Messages - Nameless Whirlwind

61
Nameless woke up.

He tried his best to remember what happened before. He remember rushing down the halls of a ship, running down the opposite direction which everyone else ran. He remembered having a headache as he did so. He remembered a sharp pain against his forehead just a second ago...he still had a headache.

He tried to get up on all fours, but fell splat down against what he first thought to be the sand from a shoreline, but instead what appeared to feel like smooth rock. Focusing his eyes, he realized that he was on some sort of cluster of rocks on the coastline of some sort of island. The rocks battled against the sea, holding up against the increasing size of waves that the ocean threw against it. The sun shone brightly in the clear sky. It was too calm for a situation so dire.

He began to limp his way closer to the sea. There had to be some sort of civilization nearby, out there. Anywhere.

He slipped on a steep incline, his body tumbling down the rocks until he was just meters above sea level. He could feel one of his teeth dislodged, spitting it out of his mouth. Teeth would grow back, he would assure himself. Of course, it was false, but it had to be true in his case.

Just as he was about to get up, a large wave clashed against the rocky shoreline, slamming him against a large boulder. As the wave began to dissipate, so did all his hope. His tears began to mix with the seawater as it flowed down his body. He watched as the waves died down, listening to the sounds of birds and their songs to mend his broken mind. He wouldn't give up before. He would never give up now.

Turning around, he began to sloppily climb his way up the rocky coastline. Eventually, he managed his way up to some sort of grassy plateau. Relieved, he lied on the grass, his eyes closed. He slowly felt the grass seemingly wrapping around his body as if to comfort his pains. He felt the sun beaming strong against his fur, feeling his strength slowly regenerating back.

He continued to lie on the grass and decided that he would continue to do so until he could no longer feel the sunlight on top of his body.

UFDD-02 Executor.

((I was planning to 3D model the ship but I realized that I don't have the time to actually do it without delaying the RP long enough. The picture (which I just stole off the internet http://pics-about-space.com/realistic-space-ship?p=1#) is close enough to the shape I originally thought of, so meh)).

Outfitted with:

  • Engines

    • Three main ion engines.

      • main form of forward thrust/acceleration.

      • always powered on.

    • Nineteen secondary propulsion engines

      • located all over the ship for maximum maneuverability and agility.

      • unlike the main engines, they are activated at intervals (like igniting a spark every second or so) to conserve fuel and maximize effectiveness.

    • Nine tertiary combustion engines

      • does not work in space (needs something to push against)

      • Highly specialized engines only used in emergency situations.

  • Weaponry

    • Five MK-2 "Vulcan" armaments.

      • Two at the front(top and bottom), two at the middle (top and bottom) and one at the back (top/above main engines)

      • Plasma-based weaponry which fires plasma bolts in hostile situations.

    • Four missile tubes.

      • Capable of firing missiles at a rapid pace. Missiles include:

        • Tracer Missiles

          • Missiles installed with high-powered homing devices for greater accuracy. Can intercept enemy fire.

        • Contact Missiles

          • Missiles which explode on contact for additional damage. Has moderate accuracy, and can't intercept attacks.

        • Photonpedo

          • Launches pods which burst open and fire accelerating missiles.

        • Balmung

          • Nuclear missiles which explode near the target and deal heavy damage. Not many can be equipped at once.

      • All four are located on each side of the ship (at the middle)

    • Desynch Shot

      • The only means of attacking desynched (warped) units. Attacks all nearby desynched units by disrupting space and time.

      • Recharges every five minutes. Can hold a maximum of three charges.

  • Other critical systems

    • Dysench Drive

      • Able to reach 0.9c.

      • Uses a more saturated amount of fuel (fuel is used up more quickly when the ship is dysenched)

    • AI system

      • Allows for fast and 100% accurate calculations.

      • Also has its own (annoying) personality.

The Executor is a relatively small ship, measuring at approximately 92 meters wide, 492 meters long, and 190 meters tall at its peak. It is an extremely advanced flagship with many different weapons that can attack units from afar, and can attack units in other dimensions. Though it is relatively weak compared to other larger ships, it can still pose a threat.

