((Moon, you're in a nearby cocoon.  feel free to make noises and draw the others to you.   as for the trap....what trap? when did you guys leave a trap, or is it that you're planning to leave one?  also, Laserbolt; you can't see the Spider Queen...))

... Aaaare you sure you're reading my posts? I've mentioned it several times already :U Allow me to quote...

"Yeah, tell me bout it... Least now the burns are gone with these potions... Maybe if we time this right and it does decide to come back... Eh, Range, You think you could imprison it when it comes back?" Crimson asks.
"If I get right onto making a trapping seal, you bet." She says, getting up in a hurry as she starts setting up an imprisonment trap. Only this time, still connected manually through her mana and this time much bigger to account for an increase in mass.
Crimson grunts to stand up and walks over in order to assist Range. "Hey, I'm not gonna let you get trampled over this time. Standing right by you, alright?" Range paused a little bit, letting the thought sink in a bit before she smiled.
"Y-Yeah. Thanks."

Crimson begins to pick up his communicator and replies back with further explanations. "Moving at the speed of Range's enhanced abilities as of recent should triple output of all our attacks. We've got a total of 7 active attacking members on the squad once this pulls off; not including the conjured magma spiders. Magmaris, if you can, put your constructs on distraction while we try to trap the queen; Try to get it within the matrix as closely as possible and then we'll have clearance to strike with an unrelenting force. As far as when the trap is going to be finished, Don't worry, just a few more seconds to add disruption prevention and we'll have everything set up. Everypony get the plan thus far, or need me to clarify things?"

"Failsafe's are set! No way this thing's getting disrupted now." Crimson announces into his communicator as he picks up Range. "C'mon, let's fall back before we get squashed again. Anypony can find me, might be your last chance to get a little bit of healing in. I can't fix any of your acidic burns unless we have a potion; I can ration the one you have into working for the entire team. Otherwise, any other trauma done I can fix." He says as he falls back to Price. "TC on the other hand, I might be able to do some repairs if we could spare any alloy fragments to patch him up."

I've stated it enough times already that it should have been recognized much earlier than you have now, Rundo...

"What?" Crimson asked, not believing how persistent Tian seems to be on letting their enemies live. "This is our chance to ensure we don't get blind sighted by that thing again!"
"Crimson, please..." Price muttered out, "She has a point. If we can just trap the spider, we won't have to worry bout it anymore. Or at least for as long as the mission applies."
"But Price, there's a good chance a bunch of webbing and rock can't..." Crimson tried to explain, but instantly got cut off by Price.
"I'm calling the shots for this family, Crimson. Call off the assault, make sure that Spider can't leave where it stands. We'll just have to hurry and finish the objective before it breaks loose."
Crimson sighs. "Fine... You're really trying to cut this one close for us, aren't ya?"
"No. Our job is to infiltrate and neutralize the target. We can get away with leaving them unharmed; Heck, think about it this way: If we bring back our target alive the reward might be much worth the hassle. Believe me or not, not every battle can be solved by throwing swords every which way... The choices we make do have an outcome that could affect anything in a massive way. If we chose to swing a sword away at every problem, make us no better than a wild, primitive animal. But we all are - You are... You're much smarter than that."
"You're the boss... Alright, everypony got that? Range, Use those pillars instead to create a Prison... Just to make sure it won't break out on us again." Crimson says, bit calmly but also a little bitter about the choice Price is making... Even if he does make a great point.
104
Price chuckles, thinking Tech might be onto something." That sounds good - no, that's a great idea,  It'll increase our chances of getting the spider to stay still while we pull the trap on him. Think you guys have enough wing power to pull webs from all around with a tornado?"
"Failsafe's are set! No way this thing's getting disrupted now." Crimson announces into his communicator as he picks up Range. "C'mon, let's fall back before we get squashed again. Price sighed as he sat back. "Yeah, and hey, maybe once we get Hallow Shades somepony will know what's up?" He took a deep breath and then let it all out. "You know, never thought I'd hear these words out of my mouth, but it feels so great to be back on a battlefield. Just finally a good chance to back away from being an Ambassador dealing with other politicians and getting back to doing what I originally sigh-... No... Not signed up for... Forced into for 26 years. After so long, you start thinking the place your purpose mattered most was on the lines of battle. The excitement... Thrills of the high stakes, the reward, the challenge. And kids, just remember this." He says, catching their attention. "Your sword is a tool of justice: Not to be used in vengeance, but to protect the weak. Rule of Nature states the strong prey on the weak. We're here to prevent that."
"Then... Wouldn't we be the strong and they become the weak?" Polar asks.
She'd gotten him pretty good with that sentence; would the role become reversed if we preyed on the strong? "Y-...Yeah... But..." He says, actually in a bit of a spot here. "The point is when the strong prey on the weak for the wrong reason... That's when our time to strike is right." He finished up with what the best reply he could mutter.

