Blue smiled and fixed Cookies mane, in case somepony came. "You want to talk about it? They say it helps, and i'd be happy to listen." She said caringly, and added "Do you need anything? Are you thirsty or hungry?"

Blue finished the new batch of medicine for Cookie, then she realized something. "Stupid little me..." She said, put the bottle on a table next to Cookies bed so she can reach it and left a note under it. She then ran through camp, checking if anypony else shows the same symptoms as Cookie. Applebuck was still sleeping so she did just a quick check up, and everypony else looked fine. Blue sighed in relief and returned to Cookie.

Blue checks Cookie, shes weak but stabile. "Well, your out of the worst." Blue smiled. Then she rubbed her head, her throat started to feel sore and she led out a gentle cough. She looked on the bottle of medicine, there was some left. "Might as well try my own medicine..." She said and drank the rest of the bottle. Her eyes opened widely, she put the bottle as far as her hoof alowed her. "This tastes horrible..." She whispered. She put the bottle away and started to prepare another, this time adding something to smoothen the taste.

Blue sighed and felt powerless, nothing she tried to calm Cookie worked. Only other option was a sedative, but that was out of the question in Cookies state. Blue sit next to her and watched.

Blue tried to hold her in place whispering in her ear. "Its okey. Everything is okey. You just need to calm down, please." Hoping that she would somehow hear her.

The turning woke Blue up, she looked around and noticet how Cookie is sweating. She gently placed her in the other bed and covered her in just one blanket. Then she tidied up the wet bed before sitting next to Cookie and continuing to watch over her.

Blue tucked Cookie in and watched her, after a while she felt tired. She laid next to Cookie, using her own body to worm her a bit more, and before long she was sleeping as well.

Blue took out an extra blanket and covered Cookie with it. She sat at the bed watching her sleep, silently crying. She didnt know if her medicine was strong enought, she could only hope.

Blue shook her head "No need to apologize..." She said, a feeling of guilt started to build in her I should've stopped this right in the morning... what kind of a doctor am i...? Now it might be too late...

"Here, drink this." Blue held a bottle with custom made medicine so that Cookie can dring from it. "You should rest now... i... i'm sorry..."

Blue quickly jumped to her and helped her to her feet. Giving her support with her own body, Blue took her to the apothecary, she noticed how hot Cookie is to the touch. "Violent coughing and a fever... This is worse then i thought..." Although Cookie struggled a bit she could not resist Blue in her weakened state and before long she was laing in bed with Blue checking her vital signs and preparing something from her medical supplies.

Blue notices Cookie leaving the cabin, she runs to her. "Hi Cookie, um... everything okey?" She asked trying to hide her worries.

The sun climbed to the middle of the sky when Blue finally returned to camp. She trotted slowly, took her time, there was alot to think about. When she arrived everythink was calm and peacefull. She went to check if Cookie is back, and if Applebuck is okey.

Blue accompanied Cookie until the crossroad, one way leading to ponyville and the other ti Sweet Apple Acres. "This is were our paths devide. Cookie... please be carefull on your self... i wouldnt like it if something happened to you." Blue said and left for sweet apples, to check if Applebuck realy is their foal, to let them know that she is okey and to take anything she might need or forgot to take.