The UFDD-02 Executor is a cutting-edge destroyer. Though it is incapable of docking other units, its heavy offensive capabilities are unmatched. Its sleek, aggressive design allows for movement even in the smallest of chasms and its special Desynch Shot can even penetrate into Desynched space to crush any foes. The Executor's armor playing is constructed from a very dense yet also very light alloy, allowing for simultaneous high mobility and resilience superior to a much larger cruiser.

((just putting this out for now. will explain what it is in a bit.))

What is planning to happen:

I am planning to have Nameless discover the remains of the Executor (well, half of it at least) before returning back to the Solar Arrow. I asked Fakesmile if I could introduce her new OC like this and it was agreed. It would be a pretty cool subplot to add if we were to add it.

The Executor was a dreadnought, tasked with defending the Solar Arrow against any threats. Suffice to say it was a pyrrhic victory for the ship. While it defended the Solar Arrow from an unknown force, the dreadnought was "lost with all hands" in the progress.

Putting this out. Just curious on how everyone would react with the idea.

So is it alright to look over these posts or should I respond to them?

I am confused/lost.

Are Misty's OCs still in the escape pod or does she think I'm still on the Solar Arrow?

Also, Misty Fly will play as 2 characters: One is Marble and the other is Deep Sense...
So, they are in two of those pods somewhere in space? I mean, we clearly said that Marble could be in the left escape pod, but not sure if we thought about Deep Sense's...
Wait, there's nothing in the left escape pod? Or I just misread? :0

It is up to Misty if she wants both/one/none in the left escape pod. Although I would prefer it myself if both were onboard to save time but I left it ambiguous at the moment, using excuses such as "it's too dark to see".

"Heh, I know a lot of freaks, and more! No need for a larger book. Besides, that isn't what the notebook is for." Thunder exclaimed as he took another sip of his beverage, examining every word the mare had to say about herself. He had hoped that the notebook would cause more effect, but he shrugged it off.

"I literally have to observe Canterlot's day and night, see how the locals act and y'know." Nameless explained. "I can't act when I feel it is necessary. I can only act when it is right." He said, directing his last statement at Blazing. "Although that makes no sense at all. Just a stupid business motto."
70
"Yeah, until my employers need me elsewhere." Thunder replied. "I'm hoping that this trip will take a month or two. I might have to leave tomorrow or in a few years, who knows?"

The stallion took notice in Fakesmile's curiosity. After thinking about it, Thunder decided to feed her curiosity even more. He reached for something in his vest. His hoof scrambled around until he felt a familiar object scratching his fur. He grabbed the item and placed it on the table.

It was a small notepad that came with its own pencil. The first page contained a haphazard of scribbles, pictures and notes in black ink. They detailed Thunder's first impressions upon arriving in Canterlot. The rest of the pages were blank.

"There isn't so much business in this business trip, though. I'm just here to explore and to act if needed. What do you guys do around here?" Thunder asked as he looked elsewhere and drifted into his thoughts for a moment.
71
"Me?" Thunder said as he shuffled in his seat into a more relaxing and flamboyant position. "I'm just visited for the month or so. Not on vacation, of course. You can think of it as a business trip."
72
Thunder took notice of the new pony. More specifically, the elemental light energy emanating off of her coat. He brushed through his own mane, remembering that it would glow as well given the right circumstances.

"The name..." Thunder paused for a moment. He hated giving out his own name to random ponies that walked up to him and asked him for it, but it didn't look like it would do any harm.

"...is Thunder, Thunder Arrowhead Jet." He simply stated, returning his attention back to his beverage, taking another sip of the mixture. He looked back at Fakesmile, waiting to hear her name.
73
"You can see a great deal of things in a cup," The stallion shot back. "Sometimes even a plastic cup can bring forth memories and...Yeah I have no idea. I guess the cup looks fashionable. Quite possibly I was thinking of something else, but who knows?"

The stallion began to softly chuckle. "Why am I even laughing?" he said to himself as he looked at the pony across from him. "I suppose it's because of you, and you are doing a great job at it so far. I guess that's what I came here for, a laugh."

Thunder took notice of Fakesmile's curiosity towards him. His smile immediately died off. "Eh? Whatca looking at me like that for? Is there something on my face?"

