Hi everyone! I was thinking that we could have a tournament style fighting roleplay, no gore or violence or anything, but stuff like elemental magic and everything...
Basically, you are a unicorn (only) and they can specialize in 1 type of magic, it can be anything. You can play a move, and can describe it as well (Lara used ground shatter, hitting the earth so hard with her hoof that an earthquake occurred). The moves will count as damage to another person's magic, not health. Different moves cost different amounts of magic, and can cause different amounts of damage to their opponents magic level. To decide if the user hits their opponent or not, the dice mod will be used. A certain number or higher means it worked, anything below equals a miss. If you run out of magic, you lose (kind of like health bars)
So, before we start this, we should discuss some rules. First off, if you have comments, questions, suggestions, please tell me! I think this could turn out pretty fun, but the idea is still rough. And any people who want to test duel can do so, I will run as referee and score keeper for now. Make sure to post your pony's name, gender, magic type (be creative!).
Oh, and I almost forgot! Each pony will start out with a magic meter of 30. This will be updated/changed if it needs to be:) You can have as many different moves as you like, but they must follow these guidelines : any move that causes 2 damage will cost 1 magic, causes 5 damage costs 3 magic, and causes 10 damage will cost 7 magic. Also, you have 1 replenish potion that lets you regain 10 magic, but your magic can't exceed 30! (ex: you have 23 magic, take the potion, you can only get up to 30 magic again, not 33) Some defensive moves might be added on later, so test out this roleplay tournament and leave me any suggestions!

Hi everyone! Ever wonder what pony jail was like? Maybe if you committed a crime bad enough you got sent to the moon...
Mist surrounds you, and you have no idea where you are or what happened to you. All you know is that it's dark...
Suddenly you realize that it is becoming harder and harder to breathe. You frantically try to inhale, but can only wheeze and sputter as you remember where you are.
Celestia sent you to the moon.
** This is simply a description of what it is like when you first appear on the surface, so you can have it happen/start anyway you want it to:) you can be whatever type of pony you want, except for Alicorn and changeling... Also, you have to have committed a crime, so keep one in mind since it my come out later on! Have fun everypony
