Police commissioner Stablewing read the letter, his jaw agape. He stared at the report one more time, before looking at the letter again. It wasn't possible was it? That there was a pattern going on here? A very odd...very odd pattern indeed.
"I need to get help." He decided, pulling out a quill and paper.
Dear (insert your OC's name here),
I know you from your reputation. You're an honorable guard/ servant of her Royal Majesties. I wish I could be writing on lighter terms, but there has been a grave incident.
Recently, Trottingham has been struck by a series of well...bizarre thefts. I use bizarre simply because it does not make any sense. The items reported stolen are the most unusual. They're mainly odd knick knacks or household items, but they've all been reported missing and there is evidence of a burglary. Certainly a few precious items have been stolen as well, but it's all the same that this sudden spree of thefts must be connected.
And then well, there's a letter. Apparently addressed by the thief themselves, threatening well to steal Trottingham's prized glass slipper. I don't know much of what to make of it really.
Below are the items stolen.
Ten pairs of slippers
A clock
A diamond brooch
A bathrobe
Ten quills and a bottle of ink
A carton of orange juice

Personality: Cheerful and known to be a little bit of a dreamer, Orchid is always looking on the positive side of life. Despite living in a city filled with rather unsavory ponies, she'll always be happy to explain flowers and flower symbology to anypony willing to listen. However, she always hates bad news and often shies away from conversations that contain such news. While certainly not a powerful unicorn, Orchid does keep most of her magic into maintaining her flowers and getting rid of any weeds that try to tamper with them.
Origin: Born in Baltimare, Orchid learned to love flowers with her Daddy. Often, they'd spend their time gardening and would call each other "Bud-dies" until one day, her father and mother divorced and Orchid was forced to live with her mother.
However, eventually after her mother seemingly abandoned her one night, Orchid went to live in Manehattan with her aunts, Aunt Darjeeling and Aunt Piano Keys.
From there, she's grown close to her aunts and has decided to carry on the family tradition of her father by selling flowers in Centrot Park. However, she's always been open to taking her cart to other areas in Equestria to sell her flowers, which many ponies comment on their rather vivid and bright appearance.

The castle lights seemed ever so distant as Finders Keepers locked his shop. Checking the lock and giving it a nice tug, he made his way upstairs. It was odd, having been a merchant for over a dozen or so years, that such habits as taking out his fake teeth had become second nature.
Slipping the teeth in his cup, he made sure to take careful note of the tiny speck of gold among the molars. Ahh, he'd never forget that tooth for quite some time.
"Well, off to night I suppose."

The morning came and as Finders woke up, he felt something was off. For one thing, the door was ajar. He could've sworn he closed it. And another...
"My tooth! What the hay happened to my tooth!"
