((Leaving a little filly to fend for herself? Wow, Pressure's heartless....))
"W-wait! Don't go to-" The small voice was interrupted as it turned into a scream, which was silenced moments later. If pressure was to look back, there wouldn't be any trace that the filly was even there. Aside from this small occurrence, Pressure seemed safe.
Crimson lit a torch with his magic, lighting the trio's way as the moved towards the exit. Whatever that creature had been, it seemed to have gone, at least that's what it seemed. Rune followed silently behind Crimson. Without his magic, he didn't have much to help with. He'd have to find out what that creature did to block his magic use. He didn't have much time to ponder this, however.
Suddenly, there was a low rumbling that shook the castle, followed by an unearthly wail.
"I think that's our cue to leave." Rune nervously chuckled.
~Pressure~

The creature wailed, as it was burned by the flames from Crimson, unprepared for such a counter attack. It skittered off into the darkness, the flames on the creature lighting its path as it retreated. Soon, it disappeared into the darkness. All seemed calm, for now. Rune by now, had regained his senses, and turned to his two companions.
"I have no idea what that thing was, but whatever it did to me...Its blocked me from using magic." He held a hoof to his horn, a slight look of worry on his face. "I think we should get out of here as fast as we can. Crimson, can you lead the way?"

The group first heard a hiss, like a giant snake. However, it sounded odd, as if it was something from another world. Whatever the creature was, lunged from the darkness. The creature looked little more than a black blob, it lunged right at Rune, briefly latching onto his horn before jumping off and skittering back into the darkness. Rune let out a cry of surprise as he was caught off guard by the creature. Other than it causing the light he had lit to go out, he seemed fine, aside from some small disorientation.
"What....In the name of Celestia was that?" he said, trying to regain his balance.

"Well pleased to meet you, Quill." Rune said looking to where she had pointed, to see the sleeping pony known as Crimson Ace, relieved that there was another pony around. With him, these two, and that mare back at his hom, tha totaled four ponies. Now that he knew that, he could safely assume there was likely other survivors as well. They would just have to find them. First though, to get out of the Castle. The longer he stayed in this place, the more uneasy he felt.
"It might be best to wake your friend. Whatever happened to the Princesses and the Castle...Well, it makes me feel uneasy to stay here." Perhaps he could describe the feeling as one of being watched, but that wasn't possible, was it? They were the only three in here.

Rune cleared his throat, regaining his composure. The other pony seemed just as startled as he was at his sudden entrance. This darkness must be making all of them jumpy.
"Right. Hello." Well, she doesn't really even know she's one herself most of the time, unless I state otherwise. So it would indeed be a surprise to ponies, I think.

It's less pronounced now that she's grown, but when she was a filly, as I said, she had little control over it. As a full grown mare, it only really effects her if she's legitimately angry, upset, or feeling any other strong negative emotion. Which tends to be quite a bit more often than your average pony, unfortunately.
I should probably update her soon as to clarify a few points of yours xP

Whatever had happened effected the princesses as well, and everypony else in the castle as well. He would check Luna's room, and see if she was there. If not, well, he would return to his home and salvage what he could around Canterlot before moving on.
Rune pressed a hoof against the the door to Lunas room, opening it with relative ease. However, he was not expecting to see another pony on the other side of the door.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you Gracie, I've been rather busy lately.
*ahem* anyways, to address your points
About her Windigo part. You may wish to know that she and her siblings were created to be antagonists of a more mature RP, and more recently a protagonist of a little story involving them that I'm slowly working on - and as I stated above, I can't really go into detail with them too much because the rules on this site regarding violence and things are rather strict. I tried to make her more kid-friendly for here, but I had to cut out a lot of things.
Which is why it may seem like the 'Wendigo' part of her is actually a small part. That part of her, as SFG pointed out above I believe, has a major influence on her personality. As we know, Windigoes feed off of hate, fighting, and other negative emotions, and tend to cause such traits in ponies to surface more, which is also why other ponies seemed to pick on her more as a filly. Her brother and sister were immune to it, because they are both as well - Flurry just has more windigo to her than they do, she was the final 'experiment', or the last created by the ponies that created them. Glacial Hail (Brother), and Frost Flare (Sister), Windigo side is less pronounced, with Flare's being stronger than Hail's, as he was the first attempt, and Flare was the second.
Point being, its not just 'there' it actually has influenced her life to a rather large extent.
Did I do that in the same paragraph? Come on Rune, that's like writing 101 you should know not to do that. *facehoof* I swear, I'm an utter moron sometimes. I'll need to edit that.
More seriously though, Her flaws. Clumsy as in she inevitable breaks anything delicate she touches, and tends to get into accidents easily. (Perhaps I should say she just has continually bad luck xP)
Unintelligent - perhaps saying she's not a very clever pony would work better, and was a bit slow to pick up on things as a filly. She's grown out of the slow part, somewhat, but she's still not all that 'bright'. She understands simple things, trying to explain more than one thing to her at a time would cause it to go in one ear and out the other.
Her 'jerk' attitude - now, yes, she's a 'jerk'. She tends to avoid ponies for this reason, because she'll end up causing trouble, and despite her attitude, doesn't like causing trouble. (Unfortunately, the universe hates her and makes her interact with other ponies on a regular basis xP)

