I give it up now. I don't want to wait any longer. I will use the February client now to get into the game, even when that means that I can't see the new additions.
I still hope that the clients get all fixed soon, but for now, I will use the client from last time.

I need to chill and relax first after that desastrous experience once I finally get into it.

It does work in the way that you can enter the game and play, but you won't be able to see any new additions and features that were to it in the newest version of it.

It all depends on it if Natfoth can solve the problem I have right now that keeps me from getting into the game since the start of the weekend.
If I can, we will definitely play Hide & Seek together, don't worry!
I have planned to switch it over to Ponyville after some rounds, but if Ponyville can't be entered we will just stay in Canterlot instead.
I just don't know if I can still hold today's event as the start of it is approaching fast and I don't know when Natfoth will be ready.
But there's still another Hide & Seek event with Scootaloo on Sunday at 12:00 PM EST, so you have another chance for one.

This can happen when you play a pegasus or an earth pony, because Ponyville and Cloudsdale don't work. The only solution for you would be to play a unicorn.
Though, the problem shouldn't happen anymore now. Natfoth uploaded a new 32-bit client just now. Check the main page and download the updated client.

In addition to what CoFFian said, it doesn't let me to the server list. I can start the client just fine (though, the music of the title screen is turned off at the start and when turned on it sounds distorted), but when I try to login it replaces the server list with some strange list that mentions cutie marks, items and other things.
I also filed a Helpdesk report for that, but no answer so far.

I hope this build will work then, because currently, none of the two Windows clients work.

You pick at this game at any time, for any reason, be their real issues or not, and you often portray your own, personal bad luck with getting into the game as the objective and undeniable general state of the game, while a lot of others clearly have no problems at all to get into it, which really makes me (and I bet a lot of other players too) wonder if you're just here to try to ruin the reputation of this game, by bringing up other players against it with lies and false reports about the game being unplayable.

I made a helpdesk entry now and hope that some of the devs will answer me quickly on this.
Nothing does work. I download either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the game and it happens the same every time:
I start the game, start menu has no music. I turn on the music, it sounds strangely distorted. I ignore it and click on "Login", confirm my username and password and instead of the server list to choose from, a strange list appears that tells me about cutie marks and items and scripts, ect. and that is strangely headered with "Server List".
And that's it. Nothing goes from there on.
The strange thing is, it worked for a short moment after almost three hours of trying. I could log into Griffonia, came to the character selection screen and could create Scootaloo and the game only crashed when I tried to enter Cloudsdale with her. I tried it a second time and it crashed again.
Then I accepted that and decided to play as Sweetie Belle instead, which I had planned to do for a while already anyway and this was the perfect opportunity since the game was forcing me to play a unicorn anyway, and then it didn't work anymore suddenly and this strange list appeared instead of the server list.
I'm completely helpless on this. Has anypony else this problem and knows what to do?
A solution for the problem beside deleting the folder in C:\User\Name\AppData\LocalLow? Because that doesn't work for me.....

I have decided to get to sleep for a few hours now and give myself and my computer a little rest.

Only Canterlot works from the three start towns, so you must play a unicorn for now.
