Moonlight awoke from a very disturbing sleep. She had been very ill and still did not feel at her best. She had no idea what time it was or what was going on in the school at the moment. She took a sip of water and slowly trotted into the hall. Hello? Nopony answered. She exited the dormitory and walked through the school, quietly calling ponies names. Nova? Skyler? Teal?

Moonlight, still sitting at the back of the class near Ryo, was not feeling so good. She had been blanking out when the professor had talked about the donuts, and she was now sick with hunger. Feeling miserable, hungry, sick, and tired, she barely noticed when the two ponies walked to the back where she was.

Moonlight starts impatiently tapping her hoof, creating little bursts of light around her to keep herself entertained. Moonlight was not a patient pony. She started humming a tune, the same one Skyler was singing last night. She started rolling her eyes and flipping her hair and other distracting things. Then she notices Ryo. The lights disappear and she stops humming. A small squeal escapes her lips.

Moonlight looked up at the dimmed lights, and let out a sigh. What a rough night that was. I can't believe I met so many ponies in just a few hours. she says out loud. Maybe I shouldn't have sat at the back, this could have been a chance to make new friends...

Moonlight had entered the classroom, but didn't know where to sit, so she went to the very back and sat down next to Ryo, not realizing that he was there. Moonlight pulled out her things and got ready for class to start.

Moonlight didn't know where to get breakfast, so she pulled all of her class materials together and trotted to class with an empty stomach.

So you say your the dragonology teacher? I had a friend back in my old magic school that loved dragonology. You know, I learned a spell from him. Let me see if I can do it. Moonlight concentrates hard, and a small golden dragon appears. It starts circling Shard's head before letting out a blast of flame and catching Moonlight's book on fire. Oops! Moonlight quickly summons another dragon, this one blowing a gust of wind, which blows out the tiny bonfire.

Moonlight navigates her way to the library, where she finds the Ancient Civilizations of Equestria book and sits down to start reading.

Moonlight sits down at her desk and practices spell she got from books in the Royal Canterlot Library. Her horn glows light pink, and miniature sun and moon start circling each other in front of her. The sun gets bigger, and the moon gets brighter. The sun explodes, creating a black hole, sucking in bent paperclips and other junk from her desk. Then it goes on to clear crumbled up paper off the floor. The black hole fades, and Moonlight's room is neat and clean. Moonlight summons a small glowing light, and makes her way into the hall.

Moonlight wakes up, not feeling too good. She lays back down, closes her eyes, and goes back into the same nightmare from before, but this time Luna's flames spell something out: "I AM FROM ALASKA" Moonlight wakes up again. Okay, no more late night chatting with ponies I don't know. Moonlight gets up from bed and paces around her room.

After an awkward conversation with Pyro, Skyler, and Parchemin, Moonlight finally found herself getting tired, and went back to her room, where she fell asleep. There she dreamed that she was being chased by Luna, dressed up in a pilot's suit, and throwing fireballs from her horn.
