Alkaid, still at Voidwalker's side, observed Night reaping the wolves' souls. She must have something to do with them; maybe she was the one who had created the two violent spirits. It wasn't Alkaid's habit to meddle in other ponies' affairs, but this may be something important. After all, if an evolved civilization would've ever appeared in Creation it was also his responsibility to preserve it, and havoc-spreading creatures wouldn't definitely be a good thing.

So, while Night Shine was still fading from sight, he spoke in her mind: "You're the Goddess of Undeath and Soul, aren't you? I'm Alkaid, the God of Knowledge. I need to know, and I think the other gods would like to know as well, if you're responsible for those wolves' apparition. We've all seen they're dangerous, so I'd like to know where you're planning to bring them."
122
"I don't know...I can't discern very much, other than lust for havoc and chaos; I think these things were created for the sole purpose of carrying destruction, though I don't see who would do such a thing and why..."
123
Since they had come quite close to them, Alkaid decided to mind the wolves at least a bit. They were strange; they resembled elementals, but quite different. The god of Knowledge focused on the wolves and tried to inspect their mind, if they had one. Even if unable to think, they should still carry some information about whoever created them.

((Night, can you tell me if I'm able to know something about them this way? In theory, unless created with particular cure to make them 'untraceable', I should be able to get some details about them...))

So a god could easily destroy ANYTHING even the things that isn't his/her realm? Isn't that brakes the rule that only the god of the realm can manipulate his realm?

I guess, but may be wrong, that while in Creation gods cannot directly exert power upon realms which are not their own, but can still manipulate things in other ways, like mortals can (but more effectively)...also, even if a god cannot directly destroy something that doesn't belong to his realm, he can always stop it by using his powers at such purpose: for example, the god of fire could burn it, the god of time could freeze it in time, the god of earth could swallow it under the ground, the god of knowledge could make it a vegetable, etc. This shouldn't be possible within the realm of the god who created that thing, instead.

Alkaid had perceived the wolves, but since they hadn't harmed any source of intelligence he simply didn't care for them. He didn't know they were wolves, but could recognize they weren't ordinary mortals, so he concluded they'd been created by someone within Creation. Whatever they're doing, it's other gods' business to deal with them. he thought.

Then he said to Voidwalker: "You know, I think we're similar in some way. Both our realms and powers are fully satisfied only when interacting with evolved creatures. Too bad there are so few of them around...

He then waited for Zeth to answer Voidwalker's request, still mentally monitoring the wolves' situation. Now there was the God of Time to face them. He'll know what to do. No need to worry

"A lore? Yes, I think it's a good idea. I'm waiting you by the portal." said Alkaid, and trotted towards the portal. From the distance he saw Night entering it and thought: It seems everypony's going back to check out Equestria...

Question:
Quote from: The Wandering MagusYou lose your Godhood as soon as you leave the pocket dimension.  No exceptions.

If you cross the portal to Equestria you are powerless there but can still come back to Creation?

An instant after reappearing on Zeth, Alkaid heard Voidwalker's voice. It was clearly coming from the Gods' plane; since he'd just re-experienced the story of Creation in his mind, his ability to perceive intelligence sources had improved, and now he could recognize whose god they belonged to, if they were sufficiently close to him on Creation's plane, and Voidwalker's one apparently wasn't anywhere to be perceived.

"Greetings, God of Cuisine, my name is Alkaid, god of Knowledge and Memory. I've just come back to Zeth from my realm, but if you wish so I may come to your one so we can talk face to face." said Alkaid.

((Is inter-dimensional communication possible? Else, pretend I didn't come back to Zeth and just stayed into my realm...))

Alkaid opened his eyes after several minutes of concentration. He had plunged deep within his own mind and ran through the events that had befallen Creation before his arrival. He had also become fully aware of his new powers and of the rules that the Sisters had set for the Gods to follow. They were immortal, but belonged to Creation and couldn't leave it without immediately lose their godhood, in the first place. Also, the Sisters wanted them to shape a new reality in harmony and peace, and their responsibility upon their realm was a heavy load, other than a privilege. "Now I have a clearer vision of this dimension, and I know what is my duty." he said to nopony in particular. "What I have to do is to make sure that every creature in this Universe is able to reach a deep comprehension of this place and the reason why it exists, whether an instinctive or a reasoned one, according to their innate nature, for our Princesses want thus to happen. They need to know that everything which here exists, exists for their good, and that us Gods are responsible for the protection of Creation. Also, they shan't forget that everything in here was given them by the Sisters, and by Them may be withdrawn."

So speaking, the light-grey pony started staring at the wall opposite to his marble seat and made an ivory-like door appear out of nothing. I know that the Goddess of Dreams Ethereal Nebula has sent a message to the Gods for making them aware of an "united realm" which  functions as a connection between them...I'll link my realm to it; this will be a precious source of information both for me and the other gods. he thought, and changed the door into a portal to the unified realm.

That was easy, since it's but a gate between realms existing in the gods' plane...I guess shaping a portal to Creation would be a bit more tricky...should I link my realm to Zeth? I know Gathering has done that...probably is better to ask Zeth first.

Alkaid gave a last satisfied look to his realm (which now consisted in a circular room with a radius of about 10 meters, and about that high) and teleported back to Zeth, in the same place where he'd left.
131
Back into his realm, Alkaid could still hear the voice of the Princess, and carefully listened to it. Is it so? Do I already know more than what I think? Probably I've acted too quickly so far. Better gather my thoughts for a while; my mind is deeper than my old mortal one I guess. he thought. Well, first of all I need a proper setting.

