Alkaid raised an eyebrow and looked to Yama. He'd never liked being laughed at. Knowing Crimson couldn't see the alicorn, he telepathically said: "He would barely be of any use at that purpose, since none of the injuried creatures are ponies and there are already plenty of gods who are facing the situation. Also, I wasn't thinking about him being a leader, but more like a mentor; just like Hayristotle with Hooflexander the Great ((see what I did here?  ovO )): not the one taking decisions, but one to whom ponies can ask about several questions. Anyway, since he seems not enough self-determined, I guess I'll find another solution."

At the same time, he told Crimson: "Well, actually it was probably quite thoughtless of me to move such a proposal. I guess it's not something you can just ask anypony; such things take much more planning than this. But let me just tell you I don't believe that things like 'nobility' or 'royal blood' are something you're born with: they're just meaningless titles that ponies hang on themselves unworthily. The only exception being the Sisters, obviously. So, since Voidwalker left us so abruptly, would you like to come with me to my Realm? It's still a work in progress, but maybe you'll like the plenty of books I've gathered there. Sure enough, you've never seen so many of them before."

((by the way, Ethereal, do you mind telling me where I can find more information about Yama? From the info thread I've just seen he/she's an alicorn, but I don't know anything else about him/her  X3 ))

Wasn't sure if voting or not, since I'm not inactive, but seeing you're all voting: voted and staying  X3

At first Alkaid didn't know how to answer Crimson; indeed, there were so few mortals, compared to the number of gods, that no job would've been really necessary. Then he had an idea. "You're right, Crimson. At the moment, Creation doesn't really need doctors, for there are just too few ponies living here. But things are going to change: we gods are still shaping this universe, and, before you arrived here, I was just about to create a place where a new race could be born and grow; I think it would be the very first one since after Ragnarok. Maybe you, who come from an already evolved world, could be the leader of this new race and guide them to prosperity. Obviously they'd be pony-like, and probably would resemble the races of the Equestrian ponies: earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi..." - then he quickly quit talking, thinking he was being too impatient. Sure enough, it would take time to Crimson to assimilate such an idea. After all, Alkaid himself hadn't a precise plan yet.
"Well...maybe that's quite too much for you at the moment. What I mean is that you'll surely find your place in Creation, if you really wish so; what's more, until then you don't really need to work as you did in Equestria...food is quite easily-found here in Zeth, so you don't even need money to buy it."
64
"Uh, sorry about the teleportation; it was the fastest way to get here, but maybe it was quite too fast for one not used to teleporting" said Alkaid. "And, as regards your emotions...I suggest you not to think about them; probably both they and your memory lack are just a side effect of the Portal to Creations...you know, travelling through dimensions isn't exactly a tranquil experience. Now just think to recuperate; you don't have to worry about the past: while you're in Creation, you're a free pony.".
The God of Knowledge repressed a little sense of guilt. It's for his own good. The truth wouldn't make him happy, this is sure.

((Yeah, I think this is the best solution too  ;) Let's also say that, if Crimson should somehow regain his memories, he'd also get back the horrible feelings derived from his "death experience" with their full strength))

"I know it may sound unbelievable...even I wouldn-" the God of Knowledge quickly interrupted the sentence. He was about to reveal he'd once been a common mortal pony, and that was something it felt like better being kept hidden from Crimson. So he changed topic. "Don't worry. You're not dead, and you'll certainly feel a lot better after you eat something. Creating food is not within my realm, but I'm quite sure Voidwalker will help you.". Alkaid localized the God of Food - luckily he was on Zeth too, and not very far away - and teleported both him and Crimson in front of him.

"Hi, Void, probably you're busy at the moment, but would you mind preparing something good for this pony to eat? He's...not exactly the image of health in this moment" he said. It's quite strange; five minutes ago I was dealing him a terrible punishment, and now I'm here begging food for him. Something's definitely wrong with me... he thought.

As soon as Blue Blur left, Alkaid realized that he was now the one who was somehow supposed to take care of the newly memory-erased Crimson. Oh, great he thought bitterly. After all this, is it me the one who must clear this mess?
He'd never been a skilled speaker, and had absolutely no idea how he could help the mortal. Well, let's give a try.

"Hello, Crimson. You happen to be in Creation, a dimension alternative to Equestria created by the Sisters themselves with the purpose of being a peaceful place for the ponies to live happily in. You arrived here by crossing a Portal, and if you wish so you can be back to your home at any time: nopony's going to keep you prisoner here, nor harm you in any way.
First of all, you must know that there are several Gods looking after Creation, and I am one of them: you can call me Alkaid. If your will is to be back home, I can guide you to the Portal, but you may be interested in staying here: it's quite a beautiful place where to live; just a bit unpopulated actually.
"
Alkaid stopped talking, letting Crimson some moments to figure the situation out.

CUT

((Well, RP is good because it's unpredictable, isn't it? ovO Let's see what this brings ...))

Alkaid looked at the mortal for one last time. Now he surprised himself to feel compassion for him. "It's done, Blue. His punishment has been inflicted. Now I think it's enough, let's just let him go wherever he wants. He may either come back home, or stay here in Creation; sure is he won't be of any harm again." he said quietly.
68
'Al Cake'? How dares...- Alkaid stopped that thought; it was useless to get angry towards a pony who was about to be memory-erased. "You need your memories you say? I don't care what you deem right for you, since those thoughts you're so proud of made somepony unjustly lose his life. Moreover" he added, "you won't lose all your memories; you'll just forget about your meaningless 'master' and his greedy plans.".

