Scarlet dodged Carter's corkscrew dash and she was ready to tackle Illusion... but the flare obligated the mare to cover her eyes. The vampony and Illusion hit the femme fatale with great impact against the wall but that wasn't enough. She was standing still... just barely, and with a weak smile. Another attack and she could pass out.

"Very well, Match Stick. You know? A good parent shouldn't treat badly his own child unless it's necessary. While your friends tried to be reasonable with me, you have been very naughty. As punishment, I'm going to spank that flank of yours... with this hooves." Arctic Star proceed to stomp the ground, creating a big carpet of ice in an instant. Match Stick was stunned by how she froze the area around her. "This is not my talent... but at the same time it's my power. These hooves do NOT create ice. They decrease the temperature to something, organic or not, to the absolute zero by just touching it. If I would, I could turn Equestria to an ice wasteland, making it impossible to thaw it with the sun. Celestia would be powerless in front of me... and this is not the only power I have."
With a simple glare of her eyes, Laurel and Marble started to gain consciousness... only to be prone to some kind of hyposis. Both ponies could hear calming voices saying what they should do and the former, after standing up and unfolding his new vampony wings, tries to withstand the mental control but it was only a matter of time before becoming a "children" like Scarlet and the other vampires.
"Ill... Illusion... hel... p me... ARGH!"

[I'm going to split up the parts here.]
Arctic Star, with innatural calmness, proceeds to Match Stick who was defending the portal Sta Diver created. The only way for the group to get out to the place. The unicorn could feel the floor getting much colder the more she approaches.
"I'll take your counterattack as a deny to my offer. Why do you keep doing this instead of accepting it? I can give you a new long-lasting life. One that fits the new world I want to create according to my children's dreams. Match Stick... your talent and your magic are overwhelming. Such a great potential shall not be wasted in a world the sun "kisses" his weak inhabitants. Even if you deny once again, keep in mind that you're going to change... and changes cannot be reversed in nature."

After a very enjoyful drink from her victim, Scarlet didn't noticed Illusion's charge until the very last moment.
His tackle was painful... and she likes it. For a normal pony a tackle like that could hurt or even break a bone... but it was nothing but a scratch for a vampony like the crazy red mare.
"Hehehe... did you tried to hit on me? I thought you were a gentlecolt being the unicorn you are."
Her creepy grin became a creepier smile by seeing Laurel Crown screaming and twitching in agony.
He was feeling a horrible pain in all his body as his coat and mane started being more ruffled and a pair of vampiric wings came out. His teeth grew more during his final metamorphosis and even Marble Star had the same exact experience.
Arctic Star took a quick look... and smiled.

(Obligatory godmodding... also, since Misty Fly didn't rolled the dice, it will count as an automatic 1)
- Grand lllusion reacted quickly to the ambush as he teleports behind the aggressor and launch a magic beam that knocks the vampony out.
- Carter rises up and started "dismounting" the beast before its teeth could reach his neck.
- Before the vampony could attack him, Blue Cloud was quick enough to give him a double hoof that sends it straight against the wall.
- Star Diver, due to his jumpy nature, shakes and screams but nothing prevent the vampony to bite his neck. By activating his horn, he creates a portal beneath his hooves to help him escape... and with an another portal, he lands on top of the beast. Now Star Dives's metamorphosis time has been decreased like what happened to Laurel.
- Match Stick was able to get out of the vampony's grasp and blast him with a fiery beam from his horn.
- Unfortunately Laurel wasn't strong or even lucky enough to escape from Scarlet's hold. The femme fatale, the most dangerous vampony in Arctic Star's "family", finished what she started with the harmless pony, now lying on the floor twitching and feeling pain from the sudden transformation.
- Even Marble Star didn't escape like the others and now she experiences a huge pain around her body.

If that doesn't calm you then I have to be sincere in order to open your heart to me..... There is a way to reverse the process. A way to block the metamorphosis... but I would suggest to avoid it if you do not want to suffer."
Laurel look at Arctic Star with a suspicious glare. If she wants the group to turn into a bunch of vamponies, and thus being her children, why she would say there is a way to cure the vampirism? After some minutes of walking, where the ponies hoped that Arctic Star didn't heard them, they enter in something that resembles a ballroom.
Judging from a large bed, lots of stuff such as vanities and night tables, they assumed it was her bedroom. The entire room was covered in darkness except the center where there was a lamp illuminating the spot where Arctic stood.
"So... now that were alone, we can finally discuss about your problems. Maybe with a cup of tea. Before you could ask me anything, I have a question for you: do you really want to return to your original forms? Is that why you came here?"
[At this point, I know what should I do so please... do not screw this part. There is also another interesting gimmick I want to bought up soon enough.]

The room has fallen into silence.
The tall alicorn Arctic Star look at Grand Illusion with a smile. Not the kind of smile you would see on a happy filly, but the kind of smile that could unsettle even the most determined guard. The group knew that she could freeze them in a simple spell... and yet her manners look so sweet, so calm, so gentle.
Scarlet, on the other hand, was looking to Grand Illusion with fiery eyes.
"Very well. Let's go in my room so that we can talk to each other and see what can I do to help you. Scarlet?"
"Yes, my Mistress?"
"I want you, along with my most trusted children, to organize the plan."
"You mean "that plan"?"
A soul-piercing gaze from Arctic Star was able to flinch a vampony like Scarlet who got out of room swiftly. The icy princess turns around to look at the seven ponies and once again use that smile.
"Follow me." she proceed to go to an entrance located near the throne.