Alkaid concentrated and created a sort of pavement for his empty realm. It resembled white marble, and it reflected light almost as much as a mirror. Or it would, if there had been light to reflect. Then, with another effort of imagination, Alkaid shaped the walls, building a huge circular room above the pavement. Then he created several pillars on the border of the room. They actually didn't serve any purpose but to adorn the empty room. Detailing the pillars would have taken time, so Alkaid decided to make their form very simple. Decorations would have come later.

Finally, he created a large marble-like table in the center of the room, and a chair to sit on. Then he looked around with a satisfied smile. I know it isn't properly 'magic' what I used to make this room. It's more my imagination embodied, a power that gods only have within their realms, but it's still satisfying to be able to modify reality at my will. Alright, now it's all ready.

Alkaid sat on the chair, closed his eyes and started concentrating.

When Alkaid heard the unembodied voice he felt his hooves trembling for excitement. When he was still mortal he used to ignore most of the other ponies, for the only things he aimed at were Comprehension and Knowledge, things that he didn't believe could be achieved by chatting with people, but the Sisters were different. They were Goddesses, and had a far deeper wisdom than any other being in Equestria. Hence, Alkaid didn't just respect Them, he rather worshipped Them, and his biggest pride before becoming a god was to be the best expert of theoretical magic at Their service.

During Zeth's and Princess Celestia's dialogue, he dared not to say a word, and was too surprised to hear Her voice to even be able to formulate one of the many questions he had to ask. So, after Princess Celestia had ceased to talk the second time, he said to Zeth, not sure if the Princess could hear him: "...I must admit this is unexpected. And fantastic. I didn't think we are so close to the Sisters, even though we live on a different plane of existence...Thank you, my friend, you gave me a significant help, I won't forget it." I'm the god of Memory, after all... thought Alkaid. "I shall talk to the Sisters at due time; now I must be back to my realm, greetings!" he said, then the earth pony-like God disappeared from Creation.

There wasn't much going on. This bored Gathering (Noy is asleep mainly,) and so He began racing around the cosmos leaving a belt like field of gravity.  This field pulled anything caught in it towards a point further along; resulting in a stream of gravitational force. "wooooosh" "Zooom" "Wheeeeeee" Gathering said unenthusiastically as he created another odd creation.

(( lol))

"What do you mean with "this era"? And if one of us wanted to contact the Sisters, what should he do?" asked Alkaid. Then he added: "I hope I'm not annoying you with all these questions..."

Alkaid didn't notice Blue Blur's return, else he'd probably have asked him about god powers on Equestria. The God of Law and Order and his mortal friend had made a quite silent return.
134
"I see..." Alkaid replied. Sister world? What for? Wasn't Equestria big enough to live in? I know there's plenty of live-able planets in Equestrian dimension, no need to create a new one for that. There's surely more, but I fear the Sisters haven't revealed the real purpose to anypony.
Then he asked again: "Tell me, Zeth: since when Creation was made, have you gods ever met the Sisters again? Are they used to travel from their dimension to ours? Also, how long ago was Creation made?"

((What is this no-portal thing?))
135
It's not my duty to say that, but I fear there's already a God of Time (Link)...
136
"What interests me most is the reason why the Sisters have created this universe and got us to shape it and rule upon it...is this related to something happened to Equestria? Or maybe They just wanted some entertainment? Or is this an experiment or something? And another thing I'd like to know is whether we keep our powers when we're in Equestria or not; I saw Blue Blur crossing the Portal without worrying too much about it... " Alkaid said to Zeth.
137
Seems like he can talk. I guess it's not a surprise: he's a god after all... Alkaid took a deep breath, then he said: "Yes, I am. My name is Alkaid, god of Knowledge and Memory; you are the god of Earth, right? I'm new in here, and I'm sure you have witnessed most of the events ever happened in this dimension; I'm looking forward to meeting the Sisters, and I need all the information I can gather about Creation, therefore I'd be grateful if you helped me.
138
Alkaid was uncertain whether to try reading Zeth's memory or just ask him. He chose to try the second option. After all, if it hadn't worked, he could always try the first later.

"Err...I'm not sure you can speak, but if you can, would you mind telling me a couple of things?" he asked to the ground - after being sure nopony else could hear him.
139
From about half a hundred meters away, Alkaid watched Blue Blur and the other unknown pony cross the Portal. He didn't expected that. So...not only the Portal is bidirectional, but it seems like Gods can pass through it too...Does this mean that we are able to meet the Sisters again? This was a luring thought. Maybe the Sisters could reveal him the purpose of Creation. Maybe They would tell him the reason for giving such powers to normal ponies, and to create a whole new Universe for them to rule. They shall tell me! After all, I am the God of Knowledge, I am supposed to know the meaning of the existence of Creation. They cannot keep it secret from me. What's worth knowing everything else if I know not why I even am?

With these thoughts, Alkaid started galloping towards the Portal, but suddenly stopped. Wait...we're gods in here, but what if we aren't in Equestria? After all, since when I've left my own realm I feel like...less powerful...I feel I can't shape this Universe at my will like I do with my own dimension...so, what if in Equestria I don't have any power at all? And what if the Portal closes again while I'm there? I won't be able to come back there...No, I can't risk that: I must know more details. He gazed at his hooves. Maybe I can try asking Zeth? He seems to have lived much longer than I in this dimension; he surely must know much more than I about it...

Who's that dragon? Alkaid asked himself. The dragon had turned invisible, but the pony could still sense him clearly. It doesn't seems very friendly...I wonder if it is a god too...
But, since it had faded that way, it probably didn't want to be bothered. Also, this was a clear evidence it was a god indeed, since invisibility isn't a common power for a dragon.
Alkaid decided to approach the Portal, looking for either other gods or mortals to acknowledge. Maybe I should try talking to this Zeth...I suppose he can talk somehow, even though he's a planet...

((How many other people are there around the Portal, apart from Blue, Majem, Legion and Teal?))