" On the other hoof," Price breaks into Tech's conversation with Noy. "Crimson's gotten an idea that could work in if we all agree to work together on this..." Price says, searching through his saddlebag for his communicator and radios in on the entire team. "Everypony, listen up: Crimson here has a plan that could work. Earlier, Range used her alchemical powers to give Crimson's abilities a higher amount of damage due to a buffering of increased speed to apply enhanced force.  We want everypony to gather round and get into defensive positions once we get the spider imprisoned within the trap Range and Crimson set up, and we're going to allow Range to propel us over to the enemy, and all at once we will strike."

Crimson begins to pick up his communicator and replies back with further explanations. "Moving at the speed of Range's enhanced abilities as of recent should triple output of all our attacks. We've got a total of 7 active attacking members on the squad once this pulls off; not including the conjured magma spiders. Everypony get the plan thus far, or need me to clarify things?"
107
"Noy's right... We're potentially walking into a trap If we try looking for it... At least we know it's not giving up on fighting just yet. I'm not sure if we're in any position to start to track it in our condition alone, even... This will give your plan some complications, Crimson." Price had came up with from his analysis of the situation.

Ey, I'm trying to squeeze RPing in from MGR Revengeance @.@ Getting a bit difficult; The game's kinda addictive XD

"Power can be abused. That's what everypony keeps telling me, but I see that it's the other way around; Power abuses us. The stronger one becomes, the easier it is to fall out of ones morals, easier to find a way to use their power that benefits themselves. Intelligence could also be said to have the same principles; Intelligence and insanity being two sides of the same coin. Knowledge, although a godsend, can override ones natural thinking, being drawn more and more to their own side of enlightenment... In the end, they've gained so much knowledge that they gave up other regular function in order to cope with their enlightenment... Part of me thinks that's what happened to the poor guy... Just part..." Price said, seeming to look away from everypony.
"W-What do you mean?" Polar asked, still not sure how to take all of this in.
"Well... Zinrax was perhaps an individual that became so smart that he just started to seem insane to the rest of us... And who knows; Maybe we appeared insane to him... And you know, maybe that insanity is why his own powers have caused no harm to others; his insanity kept his strength in check so as not to abuse it... He's managed to turn a deadly two sided coin into a lifesaving equilibrium within." Price said, thinking about it a little more. At this point, his face seemed to be in a bit of surprise, realization of what kind of stallion was their father.
"If he's our dad, does that make us crazy?" Black Star began to query.
Price chuckled as he rubbed his nephew's head. "Well to be fair, the entire family's a little bit crazy, but in a good and comforting way. Don't you worry, You and Polar are no different, Star."

After finishing with the Repair, Crimson and Price takes a moment to sit down and relax with as much as they could... what with the acidic burns and all.  "Nice work there, Crimson. With your skills, we'd probably be long dead... Speakin' of which, think you can handle a few more?" He said, looking over to the entire team.
"Yeah, I'm still handy... Gah, this acid is unbearable."
"I'd like to say I've been through worse, but... Gruh..." Price replies, then throws his hoof in the air and says. "Everypony, we got one good period of intermission right now. Gather round Crimson to heal all that he can if the enemy decides to return."