Then Alkaid's once again started glowing azure and Crimson's body was surrounded by a vortex of Memory. In a few seconds, all his memories about his master, his actions against Blue Blur and everything that happened to him after entering Creation were dissolved. At the end of the process, just a vague remembrance of his country and of his early happy days were left to him. All the memories unrelated to his criminal acts (e.g. the memories about geography, his family, etc.) were totally uncorrupted though.
69
Totally unrelated, but...Ethereal, how do you write with that color style? [glow=red,2,300]<- while typing this, I discovered the "glow" function in the editor °-° Amashing![/glow]

awesome work on the post, Silver :D

Every time I read this my attention gets caught, then I suppose it refers to Silver Snake  xD
When referring to me feel free to call me 'Weed' then  lol

Alkaid looked to Crimson, still crouched on the ground.
"Well, Blue; if you have nothing against it, I'll proceed with the second step: wiping his foolish fanatism out his mind." he said.

Though the elementals were long departed when Alkaid started to speak. The barrier prison laid around the mortal with three layers.

((I'd forgot they'd already gone (and yes, I'm a god of memory *facehoof*). That because I've read the comments starting from the last one XD; pretend I didn't say anything and just thought it while they were still there  X3))
73
Alkaid was quite irritated seeing that those elementals deemed his work enough for the punishment. It had been a harsh one, indeed, but obviously they didn't understand that. Probably those...things barely had a mind on their own.

"Stop interfering with the work of Gods, you" he told menacingly to the law elementals. "There's no reason for you to linger here any more: the God of Law himself has established the punishment for this mortal, and I have brought it forth for him as he wished. Now disappear from our sight, or we'll consider you as anarchic creatures and erase you from Creation."

((to fully understand the magnitude of sorrow, one must understand the magnitude of joy which was suddenly stripped away.  One must, in truth, experience literally a lifetime.  Thousands upon thousands of lifetimes, each one different, each one filled with sorrow, with sudden loss, with unending pain, fear, terror, wrath...))

((eeyup, in fact, in that couple of minutes, Crimson's mind is working at full speed, witnessing a huge amount of Blue's memories, especially the ones which Blue wants him to see with the maximum involvement...  :D))
75
((Yes! I knew that the pillars would've been of some use sooner or later! xD Btw, technically Crimson is going to experience death, but won't physically die; at least, if its body survives such experience...))
76
Alkaid stared at the crouched pony with a moderate disdain. He'd always thought that feelings like love for one's country, unbreakable loyalty towards someone or absolute faith for an ideal were nothing more than silly illusions, and dangerous too. He'd never really felt love for his birth town, and did never regret  leaving it for its studies in Canterlot.
"You should be grateful" he told Crimson. "You shouldn't live you life but for yourself; I'm just going to free you from your servitude, so that you can really enjoy life and be happy either with other ponies or alone, as you prefer." Then he closed his eyes and focused on Blue's mind aside him. It was the first time he did something like that, and he was thankful to the God of Law who trusted him enough to let him manipulate his own memories.

An azure light glowed from Alkaid's closed eyes as he connected his mind with Blue's and Crimson's ones, and after some seconds the grey pony turned back to the crouched mortal and crossed his sight. As the power of the Realm of Memory flowed through him towards Crimson, he said aloud: "This is the punishment you deserve, mortal: to experience the very same pain which you voluntarily inflicted to innocent ponies who had never harmed you in any way. May now that pain come back from whence it had its origin, never to be seen again within Creation!"

In no more than a couple of minutes, Crimson would be tormented by Blue Blur's worst memories from the sorrow for his lost life in Equestria to the moment of his death. Quite overcome from the entire process himself, Alkaid made no effort to soften the process at all.
77
Alkaid was quite uncertain how to behave. "Such thing is surely within my powers, but it's quite a harsh punishment you ask for. That kind of memories can be a sharp blade for a weak mind; I'm not sure how would it be for a mortal to mentally experience death but physically survive such experience." he told the God of Law and Order. "Nevertheless, " he added "I may erase his memories after the punishment, so he can carry on living either in Creation or in Equestria without being of any harm to anypony..."

Technology? Too bad we don't have technology god to make an interesting twist.

A technology god? That would be an interesting one, indeed  ovO
79
((I haven't read the walls of text yet, but am I right to suppose Alkaid's idea of reading his mind has now lost purpose?  lol

Edit: read them. Also, every time I'm reading your posts, Silver Snake, I get distracted by the gif in your signature XD))

Alkaid was quite annoyed of Gathering ignoring what he told him; he considered saying something else, but suddenly he noticed a wondrous amount of power coming out of him and utterly nullify the Law Elemental's one. He'd almost forgot Gathering wasn't just a common God. Probably it wouldn't be that easy to deal with him.
With a resigned sigh, the God of Knowledge teleported in a free spot between Blue Blur and Gathering. "So...what are you going to do with him?" he asked Blue.

The elemental then used his horn to levitate Crimson and his prison. He then used his powers again and quickly disappeared to the only volcano on Zeth. The home of the fire elementals.

((Maybe it's better to wait for Silver Snake to answer again before such a big move... X3 Or maybe not, just suggesting))
