Hmmm... Looks like I'm gonna have to delay my class a bit longer... This is going to take a while. Laserbolt took out his custom "do not disturb" sign that he had in his bag, and hung it on his door. He then walked back to his desk, and sat down to get started on his syllabus.

Okay. Wait, this place only has one class at a time!? That's a bit... unconventional. But okay. Thanks for the papers, Feather Scroll. I'm gonna go shack up in my room and figure out the class syllabus. It's been a while since I've taught. Laserbolt walked back to his room, fell over into the chair, and started reading through the notes and the text book.

Wow, thanks, Feather! This is gonna be a great help. I haven't taught in a while, so I may have to read this text book myself. Laserbolt reached for the documents as Feather Scroll handed them to him.Um... So where is everypony? The only people I've seen here are you, a janitor, and the secretary. Is the school between semesters, or years, or something? I would have thought the place would be swarming with students.

My name is Laserbolt! Well, I guess Prof. Laserbolt now. I'm pretty excited to be here, but I've lost my syllabus.I heard you were going to teach Magic Tinkering, and I thought you may have some notes or something I could borrow. Laserbolt looked around and took in the surroundings. It would be a huge help to me if you could lend some resources to me, if you have any. If not, that's cool, I can just compile stuff from the library, but it'll take time.

Well, that does help... Alright, time to get started on the syllabus. Luckily I brought the one from... Erm... Oh... Albion took all my notes when I resigned. Great... Laserbolt thought to himself for a bit.Let's see...That guy the secretary talked about was going to teach this, so maybe he has some notes I can borrow. Laserbolt walked down the hall to where the mark on the map indicated. Hey, is this Feather Scroll's room? Sorry if I'm interrupting anything. I'm a new teacher here, teaching Magic Tinkering, but I've lost my syllabus. Can you help me out? I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries here...

I would have to say. The concept is there, but instead of calling the evil one "Bad Harmony", which sounds kinda silly, maybe call him something, like the opposite of Harmony. Something as simple as Disharmony would work. That's just my two bits, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Laserbolt nodded, and looked at the map. It looked fairly easy to figure out where everything was. He bid the secretary farewell, and made his way to his room. The place was bigger than it looked, but it only took him a little while to make his way to his hall. He looked around, and noted that it was fairly small. That made sense. Magic Tinkering was hard to teach in large groups, due to the hooves-on nature of the subject. He plopped into the chair at the front of the room, and leafed through the papers. I gotta remember when my class is. Let's see...

Welp, thanks, ma'am. I've finished up the papers, and I'm ready for whatever comes next. This school is fairly reputable. When I was young, I almost went here, but didn't have enough money. I'd forgotten about it until that... what was it called? Void Entity? When it reminded me. Laserbolt slid the completed contracts over to the secretary, and smiled. Thanks for helping me through this. I don't really like going through this stuff, so it means a lot to me.

Erhm... alright... my... EAA. I can never remember that thing... alright, uhm... Laserbolt stood in front of the desk, looking a little baffled. Try 9456119, I think that's it. He started filling out the forms, making sure there wasn't any suspicious riders in it that would end up in tragedy for himself.

Hey, Majem, do you mind if I enchant these? I'm pretty sure I can make this shield protect against mind attacks... Laserbolt started to focus on the shield in an attempt to bolster it further. The shield began to glow, then the glow faded away.

Laserbolt sighed. So much for the direct approach. Alright, where do i sign up for the appointment? I'm interested in teaching Magical Tinkering. Some wandering magus told me about the place, and he had some interesting magic to show for his time here.

Adventure, huh? Alright, but don't expect me to get in too close. Do you have a ballista or something? I like those much better. Laserbolt examined the spear and shield. He didn't like getting up close and personal, but had a little experience with some weapons. A spear's just a stick, really...Can't be that hard, yeah?

Dang it... I thought it was a great idea...Laserbolt about-faced, and galloped back down the hall, eager to remove himself from the miasma of stench swarming around him. As soon as he caught up with the rest of the group, he decided to ask Majem about the letter he recieved.So, Majem, what exactly was the point of leaving me that letter? You could have just talked to me, it's not like I set up appointments or anything...

Seeing as there's no appreciation for Magical Tinkering at the Adepts' school... The spat with Albion, the current headmaster, still left Laserbolt steaming. He'd fought with him before, but this was the first time Albion had outright insulted his art! Laserbolt decided to take a "working vacation", although he was sure Albion would see it as a show of abandonment, which is how Laserbolt wanted him to see it. When he heard of Laserbolt being accepted to teach at another school, he'd want him back and working immediately! The plan had its flaws, but Laserbolt didn't care. Soon, he would be Dr. Laserbolt of the Royal Academy of Magic! He walked up to the receptionist and asked if they had any spaces left in the teaching roster. Who exactly is the headmaster, and where can I see him?

Hmmm. Ponies that way... Spider back there... Bats down there... The choice seemed perfectly obvious, but the bats could be guarding something, and the spider could be reasoned with. The bestiary he read at home said spiders that size could eat what ever they want... If I grab some bats from down there, I could use them to feed the spider, thus befriending it, and lead it back to where everypony was. However, I don't much like bats or spiders... But I do like an advantage. Laserbolt turned to the right and sauntered down following the smell of feces. This could be a really good idea, or a really bad idea...
