Activity: I get on occasionally, when I'm not being harassed by my parents.

Planned race: Earth Pony, gotta be a defender some how.

Reason to join: Traveling has always been a famous thing in my life, both in my stories and real life. Plus, somepony needs to have a guardian to walk them places and through the Everfree Forest.

Lookong at the herd members so far it seems pretty friendly, and i've always liked travellers' associations.  It doesn't seem to be closed just yet, so here's my app:

OC Name: Feather Scroll and Juniper Blossom (i have two oc's)
Forum Name: The Wandering Magus
Activity: (Note that I will not judge on activity) uncertain what you want here, but i am pretty much around every day and plan on being that way in the future when the game comes out.  I will probably be in the nearest quest location in-game, trying to do all the quests in sequence.
Planned race: (If not decided yet then leave blank.) One to be unicorn, still deciding on juniper.
Reason to join: (Any reason will do really, I am just more curious on that regard) i am interested in travelling based herds and soloers in general (which travellers generally are).  If you're not soloers then i am also interested in being part of a group of wanderers, possibly helping out combat-wise as a crowd control-healer-buffer (i played loremaster in LOTRO).

As for the skype thing, I love skype use it now in fact to chat with some groups, it's just that I voiced my concern that many does not want to use voice chat, and thus would make it seem required to have a skype, which might cause some to leave, and less that would join.
But on that note, it might be a good idea to have a chat, but also that it's mostly for chilling until the game is out.

You know, we Haylanders seem inactive, but that's because our primary means of interaction is through a Skype group, I'd highly recommend this, it's a great way to get to know your comrades and can be quite a good laugh at times, anyway just thought I'd rear my ugly head in your thread to see how ya'll were doin', better be off to do really super secret important herd stuff now (not really, but still  ) Take care, Travellers Blessing!

A Skype group is a good idea. And we could definitely use it for vocal chat in the game.

Well, then there's the issue of someponies not liking to talk over skype.
Like me, and with my recently broken mic it's rather hard to have voice chat.

But it could be arranged to make some kind of herd chat over it.

Well, I tend to disagree, you have been very loyal to this project, I've seen you here since I first jumped into the forums, and there got to be something you're good at, if not just that you can do a lot of things in a not too bad manner.

Also, yes I made my avatar myself, might even be convinced to make on for others, though I can not say how long it might take.

So, tried to get another host, and this time a server that's smaller and cheaper, and hopefully more stable.

I have only just now paid for it, and will as soon I get the prober info and get it up and running prober say the IP.

Music eh?
I've never learned to play anything, though I love listing to instrumentals, especially string based music hits a soft spot in me, organs too.
Have recently taken to like brass instruments.

As for me, I'm also into drawing, though never learned to paint prober, and stick to paper, pencil, and digital arts. Mostly pony as of late, but have started going back to animeish or mangaish style. But I have sporadic outbursts of art, and sometimes I can not even start drawing because of a lack of inspiration.

I also love learning about cultures, mostly far eastern, such as Chinese and Japanese. Which have also given me a love for travelling, it's not for nothing that Travius is a travelling pony.

I was minding my own business, and eating some flowers on my most recent travels, when some rapid bees appeared out of nowhere and chased me into a well, and that's how I became pink.
Happened just the day before.

Oh, on the topic of MMOs, I've tried quite the few, most noteworthy for me I would say is WoW and Mabinogi.
The former is mostly because it was a way for my family to have some fun together, yes my parents play it, both in very high levels, I left it mostly because it seemed to me that everything in the gave was centred around your level. One could not become a mater blacksmith without being in level 85 too, annoyed me to no end that it was all about how epic you were, and always there would be some that are way stronger than you.
Heck, it even infected the guild system, and most, if not all, guilds are now another way to grind to get the highest level, and one have to be lvl 85 to get be able to level the guild up prober.
Pardon that rant about levels, I'm just not fond of it being central to everything in a game.

As for Mabinogi, I really like it's skill system, and combat system, though I admit combat is fairly hard, especially with high latency. But also you can still play it without hurting anything ingame, which is a thing I really hope that LoE will have too, I mean really, a pony killing something in blood-lust, something I hope not all will do.
Back to Mab, the reason I rarely play it any-more is because it's clearly too hard to manage by those that have the rights to it, as there are a huge list of errors that only the management and support staff could fix, even the EU servers were closed down because they had somehow failed to update them prober when they upgraded the generation. So, no new cards to new players, until they closed it down.

As for TESO, I will try it when it's complete, and I do hope it will be grand.
But as Daswed said, they have as of yet only made singleplayer games, so I'm mighty curious to see if they manage to do it right, or completely wrong.

Also, LoE will be the first where I will try to be social, all other games I've only played with friends.
This herd was also something to kick it up with,  me being social.

Hey, what's up with everypony here? Don't die, please This looks like a promising herd, it would be an utmost shame to see it go.

It's only reached a moment of inactivity. Though I must admit, I've checked this thread quite a few times to see if anything new happened, and was disappointed to see that nothing did. Herds don't serve much purpose now, and I'm sure that when the game is released the activity will come forth once again. But we should, at the very least, keep this thread alive to attract new members.

Indeed, I'm sorry that I've not been active here for awhile, I am just in the middle of exam times, and all that.

And well, I've held this in a while, I will not let it fall apart just yet, at least not without a formal message stating that.

Umm, as for the server, did you read the last post I made, It's far too unstable for prober usage.
This IP will be closed from next month on, thus it's fairly useless to add new people to the list.

And well, the skins are what the player sets them to, the server have no plugins for that alter, nor adds pony skins itself.

I'm sad to say that, due to instability of the server and very little activity, that The server will only run for this month, and then I might run a server from another host, but I can not guarantee that the world will be kept.

As my human-self, still a blank flank but for different reasons.
(I'm a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none" so I wouldn't classify anything I do as a talent at the moment)

I myself, am the same, I can do a lot of things, have found myself only good at most, but not excellent, not talented, just another person that knows a bit in a subject, another Gray one.

So I have no real talent, except for being repulsive, which I seem to have a knack for...

I quite enjoy RPing myself. The only reason that I don't do it here is because I fear that I'd screw everything up somehow.   

Occasionally on IRC-like chat things I pull other friends into it without them realizing. 
In game I definitely see myself RPing though.

me too roleplay keeps up the spirit. so while we wait. cant we make a roleplay for the herd?

Well, I could start one, but I will hardly manage it, this forum is too active for me to do it prober, and I have tonnes of stuff to take care of.

On a side note, remember that one may make some three characters in the game, and I would like that only one character per user in this herd.
Just for a good order, and that's why I asked for the OC name too, so that one may have other herds to join with another character.
