Nope, science, lasers are scientific, while they may be made with magic, this thing is clearly scientific, and it right now may be working on a way to make lasers that shoot through your hats.

This isn't magic, in any sort of way, it's science, and it needs scientific things to block it. Glass would help a lot.

Just because it can't see us doesn't mean if we even go near it it will not sense us and completely destroy the hat, do you really think a hat will stop it? I don't even think steel plates would stop it. Citrus said this in a fashion that gave off :T ness

Citrus Magic had been gone for quite some time, the reason? There was an accident right as the beach was closing, and she had to go to the hospital for a while, but now she has returned, and questions what she missed.
She walks into the diner as she normally does and the bell rings and all that good stuff, and then looks around at the ponies.
What did I miss, dears? she says before her eyes can adjust properly, so everything is a bit hard to see.
