how the heck can i ask them to talk they nobody lives in cali or even heard of sacanime or sac con -.- but other side to that i think of awesome holidays for the game as for when its winter and close to spring we do winter wrap up we just completely just do everything just like the show and such

"nobody lives in cali" > Both myself and one other team member I know of live in california (Lawny.) There may be more that I am not aware of.
"or even heard of sacanime or sac con -.-" > Also untrue, at least for myself.
A little research never hurts anyone. I make it a point to not hide who I am, and thus my public profile location is set to Los Angeles ;).

i hope there will be djing in the club then i could party all the time as my oc pony XD
We are currently working on implementing a way to stream audio to the game, so we can do live shows. This means that there is a pretty huge chance there will be actual DJing.

Not quite as much gameplay coverage as I would've liked - looks like they're still mostly in the "make basic stuff work" stage - but hey, fireballs are great news, and Canterlot sounds cool too.
Like SweBow said, they were cut short and had to organize their time as such. There are a few things they didn't show, of which a majority may be more along the lines of what you're looking for. I'm sure he'll have those shown in his youtube video.
And if he doesn't, I'll be sure to kick his butt for it later, hehe...
Besides that, however, we technically are still in the "make basic stuff work" stage right now. That's the point of pre-alpha: get the tedious mechanics in, so we can have fun adding cool and interesting things during alpha. I anticipate that this stage will be most tedious on the programmers, but the next stage will be just as, if not more, tedious for the creative departments :P.

I'm glad to be of service. You're very welcome! ^-^

I'd recommend you use soundcloud so we don't have to download your clips to listen to them.

I think slagit would be a bit better if the lead instrument was more of a saw lead than a square lead.
And I think swarm needs more backing synths/bass during the heavy drum parts.\
Other than that, I really liked them!

I too have been wondering this. Though, when I want one of my threads deleted I report it to a moderator and say "Delete my thread please." They usually do it within a half hour or so. Though considering the fact that moderators have no reason to deny your request to delete your own thread for you, why can't you do this yourself? It probably was just not added yet.

That is no excuse, Madness. That means you defy logic and do it anyway!

First off, let me make sure I understand your issue. If, and only if, you have no profile picture currently set on your account, everyone else's pictures look like that? Or only some people when you do certain things?

Either way, it sounds like it could be as simple as clearing your cache. I don't know why or how any pictures could get confused, but assuming that no one else stole your picture, that's the only thing I can think of. It also kind of falls in line with the "only when there is no picture set" tid-bit. Again, however, I still don't yet fully understand the issue.

If you aren't sure how to clear your cache, Google.com is your best friend :).
Remember to only clear your cache. I would not recommend clearing your cookies or login form data, if you have that option. Clearing browsing history is up to you. That won't break anything.

I'm sure we'll release game footage and schtuff from Galacon for those who can't attend. So regardless of if you go, you'll get an update.
408
Agreed. It's too much work to disconnect gameplay from the server. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling the OP was a nice way of asking, "Can I have a taste of the game to play please? It just looks so cool." Sorry, but we can't do that. Even if there was an easy way to make it single player, we can't exactly go back to what was in the videos you saw, which is the other objection to us releasing something for you guys to play: we can't reveal any of our new work yet. Trust me when I say that I really, really, really want to update you guys on the awesome things we've added, but I am not allowed to because it would make the surprise at Galacon not very surprising at all.
I hate to do this to you guys, but you're going to have to wait until then. It's only three more weeks >A<.
We'll make sure it's worth the wait! ;)

To those who are wondering how much content to give Bloomberg, ask yourself this: "How long do I need it to be in order to convey my prowess of the English language?"As he's said many times, he doesn't care how much you give him. He's just looking for something to gauge your abilities with, so you need to be asking yourself that question, not him.

Hopefully Bloomberg doesn't mind my supererogatory interjection.

Can't you just replace you're computer? If it can't be replaced I think you can sue them for selling false merchendise unless there was a contract when you bought it.
That's not a very good idea. If it is a virus of some sort, in the absolute worst-case scenario, she can re-format and the virus will be 100% gone (unless it's a kernel rootkit.) If it's not a virus, and it's an ISP thing like SweBow is saying, then replacing the computer wouldn't fix it because she is still using the same network. Technically, if she's using a wireless network, any computer she uses in her home would mark her as a spammer. That's one way she can test: use another computer. If using another computer still marks you as a spammer, it's your ISP, if it's a virus (assuming her computer is the only one with it), then using another computer won't trigger the spammer alert.

I'm not trying to be rude, that's just the way I normally talk.
That doesn't make it any more okay to speak like that to others. Please try to be more aware in the future of how what you say will be taken by others.

I'll just suggest you both stop arguing. I may completely respect both your opinions on each other but I don't want any form of true argument on the forums. It sets a bad example and it could get you in trouble because I'm not afraid to report friends.

On Topic:

Best of luck to everybody.
100% ditto and Thank You ^-^.

Yeah. He PM'd me saying he couldn't get the record button to work; it's grayed-out. The only thing I can think of is that it doesn't like his input device settings, or he is trying to record after he played the song a little bit.

No, infamous. Famous means well known for a good reason, while infamous means well known for a bad reason. It's an english thing, SweBow ^-^.

all of her IPs are marked as being a spammer. My best guess is the ISP use a Proxy and thats why she is marked as a spammer even if her computer might be clean.
You should listen to SweBow. He is an IT for a living.

If we want new people, we make sure you guys know about it. Come to think of it, I haven't heard that we stopped looking for people since we last announced it, actually. So anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be a Programmer, 3D Modeler/Animator, Concept Artist, or 2D Artist, then please click here and make an application.

Dat programming list...
Glad to see there's progress being made though!  ^-^
It's actually not as big as it seems, fortunately. It's just that it's easier to describe what needs to be done programmatically than what needs to be done artistically, so the list appears longer. I've also gotten a huge chunk of one of the things done already.

I dont know how to record my voice over the song itself.
First download the instrumental and the original of the song. Next download Audacity. All you have to do is open the instrumental and the original into audacity (open one, and then import the other.) Then mute the instrumental and press the record button. You should hear the music play as it's recording. When you're done singing, mute the original, and unmute the instrumental. Ta-da! Perfectly sync'd singing to music.

After a while it can be xD
Especially after the "Noooooooooo" part.

Fortunately I have a bass voice that I think is approaching baritone, so it's that not hard to do it.

I made another random recording for you all. Though, this one actually does make some sense and is probably way more enjoyable. Let me know what you think! :D

If hyper drive [HD] wants his vote to count, then yes he does.

I understand that it's a little bit weird to have to type so exact on a forum where your creativity is seldom limited in any way, but in order to make this easier on Anya and myself, I wrote the bot to read your posts. This means you must post in a specific way, and even then it's not that hard. Just make sure you start off with "I nominate <name> because " and then you can type to your heart's content. I only ask that you make sure four words are typed in a specific way. That's it; Just. Four. Words.

Now, technically, you don't have to type that way, but then your vote won't count. So if you want your vote to count, make sure you type in the format both I and Anya have specified. Thank you! If you've already made a post and it needs to be fixed, simply edit it.

As a side note: I intend on improving this system by hopefully making a web app you can use instead of this clunky, annoying thread thing. This should be a one-time thing, don't worry guys.