He looked to the side of his body. Under his vest were the gift granted to him for winning the genetic lottery: his wings. His rather, unusually large pegasus wings. "Is it the wings? I know it's unusual to see a pegasus like this but y'know, it's also unusual to see a pony dressed like that in a cafe, but I don't judge as long as you don't."

74
Thunder continued to stare at the cup, although it was much harder to do so. While he couldn't hear the music of the pony who recently sat nearby, the vibrations caused the plastic container to shake back and forth, causing the droplets to fall off directly instead of sliding down. The lack of music didn't even help at all, since he could clearly hear some giggling directly towards him.

He tried facing the other direction, only to face the pony with the jester hat once more. This time, it seemed like she was imitating him. It was understandable since she was trained to be humorous, but in the stallion's eyes it just seemed plain rude.

Unable to take these conditions, he surrendered. Pushed over his limits, he took the cup, got up from his seat and decided to take a seat opposite to Fakesmile.

He sighed. "So, is there anything you want from me?" He said as he brought the straw of his cup to his mouth and drinking the substance contained within. It was a mixture of salty and sweet, something the stallion didn't like but dealt with.
75
Thunder heard some sort of jingling sound. Turning his head around, he noticed some pony in a jester outfit. He realized that the sounds came from her hat.

He turned his head back. He noticed a new drop of liquid on the table. He had missed seeing it slide down due to the unusual sound he heard earlier.

He sighed, waiting for the next droplet to form.

[quote=History]
How long has it been...one, maybe two years ever since Thunder Arrowhead Jet stood proudly off the porch of his home? How he managed to stop a invasive extra-terristial species from Equestria, and protect it for the next five hundred years alongside his brothers and sisters.

It was tiring, but now, it was peaceful.

Not in a war sense, but it was just...naturally peaceful.

Sitting there on the pony-crafted wooden chair was a grey-coated pegasus. He had unusually large wings for an average pegasus as well as a feminine-like face. His teal eyes pierced those who met them, and his black and yellow-stripped mane and tail reflected the moonshine off of his face.

Behind him standing there was another stallion. An earth pony few knew of. Like Thunder Jet, he grew a coat of grey, but had a mane of a lighter shade with a white jagged line going down the middle. It was messy, but he didn't care. He didn't have a cutie mark, but he didn't care. He didn't have a name, but he didn't care. He cared about those around him, and that made his life worth living for.

He opened his mouth, gasping for quite a bit of air.

"Thunder, it's been four years since you've visited Canterlot. Why now?"

Thunder paused for a second in his reply.

"It is the first place we have met. Where we were saved."

Nameless pondered for a second or so on his statement. "Saved? I guess you can say that after what we-, you have gone through. Although, why do you return here? IN Canterlot?"

"Most of the community is gone," He replied. "Gin, Sheriack, Frost...Our first adventure?"

"You mean the one that you did a sonic boom in two-point-three seconds?" Nameless chuckled. "Who wouldn't."

"Sure..." He paused again. That was not the reason he remembered it so clearly. He was introduced to what was once such an active community around here.

"I'll...I'll be going home now." Nameless said. "Be safe."

"I will."

And with that, he was part of the shadows again. Lonely, but peaceful. Finally, he could finally earn what he always wanted:

Silence.

((The irony in this RP and the one I used to RP before (the titles help to extend said irony even further)))

It was two years ever since Nameless left Canterlot. Thunder Jet never saw him again.

The stallion sat in a busy cafe, animals going to and from with beverages in hand. One such beverage, a "Super Mix" as the menu listed it as, laid on-top of the wooden ledge and in-front of the pony. He watched as a drop of moisture which has formed on the edge of the lid slither down the plastic exterior of the cup and into a small crack of the polished table. He began to question what he was doing here.

He continued to lie on the side of his head against the table as he watched another droplet preparing to take its turn down the cup.

hey everyone, i have a question:

So, we were going with the idea that the Solar Arrow crew were the last of pony kind, and the goal of the crew was to find a new planet to start over on, right?  If so, I was thinking that in her search for knowledge, Sparkle would find this out, and tell the crew, but I wanted to check with you all first, just in case anyone had another way they wanted to have everyone find out.

Also I have been thinking about this as well, but I am not sure how to answer to it yet.
