don't get me wrong i loved both shows its just hard to remember the older one for me but i plan on rewatching it on Netflix since i think its on there X3?

Oh don't worry, I'm not trying to debate which is better or which one you should like!  I meant the whole theme song thing as tongue-in-cheek (although I do personally think it's the best theme song to any animated series).  If you do end up watching it on Netflix, keep in mind that it starts out strong, but in the last couple of seasons the animation goes downhill and the stories get a little whacked-out.  Seasons 1 and 2 were the strongest in my opinion.

when you said "X men" i automatically thought of "X men evolution" but i bet you meant the older one that kinda crossed over with the Spiderman series

Yeah, was definitely talking about the "old" version.  I tried watching X-Men Evolution, but never really got into it.  I grew up with the comics from the 80s and 90s, so Evolution didn't do much for me.

And, come on, you have to admit that the older animated series had a far superior theme song!

But as a kid, however, I know I really loved the Super Mario Bros Super Show cartoon. It seems to be a weird choice, and looking back, it hasn't aged well at all, but I think I just loved it because I was a big Nintendo Nerd.

Please tell me you watched Captain N, too!

Oh boy, time to show off how old I really am!   X3

My all time favorite cartoon growing up, and even to this day, is The Tick.  It used to be on at 11:00am on Saturday mornings and my brother and I made it a habit to watch that, as well as X-Men the animated series, which aired right after it.

Some of my other favorites are Sam and Max: Freelance Police, Darkwing Duck, and Big Guy and Rusty.

I had actually been browsing /b/ (a habit I've more or less grown out of) and I noticed a rash of "pony threads".  My curiosity eventually got the best of me and I found the shows on YouTube.  After the first episode I was like, "...huh, that was pretty good."  After watching the whole first season, I waited impatiently for the second to air.

Then I fell into the fandom.  I started browsing Ponychan and even started reading some fanfics.  Most were terrible, but a few were so well-written that they inspired me to write my own.  So I think that was around the time I "officially" became a brony.

So... what you folks are saying is that I should check the rules?

Sorry, couldn't resist.   :P

Greetings and salutations!  I'm not sure if this is a mistake or the beginning of something good.  I registered because I was curious about the game, but I'm not even a MMORPG player.  I rarely play any of the newer games and am content to play the games that I grew up with.  But, hey, gotta step outside your comfort zone once in a while, right?

Anyway, my handle is Bardsworth Brony, but you can call me Pete if you want.  In regards to my bronyness, I'm a regular over at Ponychan's /oat/ board and I've written several fanfics that can be found with modicum of searching.  Been into the show since before the start of season 2, and then got my wife hooked on it shortly thereafter.

I'm an artist and a writer.  I'm the mastermind behind the webcomic Bardsworth and I've self-published two novels (with a third on the way).  I love music (currently into instrumental progressive djent metal) and fantasy novels (currently reading the Grimnoir Chronicles by Larry Correia).  I homebrew beer in my very sparse spare time and have an addiction/affection for coffee.

Anything else you wanna know about me?  Just ask!  I'm an open book.