Range slammed her hoof to the ground, seeing that her countermeasures were a complete failure. With a slight limp and a grunt, she almost literally drags herself over to her brothers and rests her head on Crimson. "This fight is getting brutal..."
Nodding, Crimson replies. "Yeah, but we seem to have the strength to push on... Vital signs of everypony shows no immediate threat, but I'd much rather treat them right away. Vital signs of the Queen shows imminent failure; hopefully it made a hasty retreat. If not, just so long as we combine a large offensive strike, we can slay the beast... Range, Price you hear where I'm going with this?"
"Lemme guess," Price started." You want Range here to use the same thing you two did again; Launch everypony on separate pillars and make them attack in one large sweeping force?"
"Right on the money there, Price." He says, Grabbing a hold of some rubble around him, the pain of the acid burning through his skin still lingers. "If we can pull off this offensive, with a single focused attack, our combined forces can make a staggering force to be reckoned with."
Price nods. "Right, I'll be sure to go over the plan specifics before we take positions."

"Well, we wait a minute right now; Looks like Range got something planned out. Right now, lemme see what I can do bout the small bit of damage from earlier's debris." Crimson said as he starts to patch up what little he could.

:P I mentioned his alchemical abilities were capable of only bypassing certain injuries on its own. Most damage over time effects are unaffected by it, but cuts and blunt trauma are repairable... Just, wondering If I should bring this up cause you said nobody did anything else relevant... :T

:s against the mutant spider that dealt said poison damage...erm... I don't think that'll be effective enough.  a small amount of poison wouldn't effect her, anyway.  Moving at high speed probably made you lose most of that poison.  So yeah, dot 5 at best if she didn't have at least some degree of immunity.  That's the reason it didn't work.

Yeah, I have to agree with him on this one @.@ That's kinda be like injecting a cobra with it's own venom... What good will that do? :U

Range grunts, seeing that her brother's attack didn't work out as planned. "Well, Time for plan B!" She says, using that same pillar she used to move Crimson around to rise up and slam down on the queen, consistently applying the same force as she hopes to constrain it one it hits the ground. Good thing the acid was too close to the endpoint to have done anything to the pillar.

Price and Crimson gasps a bit as they hit the ground, feeling the burns of the acid eating through skin and armor. "I... I managed to hit some of the eyes. No doubt, theres going to be a few good blind spots to where we can start getting a few more hits in on that thing. Just so long as we keep moving so it can't see where we went..."
"Yeah... And sorry bout the acid, if we had a potion, I could use it to further catalyze the effects with alchemy but..." Crimson said, trailing off.
"But none of us brought them along, did we? Gah..." Price said, grunting a bit. "Well, what do we do now?"
"Well, we wait a minute right now; Looks like Range got something planned out. Right now, lemme see what I can do bout the small bit of damage from earlier's debris." Crimson said as he starts to patch up what little he could.

Yeah, It seems like you're really starting to miss a few things reading back.

"... That's... Actually quite accurate." Crimson said. Without much chance to react, Range starts to use her alchemy to shift the earth below Crimson and instead of creating a trap, rather it creates a pillar that seems to form in an odd shape that tries to get Crimson to his designated area. Wishing she'd given him some warning first, He throws his newly-created Scythe down at the Spider's abdomen.

If the pillar is bringing him over to the Spider, then obviously he's still moving, so for the damage done to him, the calculation of the increased movement speed has to be adjusted. I never stated he dropped down yet; That was for the next post.

Oh yeah, this is something very important I probably should tell before I decide to slap it into motion.

Price, of course, looks mildly different from any changeling drone COMMONLY known in Equestria. The hive his mother hailed from originally, Nekropolis acts vastly different from his behavior, but he does share a few traits with them, such as having a 2nd pair of eyelids for protection against bright lights, more perforated hooves, and elusive. One very important detail I wanted to make clear in the other RP is that on every Full Moon, members of Nekropolis undergo an unusual phenomena, going out of their usual consciousness and falling into a seemingly trans-like state. Should he come across somepony who is not a member of the hive... He will violently react without knowing what his actions are.

He usually carries around Anesthetics to keep the adrenaline levels from overflowing and clouding his mind. Although, ever since this RP, he's ran out, so afterwords, Smelling Salts are used a substitute to keep his consciousness in mind. Granted, in this state he has... Somewhat more control over his actions, his strength increases due to the hysteria he forces himself through. This, of course, has a serious drawback, as he could end up with damaged muscles or broken bones due to lactic acid production burning through tissues... That and with whatever increased force his attacks may have.

