destruction is not too great, I pray your souls may find the necessary understanding . . ."

Then where the sage once stood was nothing but a patch of sorrow and Ara'ja-meya was irritated beyond reckoning. "Take hold, my kinsman, these creatures are barbaric and hostile. We must detain as many as possible, there knowledge is tainted with violence and hypocrisy; it must not be allowed to merge with the great wisdom. Should you find reservoirs of information see to it they are destroyed." Her tablet once again in the air, the prominent figurine. "FOR THE GREAT UNDERSTANDING."

And her attention wandered to the captain. "That, being was on of ancient knowing and his knowledge has been lost to us by those quibbling fleshling. Their vulgar antics pushed him away, and their irritating arrogance made any knowledge, he might impart, worthless. Leave those creatures to their squabbling, let them perceive what their actions have wrought!"

(Aeon and Harmony are now grappled)

"Nary a strike my quarrelsome children, hold back your blows and seek the light. For woe upon us dost anger bring and come the fighters of far-off lands. See how they stand just beyond, converse they with the captain there and his anger breeds the danger of many. These fights lend strength to the beings of light, where divide us, ourselves and open the way for easy destruction. Hold tight to thine principles and slip them not, for trouble does wax in yonder mountains and the sun be no longer our friend." The white sage of morning dew was upon the ponies. Holding Aeon's hoof above his head and Harmony's hoof below his waist. His iridescent white robes blazed with light and the silver mane of ages a swirling whirlpool about his shoulders.

"Look close my children, see you not the end." And his hoof pointed delicately towards the creatures of light. "Lay there your problems of state and mind, take not the evil from within upon each other. Take not the evil and spread it forth! Thine willpower must develop and wisdom take hold before the morning light might bring comfort once more."

Ara'ja-meya stood silent and still as a beam of sunlight. Her thoughts could-not penetrate this new one's mind but still she felt the immensity of his intellect, a being much older than any of her people. .  .

(Gahaha, masterfully played BG lol. Not like the whole process of changing prisoners, in any way, is completely unethical or anything. Could you even imagine what a world like that would be like  >.<? I sort of want to make a RP with a unethnical government . . . oh wait, I already have a game like that  ovO, exactly like that. Ehh, I hope I'll get some inspiration for TPC, I'd really like to hit the MEAT and purpose of the game :/. I'll do my best to post something up there, soon . . . Ahh, but wait, we are 'role playing' here, give me a moment . . . )

(All bad ponies turn good in prison we have good ponies in charge of bad ponies)
Jimmy was happy for the bad pony, he would be good soon. "I like good ponies."
129
"We turn them good in prisons." Jimmy smiled.
130
"All bad ponies are in prison" Jimmy nodded.
131
"Good you are strong, but I don't want ponies to get hurt." Jimmy nodded.
132
Jimmy didn't know what to do now no adviser for king alicron.
133
"It is good to have all the powers." Jimmy likes all the powers.

Twinkle-Winkle was busy not having fun on a bench.

"Not the moon." Jimmy made the moon go down so the sun could come up because the sun and moon can't be up at the same time and Jimmy wanted to keep partying at the festival and he couldn't do that if the sun was down and the moon was up well he could but everypony else would be asleep because ponies sleep when the moon is up and the sun is down.

Twinkle nodded her head in approval "Parties are for everypony."
135
Twinkle-winkle placed her hand on random pony's shoulder, "When life gives you lemons."

Jimmy nodded at wise saying.

"Higher beings? What an interesting concept, fleshling. I cannot perceive why we would wish to be higher than you but we truly are brighter and more vibrant. So your species places height as a set point for power?" The preacher's hooves were already flying across the string upon her tablet. "What strange concepts you corporeal creatures hold, so those who are more proficient hold no power in your society? Height dictates all?" The preacher sent her eyes over the soldiers standing at attention. "That one, there? That fleshling is your superior?" Ara's hoof rested upon some minor officer.

"Very interesting, if highly symbolic and impractical. " A small smirk creasing her face, and a little twist to her hoof as the string spun across the talent.

137
Ara's eyes of pure light sharpened onto the soldier's, an almost painful brightness "You fleshlings are slow to react and slow to care. I am fast loosing patience with your kind. Perhaps your species cannot be reasoned with, cannot be enlightened. WHERE is our ambassador?"

But before the guards could answer; Ara threw her hoof skywards. "I don't care about your petty excuses. Bring me the captain, that is the only answer."

The guards looked worriedly between each other and prepared themselves for combat, whatever was taking the captain might cost them their lives.

"uhhhh i know i know but .. this is important .. but i need to go after her " the captain was extremely conflicted "im sure celestia will forgive me this once , go find commander specx have him talk to her stall for now teel them ill come just as soon as i take care of this " with that the captain bolted off to the everfree after cleartone to bring her back

The sole guard caught hold of his commanding officer's hooves. Hearing everything the general was muttering to himself, he couldn't let the commander ruin his career, "SIR, WE NEED YOU NOW! She'll be here later, if we don't go NOW, all of pony-ville could be destroyed. SHE WILL STILL BE HERE WHEN WE GET BACK." The guard then threw down the general's hooves in disgust. "Sir, I don't care what rank you are, if you leave now I'll do my best to have you court martialed. I have all these witnesses here, 'sir', if you abandon your post now the troops will demand your stripes! SIR, WE NEED YOU!"
139
The soldier was in hysterics, he had already dashed across half of pony-ville and now the general was making it hard on HIM. He took a moment to compose himself though, this was his commanding officer and surely he knew what he was doing. "Sir . . ." The guard breathed out slowly. "I have no idea what's going on, but whatever these creatures are, their leader requested you personally. She inferred that you two had a communication perhaps even an understanding."

The soldier's heavy breathing, constant and unending. "Please sir, we need you."
140
A guard came sprinting up in full barding, his armor glistened in the morning light and sweat already dripped off his soaked cloth. "Captain Zenryo! We need your assistance! The strange creatures have returned and they are demanding you as ambassador. SIR! WE NEED YOUR HELP!" Already turning to sprint back, the guard took but a second to holler over his shoulder. "SIR, are you COMING?"