((Sorry about that. I was juggling a new job and finals. Still kinda working out the kinks in my job - but I have some free time before I head off to bed. Also, I suppose if no one else will, I'll come up with some plot or something myself. This Rp has a very intriguing premise, and I would hate to see it go because we weren't really doing anything xP
We could just say there was a time skip, to explain the lack of posts, by the way. Time enough for Rune to explore the now deserted Canterlot, and Pressure to recuperate somewhat, and for Quill to have slept a little.))
Rune had finally made his way to the Castle, after taking a few small detours. He had intended to come straight to the Castle, but he felt the need to make sure he wasn't missing anything. Namely, another pony. Aside from him and the one currently resting in his shop, he didn't know if there was any others left.
The entrance to the Castle was deserted, just like Canterlot. A chill crept down his spine, the eerie silence where there was once the noises of every day castle life, was enough to make anypony feel uneasy. Putting on a determined look, he trotted through the Castle gates, surprised to find the doors already open. Perhaps somepony else had been here after all. His hooves made loud echoes as he trotted through the empty castle, the light coming from his horn illuminating the hallway in a soft glow.
"Hello!" He called out. How many times had he done that since waking up? Ten? He sighed upon receiving no immediate response, and headed for Luna's Room, glad that he knew the castle well from his days in the guard.
We could just say there was a time skip, to explain the lack of posts, by the way. Time enough for Rune to explore the now deserted Canterlot, and Pressure to recuperate somewhat, and for Quill to have slept a little.))
Rune had finally made his way to the Castle, after taking a few small detours. He had intended to come straight to the Castle, but he felt the need to make sure he wasn't missing anything. Namely, another pony. Aside from him and the one currently resting in his shop, he didn't know if there was any others left.
The entrance to the Castle was deserted, just like Canterlot. A chill crept down his spine, the eerie silence where there was once the noises of every day castle life, was enough to make anypony feel uneasy. Putting on a determined look, he trotted through the Castle gates, surprised to find the doors already open. Perhaps somepony else had been here after all. His hooves made loud echoes as he trotted through the empty castle, the light coming from his horn illuminating the hallway in a soft glow.
"Hello!" He called out. How many times had he done that since waking up? Ten? He sighed upon receiving no immediate response, and headed for Luna's Room, glad that he knew the castle well from his days in the guard.

[B]"Yep, Aster! Newcomer here at the school!"[/b] Aster replied, either ignoring or being oblivious to Tabbyte's hostility. "Is she really that tough?" She asked, tilting her head in a quizzical fashion. She thought she was a decent enough painter, and she did get in, after all. That meant her artwork was good enough. Maybe not the best, she was sure it wasn't, but she go in. "Well, I'll just have to step up my game then!" She cheerily continued.
"Nice meeting ya! Sorry, but I left a painting and I need to get back to it! See ya round!" With that, Aster happily bounced off, not even getting Tabbyte's name.

As the assembly ended, Aster left the hall with the other students. She wasn't entirely sure where to go, so she began to make her way back to the room where she had started that painting. She wanted to see if she could finish it now, after taking a brief break.
As she made her way down there though, she saw the pony who she had waved at during the assembly. She seemed nice enough, so Aster made her way over to Tabbyte and her friends.
"Hi there!" Aster greeted her with a smile. "I don't know you do I? Anyways, I'm Aster! Nice to meet ya!"