"Don't worry." she replies while caressing each pony with a hoof. They could feel their coats freezing just by that one simple touch. "Each one of you will have a room to sleep and eat something so that you can regain your energies. After that, we're going to discuss about everything you can ask me for and see if there's a problem I can solve. I know all of you had a rough experience but it's not my fault if Scarlet can be... ruthless sometimes. Ruthless but very faithful. So... what do you think about my offer"

You all look tired by looking into your eyes. Would you rest in our rooms? After all you're becoming the new members of our family in due time and no vampony will attack you. Despite being the one behind the curtains, her personality was too likeable. She was speaking with a gentle and sincere manner, almost like a motherly figure. It was a common trait for a princess... but the ponies knows that it could be a travesty to hide her real - probably dark - personality. The chilling atmosphere that surrounds her may as well be a hint of her true colors.

"Calm down, Scarlet. It's all right. It's not like I asked them to bow down for me. Even a well educated child can be a rebel but you don't have to force him, just let him pour out." Arctic Star notices Laurel Crown struggling to keep standing still, only to be helped by Grand Illusion. "Is there a problem, darling?"

"My, my... What do we have here? Guests?"
The group turned around. Behind her was a tall mare. Her coat was sky blue, giving the impression she's made of ice, while her mane was very tall, almost touching the chest, made of a much darker shade of blue with a long white stripe and with patterns that resembles wind spirals.
Her eyes, also dark blue in color, were even more soul-piercing than the vamponies had...and just like the vamponies, she has wings and... a horn.
In appearance, she was like a princess... a dark princess with long teeth coming out of her mouth, horn and wings like an alicorn and creepy eyes.
Her dress was something that could only be described as "polar-themed belly dancer". It was a two-pieces dress with crystal and snow patterns, a long transparent gown where they could see her Cutie Mark (a moon with five snowflakes surrounding it) and a big necklace with a snowflake symbol.
They also noticed something on her hooves. White smoke was coming out of those hoves... and they wouldn't want to touch it. The more intelligent ponies in the group (like Laurel Crown) thought it was something like liquid nitrogen.
Scarlet bows down in front of her like a subject of her after she saw the tall mare.
"My Mistress. As you ordered, we searched for more members for your proud and ever-growing family and, after we bit them, I gathered them here even though these ones were a bit... stubborn." She then proceed to grab Laurel Crown to the neck and trying to push him down. "Bow down. You are in front of her majesty. The Mistress Arctic Star."
"Arctic Star?"
"Stella Magnifica Arctica. This is my full name... but for my children, I'm Arctic Star. Please to meet you all, my dearest children." She presents herself with the same kindness a mom would have to his son.

[This roleplay should be called "The Full Pun Syndrome". Anyway, I need to do some godmodding here]
The group follows Scarlet who is leading the way through the hideout, which looks like some kind of ants' nest. The rooms were filled with vamponies with their shining teeth and soul-piercing eyes watching the seven ponies. The seven new members of the family. Some of these vamponies have a horn as a hint that some of those ponies were unicorns before got bitten and transformed into the creatures they were now. Some were earth pony and they have such developed muscles that they could to knockout a bison with a kick. The pegasi were the only ones whose changes were mostly estetic. The group was terrified to being seen as some kind of preys... among predators. After what it seemed to be ten minutes of walking in the caves, with the ponies being nervous, they enter in a big room with a throne stading on top of a hill. There was nopony sitting there.

Scarlet come close to Marble and talks to her. She was so close to the unicorn that the latter was starting to get unsettled... as if the creepy personality of the vampony wasn't unsettling enough.
"She's the one who stripped us of our meaningless lives and gave us a new, more meaningful one. She's the one who dreams about a land where only the moon would stay high in the sky, a land where only the quiet and romantic night will be the new "day"... After Illusion and Marble returned to the team, there was a collective sigh of relief. They couldn't (or wouldn't) imagine what would have happened to those two if they were lost in the woods. If Scarlet's words were to be taken in account, they would have turned into statues. And from statues, they would have turned into pile of dust.
"Very well. Follow me."
Scarlet led the group away from the river (the only way to escape from the orchard, discovered by Illusion and Laurel) and she takes them further into the woods. The trees were getting more and more numerous to the point where the moonlight is shadowed by the branches. Scarlet led the group away from the river (the only way to escape from the orchard, discovered by Illusion and Laurel) and she takes them further into the woods. The trees were getting more and more numerous to the point where the moonlight is shadowed by the branches. [As Julien999 said: you have to follow the story of this roleplay since it has a "fixed" storyline that must be followed. Feel free to answer Laurel or Scarlet, to discuss with Match Stick about what should they do, to do something that it's relevant to the story instead of doing random things outta nowhere. I know it sounds difficult to immerse in the RP but I know that feeling so here's my tip: be yourself (or rather be like your OC/Ponysona; as long as he/she doesn't have a Pinkie-esque personality) and try to intervene whenever you think sounds appropriate. Once you catch the wave, it'll be natural.]

Ignoring Scarlet's provocation, Laurel stretches a hoof towards to Marble "Wait Marble! What are you doing?!?"
[Ok. Match Stick can stay in the group but now it's Marble's choice. Same thing applied: if she doesn't return, I will officially expel her from the story. TBH I'm starting to get annoyed by these unexpected turns as I try to push the story with only Laurel and Scarlet here.]