So, basically, heightened abilities in exchange for having self harm done, and quite possibly friendly fire. Soooo, in order to see how far he's into succumbing to it's effects, I wanted an extra meter that shows how progressed it is; The position his psyche is currently in.

Oh my dear sweet lord, this song!

Just... GAH! It get's you so pumped up and ready XD

The young one's ears rings when Froth finished speaking "Fa...Ther..." Polar asked, her brother looking at her. She seemed to be thinking about something, lost in her thoughts about her own father. She looks to Price and proceeds to ask. "Who... What was our father like, uncle?" The question, it seemed inevitable, throwing Price into a bit of surprise at first. He seemed somewhat nervous and looked away.
"Him..." He said. "Well... We all don't like to talk about him all that much. He was a nice pony, assuredly, but something about him just...  It rubs me the wrong way." They seemed to be at a loss for understanding Price, unsure of what he means. "Every time I passed him, I wasn't really sure if he was equine even... His unusual actions, his absence and odd appearances, his own magic... I've never stood next to somepony with a mana matrix so unstable that the laws of physics just seemed to... well, not apply to him."
To no avail, it didn't help them understand any better about what kind of pony he was. "What do you mean?" Black Star asked.
"I've seen him capable of levitation, silent teleportation, even teleportation of items without having visual sight of their location; I'm not even sure if many high-ranking unicorns had the capability or knowledge of such spells... Something about him..." He says, shaking his head. "I know I'm repeating myself, but what else can I say? Just... He was different... Something about that made me and your other uncle very... very suspicious of him."
118
(( Hm, I'm good either way. ))

"To be honest, not so much adventurer, but I'm Ambassador of Chrysalis's hive as of current day. You might have heard about the recent treaty - Everypony as of late has been trying to downplay that bit of news the past few months, but the basic rundown of the matter is that many of us felt there was a need for a new ruling over the hive, somepony who could represent them as a symbol of righteousness... Soooo, the best they could pick up was is the Ex-commander of our Reconnaissance branch..." Price says, pausing for a moment and then chuckling about it afterwards. "I've never gotten over how absurd the thought of it is : Me, a soldier that's been AWOL since the beginning of the Canterlot invasion suddenly becomes a political leader within his homeland... Well, I guess my relations with Equestria is what became my saving grace... That and your mother." Price said, picking up his niece and nephew and starts to hug them tightly, the both of them laughing as they try to escape his grip. "That's right, she and her brother have done more for me and my hive than I could even repay them. Without them, the entire hive would have just been left to rot in their own hysteria and aggression due to withdrawal."
119
Price nodded off to Arty and replied, "Good day, Mr. Brightshadow." The two young ones simply waved over to Arty, not having much to say at the moment.
120
Price grunts, seeing that everypony else is taking some serious damage. He looks down at the Spider's eyes and starts to aim his spear. "A soldier without his eyes is a soldier no more..." He mumbles to himself as he gets ready to slash away. "Let's see if the rule applies to spiders too!" He says as he makes a sweep across the Spider's eyes.
Crimson gets knocked away some distance, getting up afterwards to notice he has drawn a little bit of blood... Quite enough for him to work with. He uses his blood forming skills to start crafting a weapon, but instead of a scythe, it seems to be a 3-edged  throwing weapon, large enough for his entire hoof to hold. The entire design seemed like it was 3 scythes combined into a throwing weapon. He looks over at Range, noticing she's starting to get up, although her left hind leg seemed to struggle a bit where as her right seemed fine for the moment. "Range, Can you move around alright?"
She nods. "Barely, but If what you're asking can I fight, yeah."
"Good enough for us right now... We're taking a beating, but so is that spider." He says, looking at it closely. " It's vital signs are weakened by about 47% in only 2 conjoined strikes. If we can hit a little bit harder and faster, then this can be over in a matter of seconds."
"Quite the analysis there, field medic." Range said as she gets her full bearings. "I'm guessing you're next idea is to get me to vault you over to the spider for a good 2-hitter."
"... Meanwhile, Range gives off a smirk after she launches Crimson over into the battle.
