Artemis closed her eyes to take a nap, as all this talk about human machines was boring her. Suddenly, her ears twitched and she sat up, staring intently under the couch. She looked at the others, asking, "Did anyone else see that? There was a mouse right over there, it just ran under the couch!" Artemis looked at Game and said, "Do you mind if I go after it?"

Cloud sat rocking herself in the midst of an uncountable number of trees. How had she let her sisters talk her into coming here? One minute she was stuck in that stupid tour bus, and the next she was lost in the forest, surrounded by all sorts of creepy crawlies and big animals with teeth. She gasped in horror as a strand of her white mane fell out of her perfectly styled bun. She started to remake the bun, when suddenly a jeep came barreling through the trees - straight towards Cloud. She sat, frozen in fear, with her mane now hanging limp around her shoulders and her wide eyes staring at what just might be her death.

Description/Personality: Cloud is a somewhat a self-centered pony. She doesn`t normally fly because, ever since she was a filly, she has been afraid of heights. Her biggest interest is magic, and finding ways that she might be able to use it without a horn. The only thing she is more afraid of than heights is animals.(what a great fear to have at an animal reserve, right?)
Physical Description/Pictures: Cloud is a light blue pony with streaks of white running along her wings. She has pink eyes, white hair, and a sparkling cloud cutie mark.

Shimmer stared in front of her, watching yet another pony stand up and introduce herself. After mumbling a surprised `Hello`, Shimmer heard a whine. She quickly turned and went to Game, grunting little as she tried to help him up.

Shimmer stared Akuma, and said, unusually shyly, "My name is Shimmer." Then the young pony noticed Akuma pointing into the trees. She gave him a confused look before walking slowly in the direction he had indicated.

"It`s nice to meet you, Bramble," said Shimmer, still smiling. Suddenly she screamed as a large snake fell onto her equally large wolf friend. The young pony stared in awe and fear as the snake changed its form. Shimmer shook her head and, finally coming out of her surprised stupor, tried pushing with all her might to get the strange creature off of the wolf.

Artemis scoffed at all the talk of electricity being dangerous. "Electricity? You really spend too much time in the trees, squirrel. Yeah, it`s dangerous. But it isn`t the most dangerous thing in the forest, that`s for sure." She layed her head down on her paws and sighed, staring silently at the floor.

Artemis stared at the T.V., obviously confused. She shook her head, giving up on trying to figure out the weird magic picture box. "So Game..." she said, looking over at the wolf. "You were talking about there being others here, but that they are somewhere else while something is happening to the - uh, garden? So why aren`t you with them?"

Shimmer smiled. "Then it`s settled!" The young filly giggled a little, realising she still hadn`t even introduced herself to her new `pack-mate`. "I`m Shimmer by the way - Shimmer Song, that is." She suddenly sat up straighter, listening closely to something. "Did you hear that?" she asked. "It sounded like there was somepony else walking around near here."

Hearing the sad whine, Shimmer said, "Well, maybe we don`t need our packs. We`ll start our own pack! One that won`t judge you or be mean to you. Like a family!" She looked at the wolf next to her, wondering if he could understand her. "What do you think?"

Artemis followed Game into the kitchen and then into the living room, limping only slightly now. "So this tub thing... It`s basically like a waterfall, right? One that has a small basin at the bottom that eventually leaves in a stream." The cat sat down and started cleaning herself.

Shimmer giggled a little when she saw that the blueberries had turned the wolf`s already blue mouth even more blue. She looked up for a moment, thinking she had seen something through the trees... The filly shook her head and decided that if it wasn`t her imagination, it was probably a squirrel. "Don`t wolves normally travel in packs?" she asked. Then, looking down, she said, "Maybe you ran away from your pack, like I did."

Shimmer wandered through the forest, enjoying her freedom. She had only escaped her orphanage a month ago, but already the outside world felt like home. Suddenly the young pony came to a place she didn`t recognise. Standing a few feet in front of her was what she thought at first was a bear. But when she walked closer, Shimmer realised it was a large wolf. Digging in her pack that was always hanging at her side, she pulled out a small branch covered in blueberries. The filly carefully set down the branch near the other animal, saying, "Here... You can have this. It`s not meat.. but maybe you will like it." The chubby wolf in front of her didn`t look like it needed food, but that didn`t mean it wasn`t hungry.

'Moving pictures? Electricity? Lightning? Energy? This makes no sense!' thought Artemis, still eyeing the TV like it might stand up and chase her. Finally, she shook her head and followed Game to the stairs. "What`s the purpose of having stairs? Why would you need them?" The young cat sat down, shaking her head. This `master` person sure was weird!

"Oh." Lily closed her eyes, thinking. `I wonder why anyone would want to leave these guys. They seem so nice!` The young pony opened her eyes again, her mind made up. She would stay with this group, and help them in any way she could. After all, it would be good protection if her old master ever found her. "How can I help?"
