Oh, right! I forgot to mention the financial, um, problems that would come from it. Fortunately, Yellowpikmin got it!

Salutations newcomer! I wish we could be more accompanying to your interests, but as we don't know them (yet), we can't (yet)! Remember, you can ask pretty much anyone here anything (within the rules of course) and if they don't know, someone else will wander into the tread and answer! Probably.

Regardless, hope you have fun!

Hey there possible future acquaintance! Hope that we at LoE manage to house something that tickles your fancy! Even if we don't, I'd like you to stick around anyway! The more the merrier!

Hey there! I hope you find some people here that you enjoy! Or like to RP with. Or find intellectually stimulating. Or at least enjoy watching. Oh, Lurking works too! Regardless to your cup o' tea, Welcome!

I want everyone to be like you guys when talking about alicorns and not just go "Alicorns are OP!  DD:"  and etc.

The best way I like to think of it, is even though they are stronger in their unity of the races, they are bound by their own standards. Just because they might be able to fly faster than X Pegasus, doesn't mean that they should, would, or will. Same for the others.

Besides, If I wanted to say something was OP, I would provide valid reasoning, and listen to what others would say. Trying to state a opinion like a fact without support is just logically and argumentatively wrong.

... Well, it was around halfway through first season, when the ban-hammers were falling like rain. I accidentally got smacked by one, despite the fact I didn't post anything. Eventually, I started to wonder what it was I got banned for. After .017 seconds (according to Google) I found it all. Then came the "I wonder why everyone likes it?" followed by "I'll just watch one." and then by the death knell of "... well, it said To be Continued so it won't count, Right?" Since then, I've been lurking about and seen some pretty awesome stuff.

All in all, totally worth it.

I agree with Yellowpikmin and Asterian. None are superior. While I like Earthponies the best, I recognize the strengths and abilities of all of them.

Besides, wasn't this a "What's your favorite pony race?" thread, and not a "Which pony race is best?" Thread?

Oh! You mean DC as in the Place! I thought you meant DC like the comics (which would be a interesting shout out)
As for in DC? That's a negative. It is, as said before, a place of remembrance and honor for, generally, American Heroes. Shoot, there is still debate going on whether it has the right to host the Holocaust Memorial! Having a statue in DC? Not a good idea. It would devalue what is there.

Another thing that has been said before that I feel I must say again. It kind of bugs me when someone just says "a hooded figure wanders through Ponyville" for a few reasons.

1. A hooded figure seems like it would be someone trying to hide themselves, as if they were untrustworthy. Nobody would really be approaching that pony.
2. It really just shows that you can't think of anything better to start with.

As you said, it bothers me as well when something so quintessential to the start off of your part of RPing is just passively dealt with. Oh, and to add:
3. A hooded figure wouldn't generally be a common sight in most parts of Equestira. And when they did come, it shut things down(ie. Zecora (although it might be part to do with her being a zebra, but eh))
4. People trying to be sneaky (which is what is sometimes the reason for with the typical cloak method) would actually try to blend into the crowd quietly, not trying to separate themselves.

Tip: Always try to make your first post really good. It helps set the scene of where you are, and possibly where you came from. Trying to start off on a meh-ish intro to why and how your OC is there, is very difficult, unless it is your point to seem vague.
Furthermore, try to lead your posts into peoples possible actions.
Spoiler: Example • show
"(Mysterious OC) walks to the hardware store." This is okay in respect of leading in others, but vague in its execution.
"(Mysterious OC) starts towards the hardware store, nodding at those who passed by." This is better to lead others in.

What do you think about this for a basic "Keep in Mind" Making a Post tip?

Salutations! I hope you enjoy being here. I'm sorry you haven't heard of this terrible much, but let me assure you, it is a very nice place! I hope you do at least lurk around here, it is quite fun!

Excellent! This was really close to what I had intended for her. Although, it seems that occurs a lot with this.
Well done! And Well made quiz!

Ah, Delightful! It would be a pity for something with this much work in it just die.

I hope Balmy isn't just too odd...
Oh, by the way, thanks for making this!

Oh, this looks just fantastic! I can't wait to see what your idea(s) for it are. Only problem is, I don't yet know who would go in. Alas, This is no problem. I await your choices, and the RP thread eagerly, and with much (potential) joy!

Re-worked the character a bit, and fixed the cutie mark problem. Thanks, by the way, for pointing that out Gracie. I realized that naming the teacher wasn't particularly important, so I rewrote that part a bit. Fixed the one naming slip up, and I still can't find where I named her parents.

Other than that, I spruced up some grammar, and cohesion throughout. As always, tell me what you think!

Erm... Is this still open, or am I just drifting through old forum posts aimlessly?

I read a review where someone said there were plot holes in the movie. I didn't see any plot holes. I figure that person just forgot the things earlier on that explained things that happened later.

Oh of course Holes has many Plot Holes. Ahaha! Oh, sad pun is sad.

What kind of brony? Well, if you asked, I would probably say that I am one of the online bronys. I watch a video every now and again, and read some blogs, and buy a figure or two( cough, cough Twist, cough) But what I do most is read. According to FimFiction, I average around 60-70 thousand words daily, but that's nothing. One day, I dedicated to reading, and reached 267 thousand. I love dozens of short stories, and am a prereader for several more. I love my (online) books!

When I forget to pick up my lunches, despite the fact that I made them. I swear, it happens every week or so.
On the other hand, I'm here petting my favorite cat in the world, so it's all good for me!
