The blue on her wing disappeared and the glowing stopped. She said with a higher pitched voice then earlier "wa... What happened? Why do I feel so... Young?"

She happily got up on his head. The blue on her wings and her eyes started to go bright. She completely stopped moving.

Melody tilted her head and spread her wings as if she wanted a hug. She let out a few baby-like sounds. She didn't seem like she knew anything at all.

After a few seconds, the crystals covered her whole body. Without warning, the crystal then exploded into a fine magic-filled dust. Melody was now smaller then before and her wings had a strange glowing blue at there ends.

The magic had no effect as it was reflected away from her. Also, frozen crystals (not actual ice) were forming around her.

Melody slowly got on her feets although she didn't have any balance. She said with a weak voice "ouch... Is he gone?"

The eagle stopped just before the shield. He let out a groan and said to Melody "stupid ponies. I'll be back for your feathers Mel." The eagle flew away at extreme speed and was already off sight.

Melody (that bird in the sig if you were uncertain) was diving downward towards everyone as she was flying away from an eagle which had its wings on fire. While both were dropping altitude, the eagle was swinging its wings, sending more fireballs toward the group as melody mostly dodged them. Not looking where she was at, melody actually crashed right in front of everyone. The eagle saw that as an opertunity to land on her neck with his talons and neutralize her so he sped up, preparing to strike.
