The server is updated to 1.4.4, and also I would recommend that all place a sign by their home to tell whom owns it, as I've noted a few homes without any 'owner sign' on it.

It will make my work with helping out after a thievery easier.

*Sigh*
Why are Mojang pumping out updates enmasse at the moment... It will delay the bukkit update with a few weeks, pardon this annoyance..

I was on the server yesterday on my laptop and 90% of my stuff was gone, my dogs were dead(still), and my snowman was dead, I think the thief killed my dogs and snowman and took all my stuff  :'(

Edit: They also took from my farm as I saw fertile soil with no plants in it and my farm is private property...

My goodness, pray do send me a private message about what you lost and I shall see to trying to compensate for your losses. Also would be grand if you could tell what time frame this happened in.

And I will apply some manner of protection as soon bukkit is up, hopefully then this wicked person who does these wicked deeds will be banished from my server.

I was about to go on the server since MC updated figuring the server was updated, but sadly t'was not. But I can't wait until it's updated for 1.4.4 

I will update it as soon obsidian-host have found out it have been updated.

Also, I'm planning to try and make some underground city or something akin, that being, a huge dung out area underground that spans at the least 40x40x20, the size will depend much on how much help I get, and how motiveted I myself am when it comes to it.

But sadly, they are looking for a non-premium one, and my server currently does not support it, thus why they did not ask me directly, I presume.

Varies, but now a days the number is less than before, but abouts 3-8 unique logins per day, likely a few more.
As the list I have only says who's been on latest, and not the exact days.

So, sadly, I must report that New-Wheatshire have been a failure, due to it becoming a site for theft more than once, so if one have their valuable stuffs dear, do not build near those cords.

Also, pray do report if anypony have been a victim of theft, over a PM to me.

the racial abilities are fine, but I would change things to make the ores grow only redstone, iron, and coal.  to keep things balanced.  ((seriously take a look at the underwater city(in progress) that me a Daswed made, there's and chest with some 15+ stack of diamond blocks in it...was going to make a diamond tower with it.))

also, you might consider looking into something that'll give the abilities to players. maybe certain locations, or goals.  I'd have to look up what plugins are out there.

Well, the issue is that I've only noted the flight being used, and of what I understand it's too complicated the rest of the things with runecraft and commands.
I wanted this server to be light and only hold the plugins needed for keeping it safe and working.

Also, the founding of 'New Wheatshire' have started at x255 z-154

I will update the server shortly, and with a new map, just until I get bukkit updated, and add a multi-world plugin too.

Pardon this delay of sorts.

Also, I am also very much reconsidering the race bonuses, and have come to the decision that it was likely not the best way I did it, and thus I will ask you all to tell if I should keep it, or just revert the server to almost being a vanilla one, save for the practicality of Runecraft teleporters.

Well, you've obviously made more friends than I here. I've made maybe five good ones, and even then I never get to talk to them because of timezones and school and such, and even then there's only a few things we can talk about that doesn't step over the line of them not caring. If I've learned anything from being here, it's to expect people to never care. Trying to tell someone about something they won't care about, it just makes them hate you. That's my experience, anyway.

Well, I have only made very few real friends here, bouts some 5-7, but those I've made are the best I've had, at times one is unlucky and meets one who does not care for others than themselves, but also one must take care not to become that pony.
And you know, more often than not, it's speaking about it as openly this forum is, that makes it harder to gain solid friends, as one might need to show much more psychological strength and durability than is actually there. I've more than once stood on the brink of depression, but I would try my best at only telling my closest friends about it, and otherwise keep my face clean of negative emotions.
Also, if you need to talk about something with someone in private, then you can always talk to me, I'll listen and I promise on my everything that I will not tell anypony about it.

But again, I must say I'm sorry for trying to help, and give this clearly bad advice, but I can not help but doing it when I can try. Pardon that I care about you.

But yes, I must apologise for straying offtopic, I will now proceed from this post on, with just lurking untill anything shiny catches my sight.

Some of us are still holding back on posting about sensitive or controversial things. I mean, one of my passions is rather controversial here in the USA, so I haven't really said a single thing about it here.

I also do admit, I'm holding quite the bit back, as I'm quite sure that if I spoke my mind on most the topics I have an opinion on, then I would be shot down quicker than I could post again, due to my opinions being rather, well, atypical.

Another thing I have noted, which is a homebrewn theory in essence, and also might have been formulated by some clever mind which I do not want to know of at the moment, is that for a topic to be interesting it have to hold a relation to oneself, one example is the 'wonderbolts/blue angels' that opened, while I deem the title of it interesting, I also myself have no knowledge on these blue angels, pardon that I took a direct example it's something I would have avoided, but I did so need an example for this.

Another reason I never post is because my posts go unnoticed or get deleted by admins anyway, and I usually fail to see the point in posting anything. The fact that I even posted this is mind-boggling to me.

You surely posted this to be noticed Which did succeed, least to me it did, but also a piece of advice mister, is that while evereypony wants to be unique, special, and such. It all have a root in being noticed, and I've long ago realised that I have all the attention I could ever need from those friends I made here, and other places.
The best way to be noticed is to find those who might stay loyal, listen to their trouble and try and help with that as well.

That's just some of the wisdom I've gathered trough these last few years, and it did take quite the while till I found it to be true, and even still I feel unnoticed, but usually that lies on either myself craving too much attention, or that those I can speak to are simply not there at the time.

Yes I just went on a quite long moral rant which may be completely wrong and is to be taken with a grain of salt If I am wrong.

My do guess that it's mainly that just this time of year is quite, well, bleak, and everypony have something to do with their own time.
And I do admit I'm currently lurking here, but my main reason for that is that I feel that there is no topics I dare answer to, that I've not already posted on that is. Another reason for my inactivity is that I've been here so long, and everything have changed so very much.

Quite frankly, there is few topics that have been opened here that is not sensitive, nor quite boring.

That the next season is just around the corner does not quite help on the activity here either, where spoilers are not very quite permitted, I say.

bored? but haven't you been barely on of late? how did you manage to get bored?

hmmm, if that's the case why don't you look into a multi-world plugin. that way players can work on their current builds and you can start a new map as well.  you might want to wait until 1.5 comes out though; since the witch's hut's are map generated.

Well, that's the effect, me not being on the server, because I am rather bored with the world.

And, you know I'm no good with those odd plugins.

Why do I keep getting crashed when I enter the server? o:

Well, it seems that right now the Minecraft login-servers are down. So I have no answer.

When I try to get on the server keeps going like "End of Stream."

I restarted the server, and it should be running now proper again.

Also, I have gotten the feeling that this world we use is starting to get a bit, well, stretched so I started considering to reset it sometime.
Note that the old world will be easier to retrieve than on the olden server, so if the world is no good or we simply want to have the old world again it can be done on a short notice.
