I haven't done an Amnesia: The Dark Desent RP. But I know many ways to keep it in line.
Lovecraftian? I think it can be done and done well. As long as it clings to the rules.
Galactic Ponies? Magus did a cosmetology RP and it worked (I always wanted to be in his RPs but I never could be

If your looking for a Sci-fy RP.... that will only work in the RPers in the RP KEEP the feeling of Sci-fy. Trust me on that.

Thank you all for you input. I enjoy it. And agree at many levels. I know the rules aren't to hinder ability.
I still RP with magus n' such. He's awesome. Teal is awesome. Nova disappeared. And others? I don't know. Also.

Are ya kidding? If you jump into an RP, you should ask what the setting is and what is happening. Sum all that up and give it to the person who's asking, then the RP won't take a random, unpredictable, turn. There are simple ways around these problems. It's just a matter of not getting to frustrated when said problem happens.
If your talking about my list, they're supposed to be vague. And yes. I remember when it was Teal, Nova, Magus, ect. who were starting the RPs now? Amateurs are starting them. I'm great at RPs. But starting a group RP on the forums and managing them, I am a noob at.

The island is small. And it has a mystical property. (which is hard to sum up)
It is extremely hard to find, and when you drop anchor, there is no going back.
How small it is: A little less than the size of two jumbo trampolines. It has two palm tress. A small cliff in the back that acts as a diving board. The rest is sand and a few rocks, which, if small, can be picked up. If large, are lodged in the ground.
It's abnormal quality: If you wish for something, it will be granted by the sea. You don't know how many wishes you have. Word your wishes well to benefit from them. All that comes from the ocean will wash up on the shore almost instantly, as if by magic.
"I wish for coffee" Thus, a small amount of coffee appears in the ocean.
"I wish for a coffee mug with a cap" Thus, a small canister of coffee will appear in the ocean, within reach.
A point: I remember the long, well made, complex RPs magus, others made. And they were successful... I want to be successful while keeping everything fun and simple.

Yes I am aware. I've done RPs in the past and they ended up being a flop because there were two many players who weren't active or too many players in general. NOW we seem to have a few. However I will have sign ups.

He was simply much shorter, and significantly thinner than the average stallion. In other words: He's only 60% of the average weight, height, mass and density of the regular stallion.
